Although more $$ than I'd like to spend these are great products that have don't wonders for my dry & fine hair. My hair is much softer, shinier and has less static fly-aways than before I used it and it doesn't make my hair weighted down nor greasy. And it smells amazing, too!

Quick Take: good value
You'll notice a difference after the first try. My daughter and I have fine/fragile curly hair that breaks very easily. We've gone through 2 of the trial-size kits and are amazed! It really stops the shedding and breakage. Smells amazing! We are hooked.

Finally my hair doesn't fall out everywhere! Smells good, and feels good, down fall the price, can't always spend 90 dollars on hair products... :-( back to my drug store shampoo and my hair falling out... Next time I have the money ill most def get it tho!!!! :)

Quick Take: rich hydrating moisturizing fragrant
This was my first time using the Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing products. I didn't hate the products, but I personally wasn't wowed. It worked extremely well at hydrating my processed hair (especially used in conjunction with Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist) and making it baby soft. However, I couldn't go more than a day without washing it again because it felt heavy and built up. Perhaps if you have EXTREMELY dry, crunchy hair, this may work very well for you. For me, it was a little too much.
The set is so perfect for travel though! That little mask will last you several uses. Very rich.

I am a hard case - extremely dry with lots of damage. I was desperate when I found this. I had six inches of blonde hair cut off but still: split ends! What a change. This is really helping me. I can actually wash and go for the first time ever without looking like "white trash."

I have been hunting the drug store for EVER. it fix my hair to no prevail. im mad that i spent so much wasted money (ESPECIaLLY being a mom,) ... i finally crunched under my naturally dry straw like hair. I went sephora last tuesday and asked to try this deep conidioner and it was 42 dollars so i got a sample. It did nothing. So today and my way out of my job interview, which i got btw, i got this set to try. I got home and tried it. I kid you not, my hair is in perfect condition after one use. The smell is a strong, beautiful gardenia. It is just undecribable. Plus, the starter set is amazingly cheap. I would give it a whirl. :)

Perfect for shine and anti-frizz

I already have very healthy hair but because it's coarse and wavy, I'm constantly striving to get it the moisture it needs to keep it smooth without making it greasy. The Monoi collection seems to do the trick. It's rich and creamy allowing my hair to relax naturally. After use, my hair is soft, shiny and manageable. And the scent is lovely and natural without being overpowering.

Quick Take: drying, dulling
I recieved this product as a free sample kit with a promo code a while ago. i actually got two of these free sets, they are now sitting in my boyfriend's bathroom as a backup shampoo/conditioner.
The Good- It smells nice, lathers okay.
The not so good - This is a very drying hair product set. I used the shampoo and then the deep conditioning masque. After my hair felt brittle , dull, and dry.
I would not recommend this to someone.

It was a good product, but it just wasnt for me. It smells amazing, like great, and it did make my hair strong. But it made my hair a bit tangly, and fo some reason a bit harder to manage. Great product overall, but just didnt like it for my hair

Quick Take: good value, smells nice, drying
I love the monoi split end sealer but this trio for me is a miss, I tried it twice now and it is just so drying in my hair. and leaves my hair frizzy, it smells great. dosent make my scalp itch. I will use it up because I love carols daughter and hate returning things. I use it when I want extra volume and then I put some dry oil to tame the frizz and flat iron and im good to go. 2 stars because the smell and it dosent irritate my scalp. If you have dry hair or ethnic hair, curly hair. I suggest trying one of the different lines. I love the black vanilla line.

I give this product one star because it's not possible to give any less. I had been using a drug store product without issue but after hearing the rave reviews about Carol's Daughter I decided to give it a shot. I have chemically treated hair that was easily managed with the drug store brand but this trial pack made my hair dry, difficult to untangle, and prone to breakage. At first I thought I had done something wrong because I had heard so many great things about Carol's Daughter so I used it a second time to the same awful result. Maybe this product isn't for permed hair.

Products live up to the hype

I'm always very skeptical of claims for hair care products, I find they don't do what they say. After a few weeks using this line, I noticed a major difference, my hair was much softer and more sleek. I would agree with another post, the conditioner doesn't do much, the hair mask can replace the conditioner easily and probably is what does the job anyway. To me, this smells like jasmine, it's really nice! Although the starter kit is small, you definitely get more than a couple of uses out of it. I only wash my hair every 2-3 days though, but with that, it should last at least 3 weeks. A little goes a long way with this, especially the hair mask. A few other people posted that it weighed down the hair, so I used just a bit to avoid that, it seemed to work just fine. I will definitely be buying these items again, although likely the larger sizes. It is a bit pricey for the starter kit, but for me, these products were new, so it was a good intro.
