What it does:Between the shimmering azure of the Mediterranean sea and the blazing heat of the sand, the 2012 Dior Summer look invites us on the sundeck of the Croisette for a very chic escape. With a touch of French glamour, Mr. Dior’s beloved French Croisette unveils its warmth and freshness for an elegant and glamorous season. What else you need to know:The 5 Couleurs palette is embossed with sunny waves, a nod to Dior's couture dresses, whose finishing touches are a testimony to the House's fashion know-how.

Beautiful, Awesome, Rich
-10.25.12
Quick Take: super deliciously beautiful fall personified!
These colors are so pretty and beautiful and so rich and nice and colorful and awesome... I am honestly at a loss for more adjectives. Dior never fails to deliver in quality so I won't even mention that! There's so much that can be done with this palette, so many combinations and it's so small and compact, yet it has so much product. Definitely worth every penny! Have yet to re-touch and my days are 15 to 18 hours long! Love it!!!

Amazing Colors
-08.02.12
Quick Take: dior quality
Rarely does a palette have colors seemingly chosen with my eyes in mind. These sheer colors work so well for my honey`brown/hazel eyes that I bought a second palette so I won't have to do without when this collection is no longer available. The orange goes on super sheer and warm and is my favorite. Dior has created another winner!!

suprised me
-07.30.12
I was scared of the orange but it surprised me. I have hazel eyes and it makes them look more blue-greenish instead of brown-greenish. All the other colors are nice too and although I was looking for some sort of bronze color for the summer I think this will go great into the fall as well. Another eye shadow winner from Dior. A little expensive because it's a "special edition" but at least the orange color makes it unique.

Perfect Combo of Couleurs- brown eyed gals
-07.05.12
Quick Take: portable, love the pink color, dior quaility
The colors are great. Yes, it does come up a little light at first, but I found once you put an eye primer underneath it gives it help with density of the color. Still, I find this combo of colors perfect. The pink color is my favorite I have to say, because it can be blended with any of the colors and the color is so unexpected. My favorite is to use the orange color on my lower lids and blend it past my crease and out and use the pink color on my brow bone and tap it on for a dense color- not sweep. I get complements all the time. I also use the brown color as eyeliner. I am telling you, this is so pretty! I use the gold or the champagne color on the inner comers of my eyes. But I do mix it up an also experiment with the colors. The one I explained is my favorite so far. I might buy another because I love the color combo so much and of course the best is always a limited edition.

Love these colors, the pay off is great. A little expensive, but what do you expect? You're basically paying for the brand name.

Perfect summer palette
-06.28.12
Quick Take: portable
This palette is the perfect summer eyeshadow palette! I am going to be traveling for a month this summer and didn't want to take a bunch of makeup the way I usually do so I was looking for a palette that I could wear multiple ways but would take up little room. This is it!! The colors are well pigmented and they last all day with primer on my oily lids. I can't wait to pack it up soon!!

Finally - a unique color palette for brown eyes
-06.28.12
If you have brown eyes with lots of golden flecks in this, I would urge you to try this palette. The ambert and gold are the perfect pop of unexpected color, and you can make the look subtle or..not. Add the fact that these colors have the staying power of Dior - what more can I say?

Bold Golden glow....
-06.28.12
Quick Take: bold and fashionable
I'm afraid I had to return this palatte. This is the first Dior set I have ever done that with. I had read a review that said her blue eyes popped...so it sounded good to me! Heck I want to pop too! Well, they popped, but the rest of my eye wrapped in gold and orange sure didn't do a thing for my complexion. Or maybe I just lack the confidence to wear such bold colors. Whatever the reason, it was returned and I got a new palatte in 'Greigh'....LOVE it! So this one wasn;t for me, but it brought me a palette I love, so all is well.
Thank you for taking returns Sephora!

Not the greatest
-06.27.12
I was a bit dissappointed on the color payoff. It was really difficult to get a lot coverage. If you are looking for soft and natural then you may really like this. I tend to like the heavier look and then I can blend down.

Simply the BEST!
-06.18.12
Quick Take: portable, good value, creative and imaginative colors, makes one feel like a princess
I have used Dior 5-Couleur sets for over 25 years and they are the best, non-creasing, true-to-color, gentle and long lasting shadows on the market. I LOVED these colors the minute I saw them and thrilled with the multi-looks one can achieve with a little imagination. Can be dark or light depending on application and I love the pink hiding with all the browns and coppers...great for summer and will last for a very long time if used with clean brushes and a minimum of care.

Love IT!
-06.17.12
Quick Take: smooth, creamy for powder shades, bright but not too bright, can go from day to night easy
It is exactly what I was looking for for summer and fall colors. It's smooth and I love the pigmentation of these shadows they are stunning. They all do have a form of shimmer to each of them, the brown is the one that has the least shimmer. The rest are the perfect orange, gold, and sand. The pink is a very good highlighter on the brow bone as well as the sand, but I'd use them both as a show by themselves. They can be used as a show all together or using a couple of shadows you can create a beautiful look that is unique for the summer. Bold, but very flattering and taste fully done. The orange is not something to be afraid of, I love it, I think it is a great orange and is not too bright and not to subtle. Great pallet for sure, have no regrets in buying it <3

I was told you can use all the colors at once. Where would u put the pink? I just got it, was also told theirs a color chart inside so you know which order to put what. However the clerk didnt check if it was in there and it wasnt. suposedly it takes you step one through 5. Any help would be appreciated. Cant wait to try it. Will chance it tomorrow

These are fantastic colors! I even use the oink color to lighten up the others. I love the summery warm look to the colors. It is expensive so I imagine it will deter some. I also think you need a primer for longer staying power.

I really like the colors in this palette. The orange isn't difficult to work with. I bought a second one to ensure I had it through the summer.

I can't believe how beautiful and versatile this palette is. I love it. I use the top gold to highlight my cheekbones and above my eyebrows. The orange looks great to blend out a black or dark brown smoky eye. It is so beautiful and I'm glad I bought it.

Arora: For me, best quint yet
-05.25.12
Quick Take: portable, good value, great quality of shadow
I am a fan of the more natural: taupes, warm browns, brown liquid liner, reasonable pops of color in eyeshadow and lipstick. I tan easily and like to dable in highlighter and bronzier cheeks when my color warms in the summer so this purchase was made sight unseen. I wear this with natural-peachy nude lips or tinted gloss and use the entire quint for my eyes skipping liquid liner and using the brown as a more casual liner if I'm going for that look. But i've used this for work with black and brown liner, the pink/peach for highlighter on eyes, high on my cheek bone, and cupid's bow and still love the results. The golden orange and rust colors are so lovely, they really pull natural vs. eek! Orange! Yes, these quints are pricey but they provide you with a lot of options-the brushes are sponge but useable, and the colors are true, pigmented, easily blendable, minimal (if any) fallout, and stunning. Great for all year easy for day to night, and travel. I'm purchasing a backup before it sells out and I suggest you take a peek at it if you can.
