I have large pores and fine lines and this peel makes me look like i have niether . I use it at least twice a week and my skin is staying even and youthful. I enjoy it and id repurchase it too

I received a large sized sample of this last summer and must have liked it since I added it to my shopping list. But I recently bought the full size and think it's just so-so. Maybe I'll like the results more during the summer months when I'm out in the heat a lot and my skin gets a bit oily.

Quick Take: exfoliating, makes your skin glow, refreshing
I'm 52 years old. I have a number of different brands of treatments for lines, skin spots, and elasticity. I tried this Murad Vitamin C Peel because I thought it would help refresh my skin. I love this stuff! I use it a couple of time per week after I shower, when my pores have been "opened" by the shower steam. I leave it on for about a half hour, slightly wetting it and re-working it into the skin after about 15 minutes. Then I rinse it off. My skin is AWESOME afterward. So smooth, it's unreal. It feels very clean and look terrific. Then I apply my moisturizer. One tube has lasted me for about 4 months.
For me, it tingles but doesn't sting terribly. My skin is NOT overly sensitive.
I will caution you on something, however. Be very careful using this product if you are already using a strong product that contains acid. It may cause the top layer of your skin to peel off. Yes, it happened to me. I was using a skin lightener that my dermatologist gave me, and it is very strong and contains an acid. I made the mistake of using this Murad peel the next day. And it peeled, alright. It was awful, but thankfully with pure aloe lotion and a few days of TLC, it was OK again.
Now I'm more careful. If I'm going to use the strong stuff that my dermatologist gave me, I wait at least 5 days before using this or any other "peel" product. Being more cautious, it hasn't had any bad results at all. Just makes my skin soft and refreshed and downright glowing (but not in a bad way).
I am starting to run out and am buying another tube. I think this product will be a staple in my facial routine from now on.

if you love vitamin c facials, you will love this treatment! it smells super fresh and citrusy and made my skin glow after just one treatment. i'm not sure how effective it will be at dealing w sun damage but it feels great-- especially bc my skin is sensitive and i can have product allergies!

This is my first ever peel and so far it's okay, it gets rid of any dry patches that I have when I use it but aside form that I don't notice much of a difference in my skin texture or tone. I do like how gentle it is though. I will wait until the end of the tube to decide if it is worth repurchasing.

I've been using this product 2xs week, per the instructions, for 3 wks now. I can see small subtle changes in color and texture. Nothing dramatic. I'm giving it till the end of the tube before I commit to another one. I get slight tingling but no real irritation. I do like the tube vs a jar.

... but I had to for this product. I have it on my face right now! It is amazing- every time I use it, the very next day, someone compliments me on my skin. It smells great, makes me look younger, more awake, revived, it's a miracle product. And it goes a long way!

I love this stuff. I bought the full size after getting a sample ... It's a little pricey but worth it. My skin is a little dry and I have some subclinical acne (lots of tiny bumps) on my forehead... This peel brightened my complexion and began to reduce the bumps in just one treatment. Even though it's winter and my skin can be a little sensitive, this doesn't irritate. It just feels fresh, tingly and wonderfully clean.

Very impressed with this peel! This is not like other at home peels I've tried; the texture is very lotion-like. You massage a thin layer onto your face and let sit for about 10 minutes. I have extremely sensitive skin that is also very dry so other things I've tried I've had to take off immediately because of an intense burnin sensation. Not this one! It brightens, exfoliates, and even helps hydrate! Plus, it smells nice! Loving this; thanks Murad!

I purchased this product after my esthetician recommended it. I was skeptical at first because I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin.. I have been using it 2 times a week for a couple of weeks and can see a difference. My old high pigmented acne scars are fading, it leaves my skin softer, and I can see my pores shrinking without feeling dry. The reason why I give it a 4 is because I find it to be a tad pricey.

I will not be purchasing any more Murad products. I didn't like this brand before however based on reviews on what a great peel this was i fell for it. Both myself and my daughter tried this product for two weeks and all it did was feel like a cleanser. GLAM GLOW is way better. Got a refund back from Sephora and purchased the GG.

Have been using this twice a week and have noticed that my skin is less oily. Also, I have far less dry flakes of skin. Perfect for in the morning smells amazing, and smooths the skin for smooth foundation application. I don't find it earth shattering though, and believe this can be achieved through a cheaper product.

Not being one to give rave reviews...I will say, this product has done more for my skin than any product I've ever used.I hesitated to spend more money after all the disappointments. I did not have positive results with Murad Rejuvinating , so I was doubtful C would do anything. I do not get a burning sensation, it is almost like a tingling that I wish formerly purchased "mint" facials had given me. 20 years of smoking have left my skin dull and ruddy; with the first use of this product my skin has not looked this healthy since my 30's. The pores on either side of my nose were so large it was repulsive to me. They are so tight now I am in amazement. The ruddiness and clogged pores are gone.The thick layers of skin on my chin, which Clarisonic helped, but did not remove, are now gone. It is my hope that the age spots will continue to lighten as welI. I have used Lancome's Visionnaire for a year and it has helped, but the combination of this facial 3 times a week, plus the Visionnare, have worked miracles for me. I hope this Murad product will work wonders for you as well...

I have tried multitudes of different peels and masks, but this is the best I've tried. I apply this after cleansing and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off. It has a cooling and tingling sensation. My skin feels very smooth after using it, and when used along with a full Murad protocol, my fine lines and age spots have reduced somewhat in appearance. It really does brighten and prepare the skin for absorption of other skincare treatments. A very good peel that is not harsh, but it is effective.

Baby fresh skin! A little goes a long way, because you can feel this working. Not only are you exfoliating you are getting the best of vitamin C. Your face will not only will look brighter but the texture difference is absolutely amazing with the first use. I would recommend this to any age group especially those with acne that need that extra sloughing of the skin when the acne is healing. Goodbye to abrasive scrubs HELLO intensive C peel!!!

Love the difference I see in my skin! Went to my local Sephora at Westfield Mall and they gave me a sample to try. By the next week I was in there and purchased!!! Leave skin smooth and soft. I've notice since using that my skin is definitely less oily and looks amazing!

I got a sample of this at one of the stores and went right back the day after to get the full size product. Is a fantastic peel, left my skin soo soft and smooth. It does sting though, it does not bother me as i don't have sensitive skin and could leave it the full 10 minutes on, but might be too strong on such skins. Other than that, fantastic!
