Quick Take: portable
It was love at first sight with this palette. I love the flower design and detail they put into it. I have oily lids so I did use a primer before applying the shadows and they applied smoothly and blended very well. If you want the colors to be bold, it is buildable. I put together a look with this palette and absolutely love it. Check it out.

Quick Take: portable
It was love at first sight with this palette. I love the flower design and detail they put into it. I have oily lids so I did use a primer before applying the shadows and they applied smoothly and blended very well. If you want the colors to be bold, it is buildable. I put together a look with this palette and absolutely love it. Check it out.

Pretty, but pricey

Quick Take: pretty colors, sheer & shimmery, red can be used on cheeks and lips, poor design - fallout taints other colors
I wasn't sure how big this would be, and the only other NARS products I have are deluxe samples so I can't compare it to any of their other products for reference. But, it is as wide as my iphone (from product edge to edge - the container itself is wider) and just about an inch and a half shorter than my iphone is long. So I'd say it's a pretty good size eyeshadow.
The colors are pretty but quite sheer - you have to go over them several times to get them to show up. The white is very very sheer and pretty much shows up as just a pretty hint of shimmer. The gold as a little bit more pigment but still very sheer, shimmery and wearable. The red is also sheer and pretty (almost like... burgundy meets rose maybe?) and it also looked nice putting just a dab on my cheeks as well as dusting a bit over my lips - dramatic and sophisticated. And black is always good for lining and times when you want extra drama.
I took off one star for the price - even though it's not tiny, and it is pretty, it is still too expensive for what you get IMO. And I took off another for the design. Yes it looks pretty, but fall out getting onto other colors and not mixing well/possibly discoloring them is going to be a problem. I would rather they were separated to keep it cleaner.
Side note: I think everyone assumes the brush that comes with their eyeshadow won't cut it, but just to confirm - this one certainly won't. It would be fine to put your all over base color but really nothing else so make sure you have a good set if you're going to get this.

I'm going to try to upload a swatch picture with this but my last attempt failed so forgive me if it doesn't work! (If it does, I know they are light, but I went over these a bunch of times - they are just that sheer)
