Quick Take: hydrating, good for under lip gloss, not good for under lipstick
I like clean, precise lipstick lines, and this primer is not the tool for the job. While my lips felt nourished and moisturized, it smeared and faded my lipstick. If I was a lip gloss gal, I would've kept this primer, but for the high price, it had to be returned.

I find this works best around the perimeter of my lips and not on my lips. I will lightly smooth it out before applying lipstick. (When i tried applying it on the inside edge of my lips, it diminished the staying power of my lipstick. I have a feeling those who didn't like it used it this way.) It's colorless and it really does prevent lipstick from feathering. it's the best i have used. The mint taste is yummy.

Quick Take: hydrating, moist
I have tried Bare Ess. Lip primer, Too Faced, and Urban Decay. All were drying and never felt smooth. This is very smooth and stays moist. Never had a lipstick bleed with this product. I love red lipsticks, they look fresh for hours.

I wanted a primer to make my favorite lipsticks last longer so the sales girl suggested this product says she wears it all time ...well it was absolutely horrible did zero noda nothing I don't know what the sales girl was talking about. It's definitely going back. Women don't waste your money on this product it is useless!

Quick Take: hydrating
I bought this hoping it would keep my lips hydrated, prevent feathering, and help my lipstick last longer. When I use it my lipstick actually smears more and any imperfections (dryness, cracks) are more obvious. I would not recommend this at all.

The best primer ever. I have tried them all, seriously. Lipstick always bleeds or feathers or navigates to around my lips. So frustrating. This is the first product that has prevented this from happening. It has a nice taste and keeps your lipstick in place. No more bleeding or feathering. The lip pencil and lipstick are very very good as well. Love this line.

Terrible. Doesnt really do anything to be honest, probably could just buy off the counter chapstick. It was marketed well though, great big display, as if it was something to buy. But definately, useless...
I wear a lot of lipstick, thinking this would help prime and or keep my lipstick on longer, but most defaintely didnt do that not even to the smallest degree. my lips smear everywhere.

Quick Take: a must for red lipstick wearers!
This really works to keep my uber red lipstick from feathering! It is a little sticky upon application but I guess that is why it works. I for sure recommend for anyone who wears bright lipstick and has trouble with feathering.

Terrible primer, do not recommend

I was recommended this primer by a Sephora representative. This primer does absolutely nothing to keep lipstick on your lips. I use NARS lipstick but I have been on a search for a good lip primer. This primer feels and looks like chapstick and acts like chapstick - nothing else. Don't expect to have long-wearing lipstick with this primer.

I try to wear a red lip everyday... I love it!! A red lip always needs a good liner, not with this product. The primer is moisturizing and feels very good on. My red lip lasted much longer than without this product, and no ring around the mouth!! The fact I don't need a liner as much with this product makes touch ups much easier. 10 out of 10. Already added to my sephora app shopping list so I don't forget how much I love this stuff

I adore this product line. I got a real blue/red lipstick, and I am not that schooled in the art of how to hold it in place (or even apply it well), but I love it even though it travels (teeth, out side lip line, all over my coffee cup). This lil' stick helps w all that, plus I use it w my everyday "sugar" tinted balms. It now lasts much longer. I love this line! (again), it's natural(ish-I guess). Often I'm sicked-out by product smells, or they r drying, or break me out (on lip line, it's gross). Not here!sooo happy!

This primer is wonderful for its price! It smoothes my lips when I apply it, and actually makes the lipstick last much longer than it would without it. You can also tell it lines the lips because when you remove the lipstick at the end of the day, you can still see a bit of lipstick residue on the lining of your lips. I use this product before all of my lipstick applications. It makes me feel a lot more confident knowing the color is actually staying on my lips and not feathering away! Plus the design is so sleek!
