Quick Take: good value
I got this set mainly for the eye color. It is nowhere near gold!! It's a mix of metallic greenish-brown and bronze. The intensity of color depends on how much you put on your lid, and in that sense it actually reminds me of the color shift from another BE set. The brightening eye primer is probably the only thing I might get separately from this kit. The rest of the products were supposed to compliment the eye shadow, so for me it is not worht it.

Worth buying to try, I guess

I hated the look and feel of the lip gloss. The brush was cheap, and I ended up not wanting to use it. The powders are okay. The eye shadow primer is probably the best feature of the kit. I would say it's worth buying if you've never tried bare minerals products and want to see what they are like. But I was not in love with this set and will not be buying any of the products in it individually.

totally worth it!

the colors are all fantastic and go well with each other!
-the brush is fantastic and i use the eye side for almost all eye makeup.
- the eyeliner is my new fave- pretty brown that I'm in love with.
-lip gloss is sticky but a gorgeous color.
-eyeshadow base is GREAT and really brightens your eyes.
-the eyeshadow is a strange emerald color that i can't pull off.
-the rosy face color doesn't work for me. its too strong but its a gorgeous color.

Very Good Value!

Quick Take: good value, pretty colors, fun to use
I have just started using Bare Minerals/ Escentuals, and this was one of the first products I bought. I was very pleased with this kit! The eyeshadows are very pigmented, and beautiful. I also love the gold color in the eyeshadow primer! I feel this colored kit would look good on any skin tone.

I have been using Bare Escentuals for years and l love their products! This kit is great for on the go, quick application. My only problem is that the eyeliner doesn't blend too easily, but I love the colors.

Overall this is a nice combo. I like the radiance and the brushes the best. In my opinion, the shimmer in every product is a little much for me.
Eyelid Primer: Dislike.
It's not at all what I thought it would be. I love the makeup primer BE sells but this is not at all like that. It's a very glittery gold paste that when I apply to my eye lids, it gets everywhere! It also dries immediately so it's tough to spread around. I used it two days in a row and my eye lids were very dried out. This is not good for people with sensitive eyelids.

Zany Eyecolor: Ok.
A nice "nighttime" shadow but again, very shimmery. It's a pretty color and if I use a different all over eyelid color first, I think it'll pair nicely.

I like this eyeliner. It's a nice alternative to black which tends to look very harsh on my eyes. It goes on easy and doesn't irritate my skin.

Radiance All-Over Face Color: Love.
I love this color. It's probably my favorite of all the pieces in here. It is a tad shimmery but this is where I don't mind it. I use it after I apply the "warmth" color that comes with the startup kit and my skin looks very happy.

The color doesn't show up on me as it does in the model on the box, but I have very dark lips. So it serves as a nice gloss that I will keep in my purse.

The eye brush is a little large to use for the crease of your eye but it's fine for an all-over eyelid application. The cheek brush is great for the radiance application.

I used this kit for the first time this morning & I am loving evrything about it.
My favorite item is the Zany eye color. I was very skeptical because it looks green in the picture. But it isn't at all. All of the colors are pretty & natural.
BE really got it right with this kit.

I mainly got this because Sephora was sold out of the Prime Time eyelid primer in the golden shade at the time. Also because I've tried all the BE products and this looked like a nice a addition to my collection. Ok, truthfully...I just had to have it! I also picked up the cool collection too :)
These are all full sized products, except the lipgloss and the radiance (full size radiance is 0.03 oz, here it's 0.02 oz)...
The brightening eyelid primer was just what I'd hoped for. Sheer golden. I have very fair skin and I find that other primers are too dark for me, This is a translucent primer. It can make dry areas more pronounced and look flaky. I do have very dry skin around my eyes, so I would think it would work better for people who don't have dry lids, or tend to be more on the oily side.
The Zany eye color is just as described, soft tarnished gold. Very nice and natural looking. IT IS NOT GREEN AT ALL.
The RTC eyeliners work amazingly. Great for sensitive eyes, I can take it all the way to the water line without my eyes stinging or tearing up. I love smudging these with a smudge brush on my lower lid. Must work fast with the eyeliner, they do set up quickly. Really good staying power.
I LOVE BE's natural lipgloss, super moisturizing and smell and taste great. Nectar is a lovely pale pink-nude. Very sheer, but for more color, just dip in a blush, an eyeshadow, or even the radiance included for a more saturated color.
Love the brush. Very good quality. Consistent with the other BE brushes I have.
Haven't tried the radiance yet, only because I have so many others that I'm still using. But I'm sure I will love it too.
One thing I can say about bare minerals eyeshadows, blushes, radiances, lipglosses, is that they are wearable on all skin tones. I have soooo many sets like this, and have never been disappointed.
