The color of the eyeliner and shadow were too dark for my light complexion. I would have been happier with a liner that was more of a grey/lighter black.

I love Buxom's eyeliners, so I was excited to get this duo that came with an eyeliner. I was suprised by how much I like the eye shadow. It's a good color on its own, or to use as a base for a smoky eye. It's a good value and it would be great if there were sets with different colors.

I always turn to this when I'm in a rush in the morning. it's very easy to apply with your fingertips and can create a gorgeous smoky eye in minutes, I love the Pug shadow as it's very creamy and easy to blend with just the right amount of glitter.

Quick Take: portable
I love dark eye makeup so when I saw this I HAD to have it. Well....the shadow isn't very pigmented at all. I had to darken it up with my Black Palette from Urban Decay. Will probably end up keeping it though because the liner was great. Goes on easily and smudges to perfection.

I Love PUG!

Quick Take: portable, good value
I love the creamy eyeshadow in PUG not only because of it's pigmentation and the fact that it's a beautiful color but also because of it's name! I love Pugs/Puggles! I love dogs! The eyeliner is ok. I like to set it with black eyeshadow.
All in all, I'm really loving this cute duo! I hope they continue releasing these types of sets/kits!

A little disappointed

So I love Buxom's lip glosses and thought I'd give this eye duo a try. Well, sorry to say, I'm not nearly as happy as I'd hoped I would be. The pigment in the shadow is not as strong as it looks in the container and the eyeliner smudges :( The liner is not something I can wear for a full day without smudging.

Quick Take: good value
I received the eyeshadow in a 500 point gift and I loved the color. I had to buy this combo even before I was out of the other. The feel of the shadow is kind of spongy and it can go on very light to very dark. The amount of shimmer is perfect for someone (like me) who is not as young as they used to be.
I was not interested in the eyeliner, just a bonus in the purchase, but I really like how nice it glides on my lid. I am used to cheap eyeliner and this is much smoother. I wish that it was not as waterproof as it is. It tends to be very difficult to remove.

I am SO happy they have this set. I was actually wanting to buy these 2 items seperately and then I saw it came in a set AND you save money doing so.
I am obsessed with these eyeshadows. They are the coolest texture and are just amazing. They are bouncy, creamy, and glide on. This is a very smoky, pewter type grey. Its very metallic also. Its just gorgeous. I use it over the Urban Decay primer potion and it does not budge. The other thing that this eyeshadow does is its an amazing base color and you can easily layer colors over this to make them more vibrant and last longer.
The liner is great also. It is a very black, black and it glides on smoothly. I use liner ONLY on my water line and this stuff lasts for hours. This is actually one of my favorite liners for my water line.
Would definitely recommend this set... you save money AND you are getting 2 great products! LOVE it!

I really really wanted to love this set. The eyeshadow is a great texture and has the most beautiful sparkle and sheen and the eyeliner is inky black and goes on so smoothly. I tried it a few days in a row with a combination of primers and setting sprays but the eyeshadow was gone in an hour or two and the eyeliner was halfway down my face within 45 minutes. I finally went to return it and the woman processing my return at the Sephora counter actually asked what eyeliner I was wearing because I needed to try a different one it was so smeared, when I told her it was the one I was returning she just nodded. The eyeshadow would probably stay nicely with a powder eyeshadow to set it but that would cover the beautiful sparkle and then whats the point? Sad….

Sultry perfection

If you haven't tried Buxom Stay-There shadows or Insider eyeliner, then this is a great way to try both at a fantastic price. These eyeshadows are some of my fave. In fact, this is my eighth color from the collection. They have a unique texture and go on smoothly; I just apply with a finger. The eyeliner is wonderful as well.
Pug is a taupe-grey that will go with any eye color. Just the right amount of sparkle, can be worn day or night. The shadow goes on sheer and the color is buildable, so you can make it as intense as you want. I use a primer and have no trouble with it staying on or creasing.
Love the eyeliner as well and I normally can't wear black eyeliner. (Just used it on my top lashline and used my usual BE charcoal liner for my lower lashline.) It's smooth, creamy, and smudgeable. The pointy tip makes it easier to draw a fine line. Love the built-in sharpener on the end.
A winning duo that combines to create a beautiful, sultry look that can be worn with anything from jeans to a dress. So glad I tried it even though I normally hate black eyeliner. Love this combo!

TWO EXCELLENT PRODUCTS AT $11.50 SAVINGS

Quick Take: good value, very dependable products
The Buxom Flirt Alert set includes two products that I've been enjoying for almost two years. Both products are excellent. I like this duo because both products are full sized, so buying the duo saves $11.50.
I've been using the BE Buxom Insider Eyeliners for two years. They're totally awesome and line the delicate inner rims/waterlines perfectly. It's very difficult finding liners for inner rims/waterline that are gentle and perform well for extended periods of time. These liners fill my needs perfectly. this brand does. I like how gently and easily they apply without pulling or tugging, and they're waterproof, too. The reason that they're one of the best inner rim liners is that they apply so gently and stay so well. Of course, they can also be used as a regular liner, above the upper lashes, and below them They're so perfect for defining with a thin barely there line, or for a more dramatic glamorous look, with a thicker line. We all need jet black liners, and Onyx is ideal. This is full sized.
Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow in Pug is a great shade for my brown eyes. I recently discovered how varius shades of gray can work well with my eyes. Gray shades are not as harsh as black.. There are times that I need a serious look, and gray is giving me that, without being too austere. I like this line of eye shadows because they don't fade, don't crease, and last a long time. I do use a primer. I like how these shadows can be layered for deeper intensity or lighter used for a more innocent natural look. It's waterproof, too. They have a nice finish when applied, and look very even. What I especially like about Pug is that it looks different, depending on how the light hits it, so it works well day to evening. Pug is a shade that is great all year round and be utilized in a huge variety of styles. If you're looking for a pewtery shadow, this is an excellent choice.
Once again, this is an excellent duo, well worth $19.50.
