Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, volume, defines curls made with an iron, fantastic, good for straight hair
I don't know why, but this product takes my thin straight hair & adds volume as I blow dry AND gives me natural even curls when I use my iron. I got this as a deluxe sample, and believe this to be a lifetime product for my hair. It is that fabulous!

I really wanted to like this stuff. I was looking for a product that would eliminate the frizz in my frizzy, wavy, colored hair and was advised to try this stuff by a Sephora rep. This stuff smells great and smoothed out my hair, but it weighed my hair down and made it look greasy by the end of the day. I think is a good product, just not for my hair type. I took of a star because of how it made my hair feel heavy, and another star because of how it made my hair look greasy.

Quick Take: lightly scented pleasing
This product smells great but is pretty average as far as smoothing/heat protecting creams go. I like that the ingredients are natural for the most part and it DOES reduce frizz- even when I let my hair air dry. It also keeps my wave/curl nicely. I have yet to try it with my flat iron, but I'm optimistic.

This stuff is frickin' amazing! I've been doing my blow-outs myself because of my crazy work schedule, and this has been my saving grace. I put a little on while my hair was still damp, and my blow-out turned out AWESOME. And more than the wonderful way this product works is the smell! This smells so good- unbelievable!

Like some other reviewers, I got this as a sample at my last sephora visit. I was a bit of a skeptic, as I have tried products like this in the past, and never find them all that useful. My hair is thick and long, and layered with a lot of texture in the front. After I blow dry, which is everyday, my hair get frizzy. But! with this product, my hair is smooth and silky even after sweating a lot in yoga and putting it in a pony tail. My hair looks a lot healthier and seems to even hold the style a bit better. I will be buying this when the sample is gone, and would like to try more CD products!

Received free sample with our last visit to the store and fell in love with it. My hair is semi-course and frizzes easily. Chocolat is the first blow drying aid I've tried that truly works to smooth the hair and it really does last - without flaking. LOVE IT!

I love this stuff! I am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. I have mid-back length hair with about three inches of natural hair at the roots. A dime sized amount worked wonders. My hair came out so silky and swingy and it smelled delicious. I am definitely adding this to my list of staple products. I think you would be pleased with this product as long as you follow it's directions and just use a teeny amount. A little goes a long way.

Quick Take: easy to use
I really like this product except for the fact that by the second day my hair seems kind of greasy. I would definitely recommend not using any more than a dime size (the recommended dose on the bottle) as it is very thick so i can see how it can make hair too greasy and weighed down. What I noticed the most is that with my mostly straight hair, it really tames the little frizzies that kind of fly around the outside ad tops of my hair. I'm guessing these are showing up more with age and also years of flat ironing, and this product really keeps them in check. I didn't notice any extra greasiness after the first day and my hair is very fine but I have a lot of it, so it tends to get weighed down easily by products. It also smells nice. I am definitely considering buying the full size ( i got the sample size with my 100 points free gift thingy at the register).

This is hands down, the BEST straightening cream I have EVER used!! And I have used them ALL!! It smoothes your hair, adds body, keeps it straight ALL day and the best part, it doesn't weigh it down! I have fine hair and all these products weigh my hair down and make it so greasy. This does no such thing! AMAZING!!!

I got this on a whim with my 100 pts. Wow! It makes my hair shiny, glossy, thicker. I have medium weight brunette hair that is dyed every 5 weeks with a "temporary" dye. The color of my hair looks better too! I was AMAZED. A dime size is all I need and I blow dry my hair. It seems to build up so after 3 days of use, I skip a day (I wash my hair every day). Again, I was amazed by this product. I have since brought a full size version of it.

Quick Take: non-sticky, easy to use
I got this as a deluxe sample and love it. Use just a small amount, rub between hands well, and then work it into wet hair. Blow dry with a large round brush and I get the same result as if I had a blowout at the salon. I have thick, wavy black hair that is unruly if I don't style it. This product is just awesome. I also noticed that I can go longer between shampoos while using this product.

I really wanted to give this zero stars. I received this as a sample. I have frizzy wavy/curly hair and this did nothing to help. I used the suggested amount and it somehow seemed like I had both too much and not enough of the product in my hair at the same time. It also caused my hair to become matted. Thank god I did not spend money on this, it is the worst hair product I have ever used.

I've tried for years many types of hair product in all forms including oil, creme, mousse and serum. Finally, this is the one that makes my natural medium curl/frizz dry straight and stay that way- even if it rains! Truly unbelievable. I got this in the bonus sample size and immediately bought the full-size so I can save the sample for travels.

Quick Take: light smells good & works
I really like this cream. I have extremely coarse, thick wavy hair. I had been getting the Brazilian Blowout every 12 weeks to keep the frizz down. I cut my hair a LOT shorter, but it still gets "big". When I tried this cream, I really liked it. It doesn't take a lot & my hair does NOT feel sticky or weighed down or gunky. My building I work in has between 50-70% humidity all the time. you never know how it will be, but my hair doesn't get big when I use the Chocolat Blow dry cream. I recommend it!

I have fine, straight hair that I blow dry every day, and sometimes curl, and it can frizz out on me with all the heat. I have been using the sample size I got with my beauty rewards and have been pleasantly surprised at how it keeps my hair looking smooth and shiny after I style it. (Love the smell too!)
The directions say "dime size amount", and they're not kidding - any more and it weighs my hair down. I experimented, and it works best if I apply when my hair is wet so I can work it through more easily.
