Worth the Wait

A friend told me about this concealor and I finally got it. What a great find. It's the perfect shade and texture. Love it! The only thing I will say is that it is very small. I wish there was more for the money, but the quality is excellent!

Too dry for under my eyes.

I have so many concealers and am always looking for more. I purchased this in the lightest shade, Ivory Nude, and intended to use it under my eyes and to cover the occasional blemish.
The finish is fairly creamy and doesn't cake. It's a bit dry and eventually creases some under my eyes, but I guess that is to be expected. I wish I could use my brushes to blend, but there isn't enough slip to do so. Bess suggests using the fingertips to warm the product and that's what I have to do and it does work better, but even with an under eye moisturizer, this concealer doesn't blend wonderfully.
I don't use it under my eyes anymore, but it does work nicely on some red marks on my face and I use a tiny concealer brush for that. It's a good product, but not the best.

I adore every other Edward Bess product I've tried so I was anxious to try this concealer. Unfortunately I found it to be too waxy and heavy. If I applied it to my face directly from the tube it pulls at your skin (and I have young firm skin), and if I applied it to my fingers first it still took a lot of pressure to get it to apply and blend on skin. I will say that the color was great. I'm extremely fair and it was light enough in color for my skintone. However, I just couldn't get it to blend and cover without being heavy and waxy on my skin. Kind of feels like a waxier pancake makeup on your skin.

Expensive but love this one! Great color match for me as I am so fair and it covered up my under eye blue cast and got rid of the red on the side of my nose. Small package with secure magnetic top is great for my purse. You don't need a lot so that's a plus when considering cost.

great creamy texture, used a brush to pat on, also swerved a little zig zag across my undereye and smoothed out with brush. great coverage but gets a little cakey/ creasy looking by the end of the work day. heavier texture than I was looking for- returned for a smashbox product recommended by the store associate. love sephora associates!

So having tried many, many concealers. I absolutely love this! I was using Bobbi brown's creamy concealer, but I find this way superior to it. Great coverage, good consistency, non-drying (for me anyways) and just a little goes a long way. I know the tube is small, but it has more product than BB's.
I got shade- soft beige which worked well for my asian skintone. I definitely recommend this product!

This concealer gets the job done. It's nice and thick like I need it to be and stays put all day. I have really dry skin and find that it works great for me. I have no time for watered down concealers...this is the real thing. Doesn't disappoint.

I got the shade soft beige, but it's a wee too light for my NC 35 shade. This concealer is best for spots on the face such as acne or hyper pigmentation because it's so pigmented. But why did I only give it 3 stars? Because for under the eyes it's too dry, especially when I already have slightly dry under eyes it just settled in the fine lines under my eye and just looked aging.

I just adore Edward Bess products and this concealer is no exception. It really seems to be the only thing that does the trick these days. This concealer is nice and thick so it really does cover up those dark circles, veins, blemishes, and redness. I apply with my finger and sometimes mix it with his Deep Hydration Cream which is also a dream for my parched skin! Keep up the good work Mr. Bess!

Well, ladies, how excited can we really get about concealer? I've never been truly thrilled and amazed by a concealer but I sure am with Edward Bess!!! It is truly an "airbrush in a tube."
It's just so dang expensive, and the tube is very small. I am very pale, dishwater blonde, eyes green-gold, neutral complexion and the lightest shade, Ivory Nude, is perfect for me. As if it had been custom-made for me. Somehow - I wish I knew Edward Bess's magic trick but I don't - this full-coverage concealer does not look makeup-y. Nor does it turn greasy. I apply with a concealer brush.
This is my first Edward Bess product and I can't wait to try some more! <3

so happy to see Edward Bess at Sephora. I use this creamy concealer every day to cover the dark shadows in the corner of the eyes & blemishs. It's easy to apply with a finger tip & gently blend in. This is the first concealer that actually feels like it nourishing the skin. I use the soft beige. Love EB!!

Full coverage without needing an corrector. Does not go into lines, nor shifts. I'm an NW10 and the Ivory Nude was light enough without looking corpselike. Worth every penny.
