Quick Take: good value
I am fairly new tarte, and I'm in love with the amazonian clay products! The eyeshadows are super soft, with plenty of pigmementation, the only drawback isthey are super powdery, so just a stroke of your eyeshadow brush will result in extra product coming up, but I just blow the excess away-not a biggie. It's better if you tap lightly than drag on the eyecolor.
The bronzer is excellent. The full size lip pencil color is cute and girly. It does have some glittery sparkle to it. The eye wand is great for on the go. The mascara is a good size to try, but there are other brands that do a better job. Finally the eye pencil. This was a huge dissapointment for me. After twisting up, it clumped off. I twisted up again, tried to glide it on my eye and another little clump fell, mind you I only twisted a tiny bit to avoid product breaking. This happened while trying to apply to both eyes. Then I tried to glide it on my hand, but it also broke off into little tiny stumps.. This must of been a bad batch.
Other than the eyeliner, everything else is an absolute treat! This would make a great gift!

Quick Take: good value
LOVE the mascara and eye shadows. The lip gloss was a little too sparkly for me. The bronzer is nice but my brush fell completely apart the first time I used it. The clutch is super cute and the luminizer want and eye liner are ok. I really wish Tarte gave some instructions on how to use this stuff that came with the products.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
I really love this set. The brush is convenient but too small and slightly harsh. The mascara is perfect...the quad is te most versatile, good quality, convenient....the power is awesome! i use it as a finishing powder when im really tanned or just a powde...the lip color is abolutely gorgeous...the liner is only ok...not a big fan...

This was a great way to try a lot of Tarte products and also makes for a great gift. The highlighting wand is awesome and so is the lip tint. It gives you a very nice sheen glistened look. Eyeshadows are great for work and the eyeliner is a nice bonus. Tarte has the best sets so keep them coming!!

The kit is awesome well worth for the price. It is a great way to try a few different products for a great price. The only down side is the brush is too small but you can apply the finishing powder with any brush.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
love the variety and mix of full and deluxe size products. the setting powder was a great find and of course i love their eyeshadows. sadly the kabuki brush is very little but i appreciate the effort :) plus a full size lipsurgence lip tint makes this kit really good. please see video for swatches (it is a re-up because i had to move channels). :)

Great set with minor dislikes

Quick Take: good value, travel size
Travel size brush: Cute, but too small and I found it a bit inconvenient to apply the finishing powder. Just way too smalll.
Mascara: A lot of people love this mascara, but I thought it was okay. I much prefer Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara. Also, as the description already says, there's not all that much to use.
Eye shadow quad: By far the best thing about the set. Very pigmented and easily blend-able. The gold and purple look amazing together.
Lip luster: not much color to it, but very glossy and "sparkly". Very hydrating, but I mostly prefer color and this barely leaves any on the lips.
Luminizing wand: This one was tricky for me. I found it VERY hard to blend into my skin, but once done it looked great and natural.
Eye pencil: I love this eye pencil. Perfect for the inner eye rim (actually what it's for) and color glides with little to no tugging.
Purple clutch: very cute and was amazed at the overall quality. It doesn't look or feel cheap. I use it to store make up, etc.
Finishing powder: I LOVE this. I mostly love that it's buildable, but beware, if applied too much you can look overly tan! I mostly just do one sweep and it's just the perfect amount for me :)

Overall, I don't regret purchasing this as I got to try some tarte products I've been eyeing for a while and ended up absolutely loving the eye pencil, the eye shadow quad and the finishing powder. I wouldn't repurchase the others.

Quick Take: natural
beautiful set! the lip luster is quite sheer and has a bit of shimmer. my lips are naturally pink which skews any color i layer onto it, so the lip luster may appear more pigmented on another person. i also don't normally like shimmer, but this was fairly subtle and it helped moisturize my lips too.
i did get a little annoyed by the powder. the hole is so tiny that it takes a while to get any of the product out. the tinting is natural and easy to blend in.
i'm not sure what to do with the brush since it's so small. i guess it would be good for travel, but it's not something i would use at home.
the pouch is a nice throw-in. it holds much more than the contents of the set.

Quick Take: good value, young, fresh, quality
I have to start off with how pigmented these eyeshadows are. I've seen some negative feedback with Tarte and their pigmentation. Let me tell you I've never been more impressed. I swipe one time with an eyeshadow brush and it covers my entire eyelid. I know that sounds outlandish, but that's 100% the truth. I LOVE THEM!. The brozer is also really great. I have fair skin and bronzers can go very dark on me very quickly. This one allows you to build. It goes on as a nice "I was in the sun for a few minutes" and can layer to a "I got my tan on and you can tell." It is never orangy or fake looking though which I very much appreciate. I love the Lip Luster color. The glitter is too much for some people. but I'm pro glitter. The eyeliner I could take or leave. I do it on my aterline only and this isn't really made for that. The shimmery wand gives a really nice glow. Plus the clutch is super cute. I take it out for a night on the town. It fits everything.
It's a must buy. Such a great deal for great quality!

One of the best sets I've ever purchased! Normally I never wear bronzer, so I was apprehensive about this one, but it is fantastic-it adds the perfect amount of sun-kissed to my complexion. The lip stick is a great natural lip, also nourishing and layers well. I love the luminizer and the eyeshadows (all in great colors and long-wearing). Mascara is average but still good, pencil does okay, but could be darker. Overall, a FANTASTIC value and many great products.

i have wanted to try Tarte forever. This stuff is amazing, beautiful, and with such staying power. This kit is perfect for all round use and pretty sure could benefit anyone. An extra, is made from good stuff and the price is right. Thank you for this product.

The eyeshadow colors are neutral and look good on anyone as well as the lip color. I was surprised at eh soft neutral color, it smelled good and was moisturizing. I'm not sure what to do with the pink highlighter. everything else is good.

Quick Take: good value
The bag is cute and high quality. Gloss tastes minty and feels nice. The bronzer was invisible, even though I have light skin. Tried layering it and still didn't show up. Eye shadows so-so, prefer UD for intensity and staying power. These just don't pop. The mascara dries out quickly, have not used the highlighter, brush, or eye liner. Highlighter too much shine for me, don't think this would look right and it seems to come out of the applicator quite freely. The eye liner appears to stay on well, as I did apply a small line on my hand and rubbed it, it didn't budge.

I got this for my niece's 15th birthday. She wasn't allowed to wear makeup before turning 15 and it was a great starter for her and made an excellent gift. She loved it:) (and I kind of wished I had one for myself!)

Quick Take: good value
Though I don't use all the products in this set, I thought it was well worth the cost. I love love love the lip tint, eyeshadow, and bronzer. Those were the big winners for me and I use them all every day. The brush was lame, the mascara was average. The eyeliner is so tiny it takes forever to actually get it to show up. The highlighter pen dries a bit too fast and I'm not very good at using it. I do like the clutch itself, pretty but sort of a neutral purple, which is nice. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, even if I don't love everything in the set.
