Quick Take: natural looking
I purchased this in After Sunset - I'd been lusting after it for a while and treated myself for my birthday. It is a lovely shade on my (relatively fair) cheeks. I can look kind of pale, and yet this colour seems to blend naturally into my skin. It's not brown on me, it's not rosey on me.. not coppery.. maybe a "burnt rose" sort of colour? I do like it very much. Plus, it lasts easily all day for me. It is a small size but it takes only a very little product, so it will last me quite a while. HowEVER, yes the packaging - disappointing to open up my shipment and have the pan fall out of the box and the compact come out in little plastic bits. The lid was broken right off, the pan was not glued in. I don't mind paying for good products that work for me, but honestly Edward, you should really look into the whole packaging quality thing. So, one star off.....

Not sure what to do with this

I originally purchased After Sunset and found it was nice if I used the tiniest, most minimum amount on my lips to darken my overly pink lipsticks. I then purchased Island Rose, hoping I could dab this one as well.
Although it's a pretty colour, it's too dry to use on my cheeks and even my lips. I had it for a while, never reached for it and ended up returning it.

Beautiful rich colors

Quick Take: natural looking
I have this in Island Rose and After Sunset and both are beautiful colors that have lasting power. However, it doesn't spread well at all on the skin without the use of a makeup sponge. Also, and this is an aggravating issue with the entire Edward Bess line - the packaging is terribly cheap. I dropped these on my carpeted office floor and in one case, the tin with the blush became detached, and in the other, the entire case broke and now has to be held together with a rubber band, not cool.

Quick Take: natural looking, creamy, luminous sheen
First time I put this on I used way too much so quickly learned to dab lightly then blend. I guess this is actually a good thing because my problem with most cream blushes is they are too sheer. This product says it can also be used on lips which I have not yet tried but will soon.

I have this item in Love Affair. Gives me a nice pop of color on both cheeks and lip. Texture is nice and creamy, and a little bit goes a long way. I've had mine for months and still have plenty left. What a great value. Also love that its nice and small so I can fit in in my purse easily.

I'm of filipino descent and I have a medium, olive toned skin color. I purchased "Love Affair" which is a bluish-pink color. It gives a faint pink blush to the skin and is a good opaque nude color for the lips. Gloss should be worn over this if used as a lip color. While I love the formulation of this... a little goes a long way... the compact itself is TINY.The pan is only 1.5" wide. I took a star away for the size and for the fact that when I opened the compact, the pan almost fell out because the glue failed to hold it in.

I don't usually go for cream blushes but my skin has been so incredibly dry this season so I thought I'd give it a try. I kind of just accidentally stumbled on this brand which was completely new for me but took a chance and sooo glad I did. I am in love with this product. I A quick dab on the cheeks and lips and I look like a new person! Quality is fantastic and color I bought (island rose) is perfect! Im looking forward to trying other EB products..

Quick Take: natural looking, goof-proof formula for professional results
EB is a darling of the beauty bloggers. I wondered if he could possibly live up to the hype and if a twenty-something newcomer could possibly create products that could compete successfully with the big companies. In this case, yes on both counts. This formula makes for good-proof application. I usually have to dab, pat and baby cream blushers for an even application. EB, you can pat, rub, blend, smear it on and it refuses to steak or leave bare patches. The texture is transparent once on the skin so you won't get coverage from this formula so I use it over a foundation or tinted moisturizer.The shade, After Sunset is a tawny rose neutral that goes with everything. Wear time for me is about 3-4 hours but it layers beautifully for touchups. I took one star off because the glue did not hold the pan in place beyond 2 applications and also the product is very tiny, much smaller than say, Stila or other comparable lip and cheek compacts. By the way, this color doesn't register at all on my lips but I imagine the pink ones would work better for that.

Love this product! Delivers such a beautiful, soft pink, glow to cheeks. My only problem with it was whe mine arrived the disc that holds the blush had come off from the compact. Nothing a little super glue could'nt fix. Had I been able to return at the store, I would have swapped it out but not annoying enoughnto waarant sending it back. Overall - A
