Nice and Creamy, but . . .
-05.10.13
Quick Take: glides on easily
I like this lip liner, but the color isn't my natural. It works for me, but it would be better with a choice.

Quick Take: long wearing, soft, glides on easily
Smooth application, stays put, neutral color. Great all by itself and a good base under almost any color.

Creamiest lip pencil ever
-04.07.13
Quick Take: soft, glides on easily, love the shade
I've probably owned 100 different lip pencils in my life. Hands down this is the best. It glides on, providing the perfect canvas for any lipstick. It seems very pricy until you realize that two full sized lip pencils come in every box.

just a hint of pink in a nude lipliner. I'm pale and don't wear bold lips, so works for me well.

NOT NATURALLY SO
-02.07.13
NATURAL LIP COLOR IS "NOT" BROWN, BUT IT SEEMS EVERYONE IS USING THIS SHADE AND CALLING IT "NATURAL", "BABY LIPS", "BLUSH", ETC. HOW ABOUT "NATURAL???"

Soft pencil, great natural color. I would give it 5 stars if it lasted longer and didn't break (maybe too soft?). Could last a little longer on the lips, but I will still buy it.

THE perfect lip liner
-12.04.12
Amazingly, this lip liner goes with just about everything. It goes on nicely and blends beautifully. And, if you use either of the Edward Bess palettes, it's perfect. It does "play up your pout".

Natural
-12.04.12
Glides on smoothly yet it seems a little dark on my lips. I Tried to blend it then top it off with my lipsticks yet I see more brown and having a hard time to blend it on the lipstick that I will use. No sign for me to rebuy it in the future, yet you get two for $30 not bad.

Quick Take: a flattering color, creamy
This is my latest go-to lip liner. The pencil is creamy and easy to apply. The color is perfect! I fill in my entire lip area, then top with gloss.

Not right for me
-11.16.12
Quick Take: creamy, easy to apply, best for fair complected
The quality of this lip pencil is creamy and easy to apply; unfortunately "naturel" is too light a color for my Asian lips. It's probably fine for women with fair complexions. I would have liked to have given it 5 stars but because the color wasn't right for me (and I can't be bothered sending it back) , I gave it 4.

The perfect lip liner!
-11.04.12
Quick Take: soft, long wearing, glides on easily, natural looking, universal color
Just found the perfect lip pencil! I always use a lip liner, but I was tired of having to buy dozens of pencils to find the "right" color to match a lipstick. Even most pencil colors labeled as "nude" or "natural" are anything but that.
The Edward Bess Lip Liner is the perfect universal color (for most). It can be used for nearly every lipstick I own, because it's such a neutral, natural-looking color. Getting a set of two pencils is great because you have one for your vanity and one for you purse.
It goes on very smoothly and seems to last a long time. My lip line is perfectly defined. (Why is it your lip line seems to "blur" as you get older.) The look is very subtle and natural, and you don't see that obvious "lip pencil outline" that you get with other brands and colors.
As soon as I tried this, I ordered another set from Sephora. Now I can throw out the extensive collection of "mistakes" I have sitting in my drawer.
This is truly the best lip liner I have ever tried. I will never be without it.

Versatile
-10.31.12
This lip liner glides on smoothly and is a truly universal color for all skin tones. Wear it alone under gloss or with lipstick. It's a great value too! The only reason for four stars is that while it's long lasting, I don't think I'll ever find a lipliner that will last long enough.

Naturally lucious
-10.04.12
Quick Take: long wearing, glides on easily
This color is neutral and very natural looking. I press harder for a darker "line" then add gloss and smack lips to create a real yet full lip. Great for everyday.

Awesome
-09.25.12
Quick Take: a must have
This is a must have for truly gorgeous lips. The color and texture are far superior to anything out there. And believe me I've tried them all- Chanel, Dior, Lancome, Sisley to name a few.
Love, Love, Love!

Lucky to get one star
-09.05.12
Quick Take: not for me, no pigment, too faint, went back
Sorry I thought this did nothing for lips. Felt like the color wasn't concentrated enough or pigmented enough. That being said it doesn't mean it won't work for u but for me did nothing. I did like that u got 2 pencils so 1 star for that

perfect color
-08.24.12
Quick Take: easy to apply, very creamy
Love the color. It's perfect! It is soft and goes on smoothly. I shade in my whole lip, then just add gloss. I have learned not to unwind too much. It will break off.

Fabulous!!
-06.23.12
Quick Take: soft, long wearing, glides on easily, versatile
This liner is just perfect in every way. A true nude color, long lasting and creamy. It glides over my dry-ish lips without tugging and can be used under almost all my lipsticks and glosses regardless of shade or used alone with clear gloss on top for a my lips but better look. The price is great for two liners so yes, try this!!
