Read CAREFULLY before you buy, and DONT complain!

Quick Take: natural look, bad instruction but you know what google is for
Before I go into the product review, I need to say that, people, read reviews carefully before you buy, and there is also a thing called GOOGLE that you can use if you found the product so un-usable.
Now, the product. It does have a very confusing instruction as there is NO LIGHT indicator for warming up, instead the 2 little dots on the back side of the curler will turn GREEN when you heat it up. I am afraid of heat, so I usually wait until one of them lights up, which takes about a min. With proper use (STAY LONGER AT THE ROOT AND MOVE IN A CURVE MOTION rather than going straight ahead) you will get natural look, instead of super curved and kinked lashes. It does not give you a huge difference that you might expect (super curled like what you will get from regular curlers in 5 tries), but it gives natural look and stays in place. UNLESS your lashes are thick and hard to curl, this curler should be a great addition to your makeup collection.
And as for those who have broken products in weeks, mine still works fine after about 2 months use. If you do take care of it, it should not go wrong, otherwise just simply return it.
Overall I would recommend it.

Reviews were right!

So it does work and nicely warms up the mascara and takes away the clumpy look BUT in order for that to work it has to stay in one piece. The rod on the tip like others had said came off after a week and became fixed to the magnet on the lid and couldn't get it out. Also the light never changed to green so I never knew when it was "ready". Just used it.

I don't know, you guys. I have very straight lashes, and this only works for me if I use it AFTER my waterproof mascara (not washable, HUGE difference there) has dried. It takes twice as long as a regular curler would take, and the end result is minimal. I see the appeal because it doesn't tug at your lashes like a regular curler does, but I'm not convinced it's worth the time, effort, or money.

I wasn't happy at all with this heat curler. I've already returned it. I let it warm up, however the red light never turned green per the instructions. I used it before and after mascara application. It seemed to work better after the mascara had been applied. Maybe this would do better with Dior mascara-I was using Buxom. Regardless, I didn't see much curl or much of a difference and I have really long lashes that are not hard to curl.

High hopes, but disappointing
-05.02.13
First of all, it does not turn a noticeable green when it's ready. If they are talking about the dots on the side of the heating wand, it is hard to see. Secondly, doing this on bare lashes will do nothing. I put on a light layer of mascara then use it and it works a little bit better. There must be a better solution to using heat to curl the lashes.

Great alternative for those allergic to nickel

Quick Take: quick heating, worth it
I LOVE this! It heats up extremely quickly and does make eyelashes more upright. Green dots on the BACK of the wand indicate when it is heated.

Less than spectacular but have made it work
-04.28.13
I too have had issues with this product. There is no way that I can see it working on anyone's lashes with or without mascara as described in the instructions by the manufacturer. To make it work for me I apply a flexible mascara and then basically "clamp" my eyelashes between my index finger and the wand tip for a few seconds. I think of it as a mini curling iron for my lashes. As others have, I too had an issue with the wand tip getting stuck in the cap. Luckily, I was able to pry it out with a pair of tweezers without damaging it. I leave the cap off now. Unfortunately, I misplaced the tiny cleaning brush within a week as there is no storage system or carrying case for this product.

I love this thing. I can only use tubing mascaras that completely eliminate any curl by regular lash curlers because all other mascaras flake on me. This gives a very natural curl , and although the curl doesn't last as long as I would like it to (hence the 4 stars), it certainly lasts longer than any other curler.

It broke. :'(
-04.26.13
Quick Take: poorly designed
The thought of a heated curling iron sounds super awesome. When it was working correctly, the lashes were curly, defined, and stayed in place for the whole day. It made the eyes looked seductive, but unfortunately, it is not a good product yet. Batteries were replaced almost every 4-5 weeks (even when I only use this once a week because it's time consuming) and the tip of the curling iron fell loose. Had to take it back to the Sephora store for a refund.

The best
-04.25.13
I used Sephora's Lash Curler and after it had broken decided to give a shot for the Dior's Curler and I am so happy!!!! I have very short and straight lashes, so I am using it before and after applying mascara. My lashes look longer and curlier than ever!!! I will stick to it for a long time!

This product is good, I cannot use an eyelash curler, and wish I could, but they cut my eyelashes off. I have long eyelashes and this gives me a better lift, however not as good as the crimper type.....

Best heated lash curler I've ever used!
-04.23.13
This lash curler is what every girl needs. Rather you're wearing mascara or not, you're lashes will look long and plush with this heated curler. I have naturally long lashes and my mother is always telling me how jealous she is because hers are short and thin. So I let her try my Dior heated lash curler and her lashes looked fuller and longer like mine. She loved it so much she went out and bought one for herself. When using the curler, the directions will say wait for the light to turn green, but the red light doesn't turn green, if you look on the back of the curler you will notice two little circles and when the curler is ready and hot, the bottle circle will be a green color. That's the green light the instructions are talking about. It's easy to use and you can also use it for more than lashes. If my brows are looking a mess, I'll run my lash curler threw them a few times and they look straight and amazing. :))

Don't waste your time or money, this doesn't work
-04.19.13
Quick Take: not worth your money, doesn't curl, defective
I read about lash curlers, and these heated ones seemed to really do the trick. I'm a lash junkie, and my lashes just don't hold a curl. I ordered this and my first curler was defective. It didn't heat up at all. Back it went, and the second curler had a metal piece fall out when I opened the box! This did heat up, even without the metal piece, but the product did not curl at all. I don't think it gets hot enough to actually make a difference. I was very disappointed to return this one also, as I really wanted this product to work. I'll have to stick to blow drying my regular curler. :o(

Bummer
-04.15.13
Quick Take: defective
I just bought my second one of these because the first one, after a short time of use, the wand came off and was wedged inside the cap, making it unusable. Well....the second one, after the second use, did the same thing!!! It is too bad because it was great when it worked. I will be returning both of them.

Bought this since I have eyelash extensions and they recommend you use heated lash curlers since regular curlers will damage your lashes. Doesn't really do anything for my lashes except give it a temporary boost.

Happy Lashes
-03.23.13
Quick Take: effective, innovative
I have lashes that almost grow downward toward the outside of my eyelid, and no regular eyelash curler or curling mascara would remedy that. While it took a few tries to get the hang of using this heated curler, I am very happy with it. I use it before applying mascara to get the lashes from curling downward, then apply one thin coat of mascara and curl again with the curler to get the lashes to curl upward. I do use a curling mascara, as well. I'm only giving it four stars because of the learning curve to use it.

Natural Curl
-03.19.13
I love this curler! It's much easier to use than a traditional crimping curler and provides a much more natural curl! I reduced a star because the top part is easy to break off (which somehow it did in the protective covering). While this is inconvenient, I can still reattach the top and use it as normal.

Learn how to use it!
-03.17.13
Quick Take: easy to use, a must have
I had trouble with this when I first got it, but now it is a staple in my routine. The best way to use it is to turn it on when you start your makeup, then it will be nice and heated when you get to your lashes. I then get the back of my finger wet with water, and brush it on my lashes. As the lashes are drying, you take the curler and wiggle it into the base of the lashes, then pull upwards.
It gives the perfect "I have fabulous lashes naturally, aren't you jealous?" look. The only think is you have to figure out how to use it first!

Quick Take: accentuates, curls, use it after mascara
This tool worked exceptionally well. I was thrilled with it, but after only using it a few times, the wand part came off and got stuck in the cap! Then the metal spring that heats it up separated - so it is now unusable. Maybe this was a freak thing, but I am hoping to get it replaced.
