MESSY MESSY MESSY but good color and coverage

Quick Take: messy, does not last like lotion does
I wish i could say this was as user friendly because I like the color, ease of application but the over spray made a huge mess of my bathroom. There was brown over spray all over my white counters and cabinets. I should also say that one can was about one application so it is not the best value but I was willing to pay for the convenience. It certainly was not convenient cleaning up the mess so it kind of negated the convenience idea. I use the lotion regularly but will NOT buy this spray. I expected it to be more directed and it was kind of like hairspray, in the air everywhere. Bummer!

Awesome quick fix

Quick Take: gradual, long lasting, quick fix, not orange
So, working on a cruise ship, you'd think I'd be tan year round. But in fact, working 8-15 hours a day prevents me from laying out... So, in a quick fix, I tried this for my legs to get a shade darker. Spray, then use the mitt to wipe smooth. It was dry within a minute and I was able to put on clothes and go to work without much smell of fake color. And as a bonus, it made my small spider veins appear less noticeable.. as does being tan but it's still a nice fact. Doesn't appear blotchy or orange when you do it with care and use the mitt. And for a pale blue eye, strawberry hair - it was buildable and still looked authentic. I'd be worried if it rained but it looked fabulous for the night.

Quick Take: easy, fake-n-bake, great coverage
I absolutely adore this product. I don't always have time to go to the tanning bed, so when I start to lose color, this product virtually looks like I went anyway! I'm not big on "fake-n-bake" but this product has definitely got my vote!

Quick Take: not up to st. tropez standards
I have tried numerous self tanners and the St. Tropez products and have been the most natural looking options for my fair skin. This product is the exception. It came out dark gray when I sprayed it on my leg. I immediately washed off my leg and returned the tanner to Sephora. They graciously gave me a refund. Thank you Sephora!

I have tried all of the st tropez line and this smaller bottle of the legs spray makes me the darkest the fastest. I use less product and it gives me the most color. I use it on my face too. I love it.

St. Tropez No-No

Quick Take: not worth it
I don't suggest this tanning spray for light complexions. I am very fair...or shall I say- "white" : ) ....and it took the whole can for one application. I had to rub it in and it came off with the least bit of moisture. This is the only St. Tropez product that I have tried, so I can't say whether or not this would be the same result for their other tanning products. The good side to this product is that it does give a good, rich brown-tan color-not orange whatsoever. I ended up returning this product...and as always, Sephora granted me a full refund-due to their awesome return policy. If you don't like something...take it back and they will refund you in the same way you paid for the item. After visiting Sephora, I don't see myself stepping a foot into another beauty empire quite like theirs. LOVE Sephora and all of her goodies! Thanks for reading!

Sub par St Tropez product

While St. Tropez over does produce a 'close' to natural looking tan, products like this one with TINT hurt the quality of it.
The combination of aerosol with a built-in TINT, means it will run out after both legs are applied plus you will need to
remove the massive tint a few hours later.

Stiick with the Gradual St. Tropez products, (moose and gel are best) that you will need to appply about 2 times a week, but which DONT have this nasty tint, which can stain & ruin cloths and is just a general complete mess on your body.
A thin layer should be applied a single time to the skin, wait
from 3-6 hours to remove excess with cotton swab and alcohol. If you are getting too tan then remove beofre 3 hours, if not let it go a few more. They wont tell u this on the label. Removing it, takes a bit of the 'tan' away but leave a much more natural looking on in the end.
I have found from experience, that the day after you have applied the product and got a base tan you should go into the sun for 15-30min, to create a more geniune tan.
(the sunless product will aid u in getting this!)
A low SPF may be a good idea as well.

love St. Tropez but not this one

Quick Take: not my favorite st. tropez product
St. Tropez is my favorite sunless tanner but this one was runny and ended in the bottom of the tub not so much on my legs. I much prefer the mousse and the new lotion is wonderful.

The product did not last very long at all, just a couple days for the whole can. It did dry fast, which is a positive, so I didn't have to wait long before getting dressed. The color was only so-so, and if it was srayed on too heavy in one area (user error) it was hard to blend it in.
