Quick Take: great, smells great, softens
I have only used this product once, but can definitely see the potential. I used this in place of my normal wash and go mousse and I loved how soft my curls were. They were very defined the first day but didn't last very long. Next time I use this I'll actually style it. Maybe Bantu knots. But back to the product...smells great, looks like its going to last a long time and leaves my hair very soft!

I love carols daughter products but was very disappointed in this one. My hair was stiff, crunchy and tangled.

I've had a great experience with other Carol's Daughter products so I was happy to the setting foam to the other items in my collection. I was disappointed when after using the product my hair felt sticky and was really easily tangled. I rinsed it out and decided I would try again next wash day... Same story, I'm returning this and sticking with my leave in.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, keeps hair from split ends, makes all my curls smooth and soft
Really does help on the ends of the hair either when blow drying or when using with hot iron products. I am not an African American lady but use most of Carol's Daughters products because I have long thick grey hair that presents with same texture/problems of most black women.

I purchased this product becasue I use sulfate free shampoos, as wells as silicone free conditioners so i needed some help to protect against heat styling. This product works great as a protector and actually gave me more volume (which is always a plus) so it did more then expected, will purchase again. Only bad part is that it can only be used on wet hair.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I used this on my roller set at the hair salon and my stylist thinks this is a great setting foam. The foam left my hair silky, soft to the touch, and managable. It doesn't have holding power but it makes hair silky and beautiful. It did not dry my hair out and could tell a difference from this and other setting foams which makes hair feel dry. My family complimented me after a week and said my hair still looks great. I just pin curled at night.to keep curls.
