Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have difficulties with finding lotion that moisturizes my face with out over moisturizing. This lotion has managed to do this the best. My skin tends to be very picky and after a worker at the Sephora store recommended this lotion I was skeptical after trying so many expensive lotions before. My skin seems to do well with this lotion and even seems to clear up my face while not causing it to be overwhelmingly shiny. I have a helathy glow by evening but nothing too severe.

I wanted to do a review on this product (which I never do). I am in love with this creme. As a makeup artist, I ALWAYS receive compliments from clients and it works for everyone with the exception of oily skin. For oily skin clients I tend to place this on and let it sit and then take a damp pad and wipe off the creme. It immediately plumps all skin even sensitive skin. Highly Recommend it! Price is high but worth it.

Quick Take: absorbs quickly
This cream is really great! You only need to apply a small amount. I wear mine at night over my retinol products and it helps to keep my skin from getting flaky. The only negative is the smell. For a face cream, it is really strong. The more you use it though the less you seem to notice it. It's definitely worth trying a sample:-)

I got this as part if a sample set when I cashed in some points - I already had several of Ole's products. This smelled funky but WOW I got AMAZING RESULTS from this little stinky cream. I went back and got the big jar four days later, this stuff is amazing! I wish everyone could just try it, the results are mind blowing. I had these little lines fr smiling - they are GONE! It moisturizers and evens out your skin - you have to see it to believe it!

... I really just did not like this at all. I go to the Sephora near where I work all the time and multiples salespeople have recommended this moisturizer so I finally caved and bought it (despite it being so expensive). I have really dry skin (with an oily T zone) and am also prone to breakouts... this moisturizer didn't help with the former and exacerbated the latter. I didn't feel like this moisturizer really hydrated my skin at all, it felt greasy and like it was just sitting on top of my dry skin without getting absorbed. A few days after I started using this, I started breaking out in places on my face where I don't usually break out (my cheeks, my nose)... I was hoping this would be great but it just wasn't right for me at all.

I received a sample in one of those Beauty tubes. I have used it three times now, and each time my forehead and upper nose were dried out. I think it has to be used with a mousurizer, at least for me. It smells nice, but I don't think I will be purchasing any in the future.

A little bit of this creme is all you need for each application. It gives my dry skin the hydration it needs. I mix it with my Nude ProGenius Oil at night.

I got this as part of The Naked Truth set. While the Truth Serum is very nice, I wasn't very impressed with this creme. I think it has an acquired scent - not like fresh citrus but like "medicine" citrus, if that makes sense. I used this for a few days and while the texture is very nice, it did cause me to break out. I will not be purchasing this in the future.

I have tried a lot of face creams and finally have found one that is just right. It hydrates beautifully, smells divine, and leaves my skin glowing. I have fair skin, combo oily/dry with a bit of rosacea. This product isn't too dry or oily and really makes my skin feel good. A friend kept commenting on how good my skin looked. Could it be the Ole Henriksen Truth Creme? I think it just might be!

Great day time moisturizer

This, coupled with the Truth Serum, is a great purchase. I was looking for something for day time that had Vitamin C in it and had heard great things about the serum from family members and beauty bloggers. I have dry-combo skin and I put this on after cleansing, toning, and then serum. I also use the Josie Maran SPF because SPF is a MUST.
The smell isn't my favorite but it's only noticeable when opening the jar. You do not need more than a dab of this on your face. If you think this smells REALLY bad, then clearly you haven't used smelly products because those last all day. After I apply my foundation the smell is gone.
Overall, this is great under makeup and goes on really well. It leaves skin supple and I have had great results using Ole products.

Can't recommend this enough

I have never written a review before but I just adore this product. I have very issue prone skin that is extremely sensitive & starting to show the first signs of fine lines. While I haven't noticed a reduction in the fine lines, the overall clarity of my skin has visibly improved & my persistent rosacea is amazingly reduced. I love the texture & scent of this as well as how well it moisturizes my skin.

This moisturizer has a lovely texture and does a great job balancing my oily/combination skin. My only real complaint is that it has a terrible medicinal smell that lingers. I haven't decided if I will refill this jar as I am really not fond of the smell.

This product delivers. I've only been using it for a week and my skin is already more even toned and brighter. I was worried about how moisturizing it would be because I went through the tube of the FAB Ultra Repair Cream in 3 weeks. This is moisturizing enough for me. Works great under my foundation. Don't get it in your eyes! It really stings. And the smell is bad, very medicinal. BUT it's worth it. There's a reason why this is Allure awarded and one of Sephora's best sellers -- it really works.

I have tried several other highly reviewed moisturizers for my dry to sensitive skin. Most either do not provide enough moisture or will cause breakouts to my normally clear skin. I can honestly say nothing works as well as this creme. It absorbs nicely and the scent is quite light. I know others comment on the scent, and I am sensitive to fragrance, but this product absorbs so quickly I can wear it without headaches! A little goes a long way!
