I have mixed feedback on this product. I love the mascara. It goes on smoothly and looks great. I hate the packaging. Mascara clumps at the end of the applicator and when you screw the top back on it squirts out the sides and makes a huge mess (plus has wasted at least half the mascara). That's disappointing.

Oh. My. Goodness. I can't tell you enough how much i love this mascara. I know this mascara isn't for everyone, but it just does everything I want. I don't even use a lash curler anymore because of it!

Quick Take: lengthening, defining, volumizing
This is a great mascara for volume. I find the formula is wet when I put it on so I waited for the lashes to dry before coming in with a second coat. After I got that part down pat then I loved it. The brush looks like a comb (rubber I think) so it prevented clumpy lashes. The overall wear is really good too as it never caked or clumped. I got black and am curious how brown would look.

I found this mascara difficult to apply. The brush is terrific; it's the formula I didn't like. A longer wand would enable the brush to be much more effective, as well. I got spider lashes--ugh. Also,for up to a minute after application, the mascara would smudge when I'd blink. Returned!

Quick Take: defining, volumizing
One of my first criteria when trying a new mascara is whether it comes in a selection of colors other than just black. This comes in brown or black which I appreciate. The second and third criteria is how smoothly it goes on and how difficult it is to take off. Next is how volumizing it is, the price, and last, but certainly not least, is that it’s made in the USA.
Edward Bess mascara met most of my criteria including made in the USA. The product itself is great. It does not clump or flake, goes on smoothly and stays on. I love the brush! It truly gets to each and every lash. Even the tiniest. At the end of the day when I’m ready to remove it, simple light soap and water do the trick nicely. As I’ve gotten older, my lashes aren’t as plentiful so appreciate something that plumps them up. This works pretty nicely. It is pricey and much more than I typically pay for mascara, but I am very happy with this product and will purchase again.

Quick Take: thin and you have to pack it on in order to see it
I was disappointed in this mascara. It does not separate your lashes and you have to layer your lashes in order for the mascara to show.

Give me a lot of volume and length! Wear it for 9 hours, no smudge! Only hope it holds the curl as well for the price! I have Asian soft lashes, rarely any mascara can hold curl on mine any way. I would give it 4.5 star~ Love the brush, can reach lashes in the corner as well!

So pleased to see Edward Bess at Sephora! Have been wearing his mascara for more than a year & love the feel, look & brush. Before EB I wore hypoallerengic mascara which was like wearing no mascara. EB mascara has never bothered my eyes & I can finally wear a long wearing mascara worry free. Thank you Edward!

Looks like fake eyelashes. brush seems to be the newest tech in mascara...brush keeps mascara cake free yet separate lashes while lengthening lashes.
