After ordering several of these I went back and ordered several more. A great price and they hold my hair (just past my shoulders and medium thickness) very well. They don't feel super sturdy (so 4 instead of 5 stars) but so far have held up well. I would recommend. For the price you can buy several, I've got them stashed everywhere!

Great for Thin

I have very thin fine hair and this holds all of my hair in place.. I was afraid it would be too big for me but it is great! A friend of mine has Very thick hair and it works great for her as well! A Very versatile clip..

This is a nice, lightweight clamp for shoulder length hair. However, I don't think it would work well for long hair. However, it does have a nice grip. It's lightweight, but not flimsy. I would definitely recommend it, unless you have really thick hair.

Simple and Sturdy

Quick Take: durable
I love this hair clip, so much that I bought 1 in black and 2 in brown (I have golden brown hair, so the tortoise color blends nicely--I hate when the color of my clip stands out!). I also purchased two (one in each color) for my mom, and she loves them as well. I have super long, curly hair...and she has short but super thick, wavy hair...and the clips work for both of us! Finally, a durable clip that can hold all of my hair without looking obnoxious!

Quick Take: useful and relaible
Lightweight but strong. Holds hair really well. without being too big itself. The best I've found and very reasonably priced compared to the better ones I'm finding in other stores.I bought two more.

Great claw

I am new to using claws for my hair because it is thick and wavy and I haven't found many to work well. This one doesn't hold all of my hair like my octopus clips, but it does hold well. It says in my hair. It is light weight. It is flexible (so it doesn't hurt my head if it gets banged).
