Quick Take: fancy
i bought this for my daughter and she loves it! It looks great in her thick, dark hair. She gets many compliments. It isn't a barrette, it is more like jewelry for your hair. Very nice, especially for the sale price.

This cclip is so great and especially for its price ($5). Its cute and it holds very well. the feathers should stay inn nunless you pull on them. the black jewel adds a nicce touch. this is the perfect accesory for school or a dday out. i wish they had it in more colors. thisclip is more for younger people though like teens and early 20s.

Quick Take: bright, simple, elegant
This clip is super cute and easy to use (of course). It seems to be constructed very well, as I leaned my head back against the car seat for a while and walked in light rain, but the feathers didn't get messed up at all.
I wore it with the eyeshadow from the Sephora+Pantone Color of the Year Palette and a red lip stain for a night out with my boy :)

Other than the feathers getting a little wonky after the first wear, I really like this. I have long, thick, curly hair and this grabs hold and doesn't let go. The color was more flattering than I expected.

Quick Take: fun and funky!!!
In addition to the other feather's I have in my hair this is easy to attach and goes great with everything!!! I can wear my hair up or down so it is very versatile. Please make more colors!!! I would be in heaven!!! I would love to see it made in aqua, hot pink, etc!!!

Quick Take: high quality, sturdy, bright, elegant
Well made, with a very balanced symmetrical shape and a nicely finished, hard, fabric-covered backing between the feathers and the hair clip. The orange is vivid and saturated, but is balanced out well by the darker base color of the feathers, so it's elegant rather than loud. Lightweight but sturdy; feels like it will last a few years with careful use. The jeweled accent is convincingly the color of smoky quartz, although of course it's obviously plastic if you look closely. Definitely a higher quality than most of my other feathered hair accessories.
My one complaint is that it uses an alligator clip, which I find a little bit awkward to use. The end you press to open it is right under the jeweled accent, which makes sense for stability, but the clip's spring is fairly strong, so I feel like I have to put more pressure on the faux jewel than I really want to. (We'll see if the glue holds up, I guess.) I also tend to prefer a contour clip on hair accessories like this, but that's a personal preference. (And maybe this one will grow on me.)
Overall, it's worth the sale price, though I would only have paid full price if I'd already had a hairstyle and outfit in mind that demanded I use this exact clip! ;)

It's kind of an awkward length for short hair like mine, but it doesn't look too bad in redtone hair. It was very well made, but just not worth $16. You can find similar products for a fraction of the price elsewhere.
