Gucci Flora By Gucci Garden - Tuberose

This romantic fragrance embraces all aspects of the Tuberose’s loveliness: fresh green shoots, dew-sprinkled petals, and lingering sillage. The distinctively elegant flower is enhanced by violet leaves and peach softens into the plant’s silken blossom. A base of white cedarwood and cistus enhances the impression of refined charm. The effect is a most gracious aura. The woman who wears this fragrance boasts a natural poise as she dances through life with a ballerina’s elegance. Her presence is a joy for all. The Flora Garden Collection is a bouquet of scents inspired by the House’s renowned Flora pattern. Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini explains: “With Flora by Gucci, I wanted to express the loveliness of the Flora woman: charming, romantic, and optimistic.” Notes:Violet Leaves, Peach, Tuberose, Orange Flower, Rose, Cistus (Rock Rose), White Cedarwood. Style:Charming. Romantic. Optimistic.

Beautiful clean floral, not overly sweet. Purchased for spring/summer use.

Disappointing
-03.30.13
Quick Take: weak not as described
I had expected a more true tuberose scent from a company which usually strives for The Real Thing. This is not it and, as some reviewers have said, quite weak.

I sampled this on a card while walking through a department store and absolutely loved it. I went home and ordered it from Sephora online. I was so disappointed when it arrived. It smelled nothing like it did in the store, and although the smell was pleasant enough, it faded away to nothing almost instantly. It was like spritzing myself with rose water. I'm a little confused because some of the other reviewers have said this is a strong smell, so I'm wondering if maybe I got a bad bottle or something? I returned it and the lady told me eau de toilettes are not as strong as eau de parfums, and this is not a parfum. I almost kept it just because the bottle looked so pretty on my dresser haha.

Light and fresh
-05.24.12
This is the lightest scent in the Flora collection. Perfect for summer. It smells like fresh flowers. Slightly sugary and sweet, it is a "young" scent. My only gripe is that it lasts less than 4 hours.

Strong but not overpowering
-05.24.12
This is the heaviest scent in the Flora collection. My least favorite of the 3. It has warm, spicy undertones. Strong but not overpowering, it is an "older" fragrance. Great for evening or winter use. It lasts less than 4 hours.

very nice
-05.21.12
I am a BzzAgent and was able to try out the collection. At first I was very hesitant because I normally wear sweet smelling perfumes (such as Pink Sugar) because most floral perfumes give me a headache. Sometimes to the point of migraines if I cant wash it off fast enough. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole collection, but the Tuberose was both my husbands and my favorite! It was so light that I just new that it would be my scent for the coming summer months. It was nice to be able to wear something with a light floral scent and not get a headache.

Sheer Tuberose
-05.06.12
The Flora Garden collection is not as magnificent as Mugler's Garden of Stars, but Tuberose is my favorite out of the line-up. Unfortunately, Violet and Mandarin are the sisters that were separated from the others at birth (when launched) due to exclusivity. So, I can't say how I feel about them yet. Tuberose is not anything like Michael Kors or Fracas. Its a white floral with shared attention on green notes. Very light, airy and sheer. When I smell this, I think of Miss Dior Cherie L'eau. Another fresh, white to green floral, composed of bigarade orange, white musk, caramel and patchouli. Quite classy.

Flora By Gucci Garden - Tuberose
-03.21.12
Ok. This one, according to my opinion, is the best smelling among the three. It is lighter and not sweet. It is a nice floral fragrance suitable for spring and summer. Suitable for work/office, too. Might seem kind of strong at the first spray but then it develops very nicely.
The Gardenia smells very very similar to Viva la Juicy and it lingers on the skin or clothes for a very long time. The Magnolia is nice, strong and sweet at first when you spray, but then it turns into a strong sweet floral.

My favorite!!

Quick Take: elegant, refreshing
I used to wear the Flora By Gucci Eau Fraîche and ran out of it. I was debating whether I loved it enough to buy another one. I went to sephora 3 times tried many different perfumes.. couldn't find anything i wanted to purchase. I cam across this one at Lord & Taylor last Friday. I tried all 3 scents. There was one that smelled soo good but I couldn't figure out which one it was. I went back again today and realized it was this one; the Tuberose! Magnolia was too sweet for me. Gardenia wasn't me. It smells a little spicy on me. The Gardenia is nothing like Marc by Marc Jacobs. The Tuberose is not to sweet or strong, refreshing, and very elegant. I love it!
