Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
You really want to warm this in your hands first. Unless I got a bad batch. Mine has actual crystals or some kind in it, with sharp edges - they melt when I rub it between my fingers or in the pot, but the one time I forgot and put it straight on irritated skin it hurt a lot.
I was hoping for more - still trying to replace the old Clinique Comfort On Call, something that I can apply to very irritated allergy-prone skin and get relief. Unfortunately this isn't it. It isn't bad, but between the crystalization and a weird almost-minty feeling or scent (like Vicks?) I'm not liking it, and the effects aren't enough to make me like it. My skin isn't irritated by it, but it doesn't feel healed, either. Any heavy duty moisturizer can do that. I'll save this for use on other body parts than my face.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I've been looking for a good alternative to Creme La Mer, and I think I've found it. This is a thick cream balm which I use at night. Warm it up between your fingers and dab onto your face. The result is that it leaves your face dewy feeling, almost like CLM, but for a fraction of the price.

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, flakiness help
The local Santa Ana wind/dry conditions have kicked my allergy prone skin into high gear - this year seems to be the worst in a couple of years. Anyway, I'm going through the welting and peeling cycles and this really help with the peeling. I've been taking it to work with a cosmetic spatula so that when my face dries out and peels en masse, I put a small amount to moisturize the flakes. I really FIB beauty products and this is a quarter of the price of the very expensive La Mer and this works better than that ever did when my skin was acting up like this.
p.s. The other face item that's been helping with my skin freakout is my Clarisonc plus. Really helps clear the flakes and then this moisturizer - has decreased the awful flake period.

I have very dry, dehydrated skin. I have tried a myriad of products including making my own products at home. This is the ONLY facial moistuirizer I have used that has truly helped with the dryness. I can now apply makeup without flakes and dry patches. My skin appears so much smoother, brighter, and hydrated. This has become a staple in my beauty routine!

FIB saves the day once again. Those with dry skin sometimes or all the time need to embrace this product with open arms. Whether its your face or certain parts of your body this FIB product is a wonderful skin-saving addition for your skins hydration needs. I t get really dry at certain times throughout the year at this product is the only one that has healed my skin. My cousin with Eczema also tried it & she loved it. Also, if we need protection against Mother Nature this product will save your skin. FIB products are amazing but this is one of my favorites.

I used to use the regular FAB moisturizer. I came across the brand nearly two years ago during a bout of eczema. It was primarily on my hands and arms but my face was experiencing dry patches and an uneven tone so the I was sold with the dermatologist recommended notation and the colloidal oatmeal - also the ceramides, definitely the ceramides.Then, I left FAB as a customer and decided to go for an all natural skin care routine. Oh gosh. I applaud all those girls who go the crunch route skin wise. I spent three to four months battling all sorts of breakouts from all sorts of different oils - some unsightly rashes too. Then, this concentrate came to my attention. Back in the summer a Sephora associate had told me this would be too heavy for my face. NOT. I started using it last week and my face is 200% better - so much better that people are noticing the difference. My face looks and feels hydrated, it's brighter, smoother and just completely better. I love it. I only have one issue with it - for $28 I wish you were given more. I realize it is a balm so you shouldn't be using copious amounts but it IS winter and it IS dry. I've had it a week and nearly skimmed off the whole top. Once it runs out, I've decided to pair it with the traditional moisturizer as a base and to use the balm in extra dry places. Unless, of course, this balm decides to come in a larger size for a decent price.

I have dry windburned winter skin. It was so painful I could only use warm water to wash it, no facial cleaners. I was using free samples that helped, but didn't cure it. The retail on this product was $100+ per ounce, no way I was paying that on a so-so product. I hesitantly tried this product based on reviews, have used it for 48 hours and my face is 100% better! Only con is it is a little greasy, but if applied at night, it is completely absorbed by morning. Even works on dry cracked, split lips. I am completely impressed with this product.

I get really dry, flakey/scaly on the skin around my mouth and near my eyes, and it gets really painful. This is literally the only thing I've used that a) lasts, b) doesn't clog my pores and c) actually moisturizes. I tried like 10 other products, and they would only last for at the most an hour. Some of them even broke me out. This works. And it's not too expensive, which is awesome.

My skin is ridiculously chapped all winter long with no relief no matter what I use until now. I have sensitive skin and this balm not only moisturizes and protects it eliminated my chapped skin after one use! It it doesn't clog my pores which is an added bonus.

This is the best moisturizer I've found to treat my ultra-dry skin (and I've tried a lot). Virtually no smell, very thick (can be greasy if you have combination/oily skin to begin with), and lasts all night, unlike everything else I've tried. I will buy this for as long as they make it.

I got this product because of excessively dry skin on my face and hair line due to a combination of low humidity, cold temperatures, and an allergic reaction rash that was drying out. I will admit it hydrates but it doesn't seem to last very long. I'm hoping the humidity will come up so I can give this a fair chance. I do know it's no help against my eczema

I am a flip flop girl and with that comes calluses and dry feet. :( At first, I thought this thing was expired because of the texture, but once you scoop a nickel size amount out and used it on my feet = great! It absorbs quickly and my feet were softer after using it in just a couple of days. I swear by this product.
