Quick Tan
-05.03.13
I really love the quick tan because of the bronzing gel. Gives a nice dark color. The only drawback is its a little hard to get off of your hands before they stain and it takes a while to dry. I have tried every self-tanner because I an prone to skin cancer and this is one of my favorites!!!

BEST self tanner I have ever used!!!!!!!!!
-04.08.13
Goes on already brown and immediate results follow. Dries quickly, lasts long and comes off gradually and evenly ( no blotches). It doesn’t even have the awful self-tanning smell. I used Clarins and other expensive self-tanners, they do not compare to this one, trust me. This is the product I will be purchasing forever. !!!!!!!!!!!!

AWFUL, BLOTCHY
-04.08.13
I tried this self tanner this morning and it was the worst self tanner I've ever used. It was very streaky and blotchy and didn't rub in well at all. I had to scrub my face to remove it and I will never use this kind again.

Worst

I've been using drug store brand self tanning products for years and have recently begun to indulge in some higher end products. At $35 I figured this stuff was going to be great. Wrong. It is by far one of the worst self tanning formula I have used! It is almost impossible to rub on. I had to add a moisturizer to get it to blend on smoothly without a ton of crazy streaks all over. Kinda stressful, annoying and tiring for my arms! :( I returned it. Maybe a different formula from this brand would go on better. As far as the color I didn't notice a more natural look as I have heard other people say. It look like a typical self tanner color.

the BEST!
-09.09.12
I love everything St Tropez. I had been using the Mousse and just decided to try this. I LOVE IT. The bottle of mousse lasted me two months, so once I run out of this I'll decide based on how long this tube lasts of which one I will buy next. But right now, I prefer the gel! It has a great brown color, goes on super smooth and dries quickly! The Mousse took a while to rub in, and the gel seeps in much quicker but not too quick!
It's great. If you like St Tropez, you should try this!!

What a mess!!!
-07.17.12
Quick Take: messy, stains
This self tanner CANNOT be used without gloves, it is hard to apply around hands and feet, and even worse then staining my hands.....I spilled a little on top of my ceramic toilet seat, and it is still stained 3 weeks later. Not even bleach cleaner will remove the stain! Will NEVER use again!!

wow
-07.16.12
Quick Take: long lasting, moisterizing, great coverage
Love a gel tanning product. This was so amazing...My skin felt so supple and moisterized with a natural tan look to it. I've used a lot of self tanners now that I'm no longer a bathing beauty and I just love using this as my moisterizer after each shower. I found that starting sparingly and building on tan works best for me.

Self Tan Bronzing Gel
-07.16.12
I loved this product! Unlike every other self tanner I have tried, this one did not smell, leave streaks or turn orange. It was very easy to apply, even easier with the tanning mit. I will use this product again & again - a beautiful tan with none of the skin cancer worries - it's a win-win situation!!

This St Tropez Gel is amazing. I found it so easy to use and apply. No streaks and no funky smell like other tanners. This is a definite favorite for me and such a pretty color no orange in site.

Quick Take: fantastic!!
I’m usually terrified of using self-tanner (I’ve had really bad experiences before), but I figured I give it one more try, because I had a wedding I was going to in Florida and I looked like I hadn’t seen the sun in years! This is by far the best self tanner I’ve ever used- I never write reviews, but I had to for this product, after all of the bad experiences I had! It was the most natural looking color (not orange at all), it was easy to apply and it was not streaky. I also found it to me very moisturizing, which I feel like most other self-tanners are not and it had a pleasant smell. Overall, a GREAT product, I will totally buy again and have recommended it to several of my friends who also love it!!

I own several St. Tropez products and this one is just as great as the rest. As a Florida girl who moved to NYC a few years ago it was hard for me to keep up a tan but this gel gives me the best tan I've ever had, leaving me perfectly bronzed, not orange. It dries quickly and doesnt smell fake like other self-tanners I've tried. I would recommend it to anyone!

yuck
-07.09.12
I went out and bought this product, and used it that night.
When applying it was very sticky, and did not dry even after an hour. After a while it started to clump together. if you would rub it in any way it would all clump up into little balls. I ended up washing it off after a couple hours. It did give me a little color, but it stained the place you would normally shave your legs. So, now it looks like I have chicken skin. I am worried what it would have done if I had left it on. I do not recommend this product. I am going out to buy the St.tropez mouse. I have heard it is much much better.

Blech!!
-06.27.12
Quick Take: thick doesn't absorb well
I love all of the St.Tropaz products I have tried but after the sales woman said that the gel was soooo much better then the mousse I decided to give it a try. Well, let's just say it's going back tomorrow. It's way too gloppy and thick, very hard to apply, it is very sticky still after an hour of application and it has settled into creases and is starting to gum up, Do yourself a favor and use the mousse...it's wonderful!!

Challenging application
-06.24.12
Quick Take: streaky
I have been a loyal devotee of St. Tropez for years so when I saw this product I was excited to give it a try. Wrong, what makes St. Tropez so unique is their amazing color guide that gives off a greenish cast but produces a lovely realistic tan. This was thick, gloopy, hard to apply and turned me orange. I have not had a self-tanning mishap since I began using St. Tropez about ten years ago so back this went and I repurchased my beloved mousse formulation. Save your money.

Love the brand...HATE this product!!!
-02.24.12
Quick Take: uneven, sticky, hard to use, waste of money, just plain horrible
I have used St. Tropez for years and love the brand. The color is always brown, not orange, and the smell is the best I've ever had for self tanners. THIS product, however, was a complete fail. The gel is very thick, making it difficult to spread evenly - it felt like a cardio workout trying to get it on. If you don't rub it in enough, of course it ends up streaky, but if yoiu rub this one too much, it starts rolling off. I look like I just rolled in a mixture of half dirt, half mud, and the stuff is so sticky my pants are sticking to my legs, even though this stuff should be dry by now. And putting baby powder on top isn't helping either. If you are looking for a good one, try the St. Tropez Lotion or aerosol.
