Quick Take: creamy
Great colors. I just love Bite. They are so fun to use. I never fill bad about putting it on knowing I am going to eat it it off. I just re-apply all day happily. The textures are so nice. I am a fan.

Quick Take: bold. flexible. handy. pretty. fashionable
I was so scared of orange shade. I am super pale and was worried a bright orange lipstick (in fashion these days) would make me look clownish. I normally hate red but this kit comes with everything you need to make your lip stand out and smack someone in the face. The pencil in a HYPERBRIGHT neon orange-red. A little goes a long way. If you like a bold red look then the pencil is all you need. Me? I'm not a geisha so to calm down the effect of the bright pencil, they supply a nude/beige lipstick and gloss. This will magically turn your bright red lips into a classy, shiny orange. Adjust as desired.

I apologize this is a re-up since i had to move channels. I like the set and I like the colors, but sure the lip gloss is more on the neutral/ nude/ "do-not-need-to-use-concealer-to-nude-out-your-lips color and the pencil is super bright. but i like the lipstick too! Please see video for swatches. :)

Best lip stuff for vintage look - fair skin

Quick Take: fun, mod, good for fair tones
I'm always looking for lip stuff that feels good and gives me a vintage look. Both the nude and the bright coral are great and you can mix them up, too. My lips get dry really quick and they crack, and this is the best kind i've found for that. I have super fair skin and the two colors both look great on me.

All three of these products feel great on my lips! They are all smooth and don't run. Gloss is not sticky either. Colors are awesome, I wear the nude lipstick almost all the time and the bright orange/red is such a fun summer color. Love that these products are organic too!

Gorgeous J-Crew Red!

These colors are so fantastic! The shining star for sure is the Zinfandel pencil. It's that beautiful coral red that is all over the J-Crew catalog. I love it because it's very bold, but not quite as intimidating at a true red. It's amazingly creamy and not sticky on, and has some pretty great staying power. It's going to come off if you eat or drink, but it's not something that's really going to fade much on it's own. Also, it fades evenly, so you don't have that weird thing where your outer lips still have color and your inner lips have nothing.
The gloss is fantastic, with a lot of color to it. It's opaque, not really sheer. It's a nude color, with a little bit of gold sparkle. Again, it's very creamy and not sticky, even though it's a pretty thick gloss. It's very moisturizing, and has some pretty good staying power.
The lipstick is a great creamy nude color. I think the color will look a bit better on me when I'm not quite as tan as I am right now. Often times light colored lipsticks will pick up and amplify any flaws on your lips and any little dry spot, not so with this lipstick. It's so moisturizing it glides right on and makes your lips look fantastic.
This is a great value and I recommend this product whole heatedly.

the lipstick glides on nicely, the lip gloss is a lovely colour and isnt tacky or sticky, the high pigment pen is a part hit and part miss.
pros. lovely colour, really pigmented.
con.. the lid doesnt stay on and the product itself cannot be applied straight on the lips because the prducts is so soft, almost like where it left in the sun,.. use a lipstick brush to apply product would be the easiest way.

Quick Take: fragile, too soft, highly pigmented
Let me start out by saying the colors of all three products are absolutely lovely, especially the Zinfandel. Both the lipstick and pencil broke off at the base after a week of use-- they're just way too creamy to stay together. I can't imagine what'd happen if I carried them around in my purse in this summer rather than keeping them in my relatively chilly bathroom.

Perfect redhead/strawberry blond lip colors

Being over 40, and loving red lipstick, this set is perfect.
The lipstick and gloss and nice neutrals and the lip pencil is the perfect redhead/strawberry blond's shade of red. It doesn't bleed into wrinkles and doesn't need a lipliner for staying power.
The color of the pencil is an exact match to OPI's Cajun Shrimp nail color/nail gel.
Very creamy and moisturizing, my lips never feel dry. I have been using this every day and getting many compliments.

I went into the store and saw this set on display. I liked the nude-rosey lip stick and the gloss (which is pretty by itself). But that OTHER color had me scared. A lovely Sephora employee showed me that if I put the lipstick on first THEN put on the lip pencil, the color is the AMAZING wearable coral-y color that I can't get enough of! This is a stellar value. I love the luxe-feeling packaging of these. Love love love!

Perfect bright tint. Perfect pale lipstick. Perfect neutral glass. Go on perfectly and stay on. I am very fair but these neither wash me out ir overwhelm me. Lips are my makeup thing and Bite is a new fave.

Quick Take: good value if you can use all the products
I'm a red zinfandel kinda gal. It's actually my favorite glass of red wine. That being said, never in my life have I experienced a "Zinfandel" in this ungodly bright, almost neon, red. I gave it to my dark completed girlfriend, she loves it. The chemical smell of the gloss is unacceptable for a pro brand. I will never understand the manufacturers that miss the mark on this, it's under the nose for corn sake! I do love the lipstick, it's a lovely nude that is truly nude. It also has soft and creamy texture.

Quick Take: fabulous
As if I could love Bite even more after getting my Grapevine high-pigment pencil a few weeks ago... Here is a go-everywhere, do-everything mini wardrobe that will get you thru the summer. Great, flattering colors that feel wonderful on in one "such a deal" package. Ya done it again, Bite & Sephora!

so the lipstick, gloss and pencil are amazing. the gloss over the lipstick adds the right amount of shine, and the coral pencil seems to work well for me, even with my super pale skin. i'm glad i iwent with my gut and got this set for the summer.

This was really disappointing even though the price is really good. The lip gloss had a terrible toxic smell to it. The lipstick is too light & the pencil is a tomato red which looks good on hardly anyone.

I really just wanted the Zinfandel pencil but decided to get this set because of the value. The lip pencil is fabulous. The color screams summer! It does have a tendency to bleed at the corners of my mouth after several hours of wear though. The gloss is a beautiful neutral shade. It goes on a bit streaky on me, but I'm able to make it work. The lipstick is a terrible shade for my skin tone,it looks ashy on me. I'm sure it would be gorgeous on lighter toned skin. If I do use it I just barely dab it instead of swiping it on and top it off with shimmered gloss.

Great set for the season. I get compliments everytime I wear the Retsina lipstick and the Zifindale lip pencil...gotta have it with me at all times. Last for a decent amount of time while moisturizing my lips. What more can I ask for. Totally addicted!!!
