Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have combination dry/oily skin that is super sensitive. I tried a lot of moisturizers before this one and most were too heavy and caused my face to break out in red itchy splotches. Doesn't happen with this one! It is incredibly light but makes my skin feel perfectly moisturized and makes my skin look smooth and even. Definitely worth it!

This gel goes on smoothly and like others said, feels a little sticky as it dries on. BUT it's mostly the hands that get super sticky rather than the face, so if you wash your hands after applying it, it doesn't feel that sticky at all on your face.
As for the gel, it is greatly moisturizing, and it REALLY brightens your complexion. So far, I love it!

I have extremely sensitive skin and was looking forward to trying this since it sounded like exactly what I was looking for; hydrating, no fragrance, and no parabens. But I was very disappointed with the results.
I'm not sure how this can work as a moisturizer. It was extremely sticky. The initial feeling is refreshing and moist but the moisturizer gets very sticky as it dries. My face felt like it was dipped in honey. I had to wash it off since I just felt itchy from the stickiness.

Very mediocre. Was expecting a better product after such great reviews, but the product application was off-putting. Very lightweight but application was extremely sticky, felt like the product did not absorb into skin. Product did not make my combination skin oily, but overtime my skin has appeared more dull. Would not repurchase.

am on my third tub of this. it takes me through winter and summer, can work as a serum under other moisturizers. sinks in easily and not greasy at all. i feel it somehow helps with acne pigmentation as well.

I have tried so many moisturizers and this one really is the best. It moisturizes my face without making me oilier in my t-zone later on in the day. I have very sensitive skin and I do not break out from this and a little goes a long way.

I have very dry skin and struggle with redness, dry/flaky patches, sensitive skin, etc. and was dubious that a GEL would work for me, but this product has been a miracle worker. My skin has literally never looked better, and this is now the only product I use morning and evening. I have no redness, I use this around the eye area with great success, my flaky patches are gone - incredible.
I have even gotten my husband to use this moisturizer after shaving, and while he has an opposite skin type to me (combo to oily, breakouts and ingrown hair issues) his skin also looks great and he appreciates that there is no greasiness whatsover in the product. He loathes all skin care products, so this is a pretty big endorsement.

You get a lot of product for the money, and you don't have to use a lot to get great moisture that lasts all day. I have pretty dry skin that breaks out in itchy bumps and dry patches if I don't use the right product, and this really helped clear all that up. However, the texture is a little tacky even after it absorbs in. To keep it from interfering with my makeup, I smooth on a little Laura Mercier Flawless skin sunscreen after I put on the moisturizer. Good combo for me!

Quick Take: more than a hydrator it seems to brighten skin
light, absorbs quickly, doesn't upset sensitive skin.
when I am in a hurry, I use the KJD cleansing water and finish off my this. In the morning I look fresh and my skin looks brighter.
