I exchanged this on the advice of other reviewers; I've been using it for awhile and this tube is much better than the last tube but it still seems to have a tiny bit of grit. However the color is so much better than my last tube! I still like this gloss and I am sure I'll buy again. I purchased in melrose; perhaps next time I should try another color. I strongly suggest you try this out in the store before purchasing although I think Melrose is the only color with the gritty problems.

Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
I previously wrote a review for the color melrose and complained of the grainy texture. Thanks to feedback from other reviewers I exchanged it and my new tube is so much better! the texture is smoother, I love the color and I would probably purchase again! The only thing that takes 1 star away is it is a bit pricey for a lip gloss. But I can now recommend it! I might even try another color! :)

Quick Take: flavored
Well, I bought this and the foundation after the sales gal suggested it. It smells good, the melrose color is pretty and light everyday color, but I dislike the grainy feeling I get when applying. The color doesnt seem to last long either. I have returned the foundation and will be returning this. Not so Perfekt for me

I bought this in Sunset (coral) The color is gorgeous, just the right amount of pop without looking like a lipstick. Unfortunately my tube had the grainy beads others mentioned in it and I had to return it. I received a full refund and the process was very easy. Unfortunately I was not able to get any information regarding when this issue might be resolved.

I saw this in the store and bought it on a whim. I am always in search of that perfect pinky-nude color and Melrose seemed to fit that bill. I do like the mint scent/taste, although I could do without the tingles. The color payoff just wasn't there and after a few applications my lips started to chap. It feels decent on the lips but it did start to cake up on me after I had a sip of water. Plus, it didn't have much staying power. The price is also rather steep for something I feel I could buy at the local drugstore in a tinted lip balm.

I had gotten a sample of this in the mail, and I really loved it. So then I order it in the Coral. not sure what happened, but its cakey, annoying to put on, and it doesn't feel smooth like the sample. I was disappointed. It smells nice because of the mint, but not going to buy this again.

I purchased this product about 3 weeks ago in Melrose and I loved it! Moisturizes and has a hint of color while plumping, it really is perfekt! However, I too had little grainy like beads in my lip gel. I called Sephora and found out that they are NOT supposed to be there and it must have been a bad batch of prodcuts. I returned it for a full refund and am awaiting their new shipment.
For other people who experienced this, just call Sephora and tell them, and they will swap it out for you. When I called, the sales person found out that is was almost the entire batch of the color Melrose that had these beads, so that's why I'm waiting for the new ones to arrive. I think that the Manufactuer sent out a large order of prodcuts to a lot of Sephora stores that were faulty, but the product itself is awesome, so I am giving it another try!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I think the price is a bit much. I know the product is a multi-tasker and provides many different benefits, but I feel it's still kind of expensive. That being said I still advise people to get a sample at least and try it out!

My girlfriend is obsessed with this "Lip Perfection Gel" and she uses it as her lip moisturizer as well as a primer for lipstick when we go out...otherwise she loves the "Melrose" for an everyday look.
As a guy I use the clear, Fountain Lip Perfection Gel which is a great alternative to chap sticks and lip balms that are heavy, pasty and feel gross.
These are a "go-to" gift that my family and little cousins all love to receive.

Purchasing a Melrose & Vine (mix them up - so pretty!) for the second time, and WOW, am I ieven MORE mpressed with the way these babies smooth on, giving some great cover, but not too tacky or sticky. Spearmint fllavor makes it husband-friendly!

I have read some of the reviews that the texture of this product felt grainy?? I don't get it as I have never felt something so wonderful and smooth!! I purchased all shades however my favorite is the fountain/clear. I love the clear on top of my lip stick! A must have!!!

Finally a beautiful colored lipgloss with amazing hydration benefits! I am completely in love with this lip treatment. I have extremely dry lips and always feel like any treatment that is hydrating enough to make a difference, usually has zero color and i end up wearing multiple products on my lips. Per-fekt has solved another one of my problems with their lip perfection gel. Hollywood and Sunset are my favorites when I need a good amount of color and Melrose is the perfect nude. The fresh taste/scent is just an added bonus!

I'm in love with this lip gel. I usually have a terrible time finding a nude lipstick that doesn't make me either look lipless or like I stepped out of 1980, they're generally far too pink, but this shade is wonderful. The gel goes on nice and smooth and makes my lips feel amazing. Love it.

I too had used a sample in melrose and really liked it. I purchased full size in melrose and while I will keep it I won't buy it again. I still like the color and it stays well, non sticky and doesn't dry out my lips. However it has these strange "beads" in it that I find very unpleasant. They go away quickly or I would have returned it but overall it is just fair for the money. I'm not wild about the applicator either. But I do like the lid and again, the melrose is a nice rose color. Just not worth 24 bucks.

This harsh winter has really taken a toll on my skin and even lips. After using perfekt's skin gel, I decided to try out the lip perfection gel. It truly retexturizd my chapped lips and left them feeling smooth. Thanks to lip perfection gel my lips can handle the dry weather!

I just tried per-fekt's lip perfection gel for the first time and now I'm addicted! It keeps my lips feeling silky smooth and the color is amazing. My favorite is the melrose! I also love that it has spearmint and helps with minty freshness! LOVE!

I love the way this feels on my lips... slightly minty and never gunky. Melrose is a perfect match for my lip color so I look like I'm perfect just the way I am. Also the color doesn't run in lip lines ( ugh!)

Honestly I got the sample of this, loved it, bought it, used it, and now I'm really bummed about the product. I bought the color melrose, which is kinda a subdued soft plum, but there's a lot less pigment than I remember from the sample, and if I feel like I've got enough on to see the pigment I remember, I'm wearing WAY too much. The floral applicator tip is rough on your lips, and gets in the way of application. I guess I just expected so much out of this lipgloss because of the price, and it just didn't deliver.
