You can use the pen side as a liner or a lipstick. Then put gloss over if you want to. Very moisturizing.

Dyani & Rosey

I have this in Dyani and really like it. It's super-pale on me, even a shade or two lighter than my natural lip at times, and a really nice neutral - my usual problems with neutrals involve too much orange or too much grey-cool-deadface on the other end of the spectrum. This is a very nice balance, without being really PINK.
I bought Rosey hoping for a repeat performance in a darker shade - going for something like the Sandalwood colors in MUFE, but in this nicely more moisturizing product. WOW, not it! On me, Rosey is very pink and very orange - almost the exact color of a free gift lipstick from long ago that was a dress-up toy for me as a kid because the color also looked terrible on my mother. Visualize the early 90s - Saved by the Bell, perhaps.
That said, my skintone has been known to turn utterly not-orange lip shades to tangerine once on my face, so take my critique with its requisite grain of salt.

the lipliner portion split with hardly any pressure. It keeps doing it, so I am quite disappointed. I do however like the colors and the texture of the lip/gloss combo.

Perfect Pink, Long Wearing, Moisturizing

I have always admired the cover looks of Sandra Bullock, particularly her lipstick. I could never find the perfect pink...until now! Pink Peony is it! My lips look naturally flushed and sort of like a baby's pout. It's moisturizing and natural, so I don't need to feel like I have compromised my health for vanity's sake. I tuck this in my wallet's coin zip so I carry a healthy-natural look all day. The lipstick texture is dense, not sheer, so if you want the sheer look, you put on the gloss.

Quick Take: very easy to throw in your purse, gloss was really nice
I ordered the peony. Don't like the lipstick color, but I like the gloss. I'm keeping it because it works well enough together. I think if I ordered again, I would buy a darker color. The lipstick part also detached from the holder pretty quickly. This seems to be a problem I have with several brands (including Tarte - a brand I love). Maybe it is just me but honestly, I'm not that hard on my stuff!

Love, love, love this product. It goes on smooth and buttery and the color is rich and pigmented. The only complaint is that it does not last very long after application. However, really mosturizing and beautiful.

I love the color, although not as deep as I had hoped, but it's going back. It's very moisturizing and my lips feel great but like all lip glosses on me- it lasted all of 5 minutes. If it had a little more staying power I'd buy every shade. :(

I love the color ( I think its peony) and the fact that I have a lipstick AND gloss in one. Super hydrating and the color looks as though I had a pink-toned popsickle and kept the color and moisture on my lips. Very youthful tone. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this particular product.

I have been using the Josie Maran lip/cheep stain magic marker in flamenco as my every day color for a while and I love the bright pop of color and how long it lasted. But I recently started a job that requires a slightly toned down, more demure look so I picked up this lipstick/gloss combo in Dyani. And I gotta tell you...I am so in love with the color and the creamy application. Dyani is very ladylike and the gloss is not sticky at all, just shiny and long lasting. Even when I'm in a rush in the morning it's a breeze to put on and I only need to reapply after lunch. I still wear my flamenco marker lip stain for a night out but this is the ultimate daytime color.

I just picked up the Dyani and Happy today and am going back to Sephora to pick up the other 2 colors tomorrow. If you like a nude lip, you can't go wrong with the first 2. I'm actually going to pick up extras in case they ever run out in the store. It's like cashmere on your lips! So hydrating and your lips feel plump without feeling sticky. I also like the fact that it's natural.

I wrote a review on this a few weeks ago but apparently because it wasn't the greatest of reviews Sephora removed it??? I went back to the product to see if anyone else had written a review and noticed mine was gone. So I am going to write it again. I waited a long time for this product to come to Sephora and it was just okay. I wouldn't necessarily buy it again. I was also surprised that the Rosey was more brown than rose.
