I have blonde hair, blue eyes and very fair skin with neutral undertones. I bought the fair/light and it does not match me at all. It ends up turning too dark of a color on my skin. The powder itself is very silky and smooth feeling and it controlled oil well. But, I did notice that the powder settled in my smile lines after only a couple of hours of wear time. Sorry, this one is not for me and I wouldn't recommend it unless it ends up matching you perfectly and you need minimal coverage and have no lines.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I gave this foundation a try. So far it's pretty good. I know it's says that it self adjusts but you should still try it on in the store or under natural light to make sure it matches your skin tone. I have combination acne prone skin and I've tried everything under the sun to find that perfect or somewhat perfect makeup for the summer. So far it's doing a good job. it stays on for hours, my face doesn't look shiny or super oily at the end of the day and when I remove it my face feels so soft.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I purchased this product to put over my JM tinted spf 40 moisturizer and it works great! It gives that extra coverage and keeps the skin smooth and mattish all day. I have also tried it over the JM liquid foundation and it gives a lot of coverage together. By itself, this product will even skin but not hide imperfections such as dark spots. I highly reccommend this product for a picky shopper.

Quick Take: long wearing
Love this product. Haven't broken me out. I have very dry skin and sits well. As far as the self adjusting part, I guess it works cause it matches me well. I am NC 20-25 and I wear the medium shade.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
I used the Josie Maran pressed powder as a base for years, but it was discontinued. I was sad to see that Josie Maran changed their products, but figured I would try this. To my surprise, it wears really nicely. The coverage is good, and it matches my skin tone perfectly, which is really rare (I often have to buy two colors and blend them together to get a match). Downsides: When I got it in the mail the powder had completely shattered, and I needed to go to the store to exchange it. I try not to travel just in case, so this is a little inconvenient.

Quick Take: long wearing, oil-free, self adjusting
I was a little skeptical to buy this product at first, just because $36.00 for a Powder Foundation where you can buy much lesser or cheaper price with other brand. I have been using Josie Maran other product for a year and been loving it, so I thought this will do what it supposed to do. The result is this is the best Powder Foundation I have ever used. Very pigmented but not cakey and what I like the most the color adjusting to my skin tone - miracle?? Ahh just how the way the product was designed for. A little pricey so I will not use this for my everyday routine. I will still alternate with my other "not so pricey" foundation. I put this on at 7AM, and it stay like that until 7PM. Note: I worked in an office environment. A little bit different result if I wear it to be outdoor all day.

I have dry skin and powder either cakes up or makes my face look older/drier!! This powder is perfect! I even prefer the sponge it comes with and pat it on my face than a brush. This way, you will use a lot less product. I have had mine for about 2 months and haven't hardly used any. Some comments state that it hasn't even lasted them a month. Use the sponge! I have realized that any foundation works for me now as long as I have this powder. I use both. Great finish that lasts. The best, and I have tried them all (almost)!

I did not like this foundation at first, I thought it was too thick and a weird color, but I think I was using it wrong. I find if you gently pat it onto your skin with the included sponge and then blend it out with a kabuki brush it gives a really nice finish. Its very silky and feels like nothing on my face. Gives you a very lovely glow, surprisingly controls oil well, doesn't cling to dry patches, and blurs pores nicely. It gets 4 stars because it does not adjust to your skin tone

I've just tried this powder foundation and absolutely love it! Been wearing it for a few days now and it's so great to not need a touch-up throughout the day for shine, etc. Feels so soft going on and matches my skin tone perfectly.

This powder has incredible lasting power for me, the best I've tried. The light/medium gives my light skin a nice color, almost tanned looking without being orange. I can use it alone or over other foundation (powder or liquid) without looking masked or cakey. This is the first foundation I've used that truly does keep oil in check throughout the day. For me, the coverage is great, probably because of the added color it gives me. My one and only complaint is that it can get pretty expensive because it gets used up much faster than others I've used. I've only had it for a month and already need to repurchase. I bought the MUFE powder at the same time, use almost as much as this one, and still have 3/4 left. But the quality of it is definitely 5 star-worthy.

As my skin is really dry I always searched for a powder that gives hydration during the coverage...and I found it.It is a great product for dry and sensitive skin, I love the light texture on my skin...i´m still feeling hydrated after a 15 ours day!

tried but failed

This adjusted good with my skin tone but it left my face with dry spots on my cheeks and around my lips . It did leave my face bright in a good way. I exchanged it for the tinted moisturizer in the desert tint. So hopefully that will work out better. Oh n by the way this was my first foundation purchase ever.

Nice coverage and color. Like the skin matching technology. When I want to wear less make up, I will use just this instead of putting it on top of my concealer. My skin is a light olive (turns darker in summer) and I got the medium tone. Purchased it at the recommendation of a friend and it was a good choice!
