I Love This Stuff

Quick Take: hydrating, brightening, absorbs quickly
I tried a sample of this and couldn't put it down. It didn't necessarily show dramatic results, I don't think. But it just made the area under my eyes look so much better than others I've tried. I can't tell you exactly what it is about this, but it just works for me. Even with my super-sensitive skin.

Quick Take: eye lift in a bottle
I love this under eye gel. It is light and a little goes a long way. I have seen dramatic results when I look in the mirror. It's so easy, cool and refreshing. Even my husband uses it! I can see even more results on him.

Quick Take: hydrating, absorbing
This is by far my favorite eye gel. It is very hydrating but absorbs well into my skin. Other eye gels seem to leave a shiny wet look under my eyes and my eye liner often smears. I do no have this problem with algenist. I use a lot of their products and love them all! I have even seen some of my fine lines going away and deep eye lines are not as noticeable.

Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I loved this for about two months. The gel formula absorbs quickly into skin and doesn't interfere with eye makeup. After a couple of months, however, the skin around my eyes started to get irritated. I ended up with red, scaly patches that would only heal when I stopped using the produced. Very strange! I have sensitive skin, I think there's some ingredient I can't tolerate in here. Too bad, but I'm glad I got to use most of the bottle because it's pretty pricey.

This actually shows some noticeable improvement in lines and darkness. nice smooth finish. I have used 100's of different products, this shows promise. You definitely need an eye cream, this has no hydration at all.

Quick Take: firming, lifting, can't live without, tightening
This gel works!! Finally an eye product that does that the packaging says! I have spent hundreds of dollars on eye creams all with mediocre results, but this one actually lives up to the hype! It really does lift and firm. It has firmed both under eyes and my eyelids, and made a definite reduction in the amount of wrinkles, bags and puffiness. I just bought my second bottle and will keep using.

Firming, Lifting, works!

I have tried a bunch of eye creams for my allergy-induced under eye puffiness and dark circles. This is the only one that has worked. the price tag is worth it - it goes on slightly slick, not sticky at all, more like a silicone feel. I use it at night and in the morning, and it has reduced the dark circles and puffiness, and also lifted my upper eye lids as well. I don't give 5 stars lightly, but for me this has worked and after trying lots of other products, its the only one that has!

Not worth the money, after a couple hours my fine lines under my eyes seemed to look worse and darker. I have tried many brands this compares to some of the cheaper brands. Tried it for about 4 weeks and won't buy it ever again.

Quick Take: works fast
I have tried all the lift products at Sephora. When I say tried, I mean I used them day and night from anywhere from a few months to a year per product. Algenist is the best that Sephora has to offer. Skip the rest and try Algenist. You won't be disappointed! Bonus, it works fast!

I use this product with the Dr. Perricone Ete Lid Firming product and together it has firmed up a lot of the wrinkling. My only concern is the cost of the products. The Algenist is a little cheaper.

Truth: It sometimes works. It seems to work a little. Sometimes nothing. I am 68 and it may be working or my diet (which I have improved since a year ago) is the reason for a somewhat lifted eyelid.

Apparently this product line works on elastin. Thought that it would be a complement to the "collagen" supporting products. I was right. Using this is conjunction with the Clarsonic Opal (which helps the product penetrate more deeply into the skin), was definitely shown results. The product has "thicken" and strengthen the skin around the eyes and the lines that were starting to form have been reduced. Have been using it for three weeks. Hope to be able to give this an "excellent" rating in another month or so.

When I try new products, especially new product lines, I like to do my personal consumer test. I used the Algenist on one eye and my favorite products on the other for 2 weeks. The difference is mind blowing and if I was the person reading this instead of writing it, I'd think someone paid for this. I bought this the day I went into a Sephora store to get help with my eye make up because my upper lids were beginning to droop too much for me to use colors in the way I had. After a couple of days of pity party because the consultant said I shouldn't use eyeliner (my very favorite eye product), I decided I would test my new Algenist. I have tried a couple other products from the line and been happy but this was the first Firm and Lift product.. It's hard not to sound like I'm exaggerating when I say, the Algenist side lifted enough for me to be able to use eyeliner and use color in my newly rediscovered contour. I'm writing this after another 2 weeks. I can still tell which eye I started with because it has continued to improve but I can do my eyes like I want to again. Does this mean it will work for everyone, of course not. Everyone has different skin. I don't have a problem with wrinkles or dryness so I can't say if this would help that at all. My recommendation is go into your Sephora store and ask for a sample to take home. I am now using all their firming and lifting products and am anxiously waiting to see if I get similar results on my face and neck.

Quick Take: smoothing, improves the look of dark circles
Algenist makes great products and this didn't disappoint. It smoothes crepe-y under eye areas and even helps dark circles. I do need to add a little extra moisturizing eye cream on top before I apply concealer because it does feel a bit on the drier side after application but it's worth it.

I have been having issues with eye cream being too greasy and making my eye makeup runny...but not this one! Loving it thus far. It's expensive so might try something cheaper next time.
