A great deal

I got this item on clearance and figured it would come in handy for travel or a back-up lash curler as I had recently bought one from Shisheido. The worst reviews I read indidcate the color was not what was expected. I didn't really care about the color as that is not what's important to me in a lash curler. However, the color really isn't bad. I like that fact that it's different from the standard black you see on most of them. The grips are comfortable, and the curler is wide enough to curl all lashes at once, which I love. I am not disappointed at all in this purchase, and it was a great deal.

Quick Take: great curler, nice color
I absolutely LOVE this eyelash curler. It does a great job at grabbing my lashes from the root and curling. I got this on sale for $5! So worth it!!! I actually really like the matte burnt orange it is. That was a selling point! :D

So cute. Iver never used eye lash curlers before. So its taking me a little time to get use to them. But so far so great. Also comes with a pretty good case to keep it. And extra pad for it.

The girls at the store said it was just the regular Sephora brand curler, just in a new color. It's engraved at the top of the curler 'sephora x pantone universe' which is the greatest combo for a designer/makeup lover. The inner lining of the curler and the rubber replacement tips ARE a bright neon orange, but the curler is a different darker shade. It looks the same in person than in the photo to me. The package is really fancy looking, and it curls my lashes well. So really the whole fuss is to get a pantone item, but if you want pink or green-go with the regular sephora curler.

Agreeing with the others--the color isn't that pretty. In the picture it looks like a brilliant tangerine but in person it basically looks like burnt sienna. The other colored lash curlers by Sephora (pink, purple, green, blue) are much more fabulous. Skip this burnt sienna curler and buy one of the other ones instead.

I have to say I was very disappointed with the color of this curler. I was expecting a vibrant tangerine color, but instead received a flat rusty reddish brownish color. Sephora and Pantone definitely missed the mark with this product. The curler itself worked well. It was pretty stiff, but I would expect that with any brand new pad in an eyelash curler. I previously was using a shu uemera curler, and I would say the curling effect is comparable. I did exchange this for the regular sephora brand curler. I am much more pleased with the green color I ended up with, not to mention the regular sephora curlers have a metallic shiny finish, unlike this one that was flat and muddy-ish.

Quick Take: not the color i expected
Returning the eyelash curler, I had really hoped this eyelash curler was a vibrant Tangerine like the actual Pantone Collaboration Color "Tangerine Tango". This is a very dark burnt orange color and it is not very flashy or pretty. It comes off like a dark burnt orange shade. The pads for the lash curler (and the replacement pads) are the only part of the curler that was the color I expected.

disappointing color

Quick Take: odd color
I purchased this yesterday during our local store's VIB event and, after trying it out, realized that it's not the eyelash curler for me. The pads are too rigid and I prefer a curler that has a spring action that opens the "jaws" after you release it.
This is all just personal preference, but I do want to add that the color of this item is NOT "vibrant" as described. The silicone pads are bright, but the curler itself is an odd matte pumpkin/rusty color that seems muddier than the other Tangerine Tango items in the line. Not a deal breaker, but not as expected either.
