New Find

Dropped by my local store to pick up my normal moisturizer only to find it back ordered! The sales assistant recommended this one for my dry skin! This is now my new Normal! Love the rich feel and it has made my makeup go on better! Worth the investment!

Quick Take: intensive, effective moisturizer, good for darker skin tones
Deep Moisture Therapy is officially the SH** for ethnic skin.
Use it in the morning after applying toner, and at night after doing a daily peel. I am "de-aging" now.

Very nice cream
-04.29.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
I really like this cream. My skin is dry and I thought I was getting wrinkles (just turned 40), but once I started using this cream my skin looks much smoother. I don't think it smells bad,but it certainly doesn't have a fragrance. I perfer that. It absorbs fairly quickly into the skin and doesn't make the skin greasy.

This is a wonderful product but the smell is horrible. I will not buy it again due to the smell but the product works well. I think if they made a change to it I would buy in the future.

Leaves skin smooth, but overly oily and smells bad
-04.18.13
This cream is hydrating and leaves skin smooth, but it also feels overly oily on my super dry skin and didn't absorb as fast as I'd have liked. It also smells like low tide. I appreciate a brand trying to avoid adding fragrances to a product, but having this level of bad odor in a product is unnecessary and frankly unacceptable. I work for a company that manufactures high end skincare, and I know from experience that there are ways to filter, deodorize and scent a cream so it removes unplesant aromas. We actually manufacture one of the most famous marine based (cult favorite) face creams in our facility, and if you smelled the main ingredient of fermented sea kelp before it was filtered and deodorized, you'd never put it on your face, but the end result is a cream that smells pleasing due to these processes. Dr. Perricone needs to consider taking advantage of some of these processes to aid in the bad smell of some of his signature products.

Great Moisturizer
-04.08.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
This is the best moisturizer I've ever used and I think over the past fifty years or so I have tried them ALL! My skin feels wonderful after I apply it...as if it's just had a long, cool drink of water. And in spite of the fact that it's so rich. It's not the least bit tacky or sticky like some heavy moisturizers are. I hate that it's so expensive, but most good cosmetics are and at least this one is worth every penny!

I have very very dry skin in winter. This does a decent job adding. Sometimes I have to use it more than once a day though.

Quick Take: the worst cream i ever used
if you have oily or combination skin, please, do not use this product! I got extremely bad reaction on my face. Sever reaction, I would say!!! Although I used this brand for a long time, I am not only disappointed with smell & thickness of this particular cream, but now I have to use medicine, prescribed by dermatologist to heal my face skin.... After reaction to this cream I cannot use any cream for months!!! ...

Really nice cream, but...
-02.03.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
Cream is as advertised - hydrating, quick to be absorbed, etc. But the odor is unpleasant. It's unfortunate because I probably won't buy it again as a result.

Give it a shot!
-01.18.13
Quick Take: intensive
Ok, so it smells bad. I don't think it smells worse than the Cold Plasma, though. All of Perricone MD's products are fragrance free, I think. They are very potent and with nothing to cover up the smell of the ingredients you will get a medicinal smell. I gave it a shot anyway and I'm glad I did. I couldn't afford to get a moisturizer and the treatment I had tried in a sample. The salesgirl recommended this as an all in one solution. I was hesitant to spend so much on something I hadn't tried but I am glad I did. It's very heavy and thick but glides on/spreads out easily when applied. I haven't had any irritation on my sensitive skin with rosacea and additional issues from pregnancy. I've used it about 3 weeks now, every other day for the first 2 weeks and now every day as recommended as much as twice a day but not always since I don't always wash it. It seems like it will last a long time. IF it does, I will definately purchase again and I'm looking forward to trying the other Perricone products. They really do provide a visible result.

Skin looks rosier!
-12.31.12
I rarely write reviews but noticed a difference with this product. My skin gained more color and felt smoother. I don't love the smell though, which is the only reason not giving 5 stars. But I keep using the product because it works well.

Eh...
-12.30.12
Quick Take: lightweight, foul-smelling
I was looking for a lip repair product as I suffer with chronically chapped lips. I have honestly spend nearly $1,000 in my lifetime on products to address this. The sales person recommended this cream instead of a lip-specialized product. The results? Really no change. I use it morning and night and haven't seen much improvement. I will continue to use it but will not be buying it again. I would use it on my face however it smells like decomposing fish and is too light for my skin's characteristics. I prefer something thicker and more moisturizing.

I am hooked on Pericone!
-12.24.12
Quick Take: amazing
I started with this moisturizer for under $100 and ended up spending $hundreds on more! I love it! I have only been using the pericone products for a few weeks but the difference is amazing! I have always taken good care of my skin but recently it has been looking dry & dull. These products have completely turned that around! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic
-12.22.12
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
I strongly disagree with the other reviews concerning the "smell" of this product. I do not find it offensive at all and the benefits to my skin have been amazing. I used to use the Face Finishing Moisturizer but found that I needed a more intense product. This is it! Supersize it, please!!!

My favorite moisturizer - ever!
-12.22.12
Perricone products are the standard of perfection, and this moisturizer is my favorite (so far) of all that they offer. You can feel improvement in the condition of your skin on an almost daily basis.

Yuk! smells like fish
-12.12.12
Quick Take: awful, fishy smelling, too thick
I love fish. I even take fermented cod liver oil for health.
But I hate this creme!
I would prefer not to cover my face with ultra thick fish smelling creme.
I returned this to the store.

-12.12.12
This product was recommended by the sales person and she should seek other employment. This pricey product does not moisturize and to make matters worst it smells horrible! The fish oil comments were to nice!! It needs to be taken off the market!!! Can I give 0 stars?

Smells like fish that died a natural death. No better than any other moisturizer, and much more expensive than it should be.

first impression
-11.25.12
Quick Take: disappointing
i just used this for the first time, and I immediately wanted to read some reviews. I thought to myself, "Am I crazy or does this smell like fish skin?!?" I'm not surprised to see other people said the same thing--I wouldn't go so far as to say rotting fish, but fish. Also, it absorbed quickly, but it didn't fully absorb. There's still a residue. It feels heavy, I think I'll save this one for night time use, if I decide to use it again. Right now, I'm pretty unimpressed, so I don't know that I'll bother trying it again.
