Quick Take: good value, travel size, must have, convenient
I really love this palette. It's so convenient! I've seen many people complain about the price but it doesn't bother me at all. For the price of a single shadow you get the palette, an exclusive shadow and a brush. No complaints from me. As a palette fiend I find it great for keeping my UD shadow together instead having to search through my makeup collection to find the shade I want. This is a must have for any UD lover!

I think that UD could have chosen a more fun color to include with the palette but other than that it's a fun concept! Love the tin packaging!

Hey so at first i really was not sure if i sould get this palette. Finally i decided to get because I knew it came with a shadow and brush and I might wanna buy Urban Decay eyeshadows. I had never tried UD eyeshadows but I heard by Kandee Johnson that they were great excpecially since they came out with the new Formula. I got this palette and Half Baked. I love the UD Eye Shadows!!!!!!!!! This Palette is great expecially because it comes with 'Walk of Shame' (eyeshadow that comes with palette) and a really great brush!

I’ve been meaning to pick this up for ages, and when browsing Sephora noticed it was sold out online. It was sold out on every site I checked so I dashed to the store on my way home from work to see if they had any left. They had two left, so I snapped one up and am so glad I did. Like most reviewers it’s a bit heavy to tote around on a regular basis, but it’s sturdy and the shadows are easily removable which is nice. I also hate having a bazillion small pots to cart around, so the ease of having my favorites for traveling is great as it can sit in the bottom of my makeup case with all the other stuff on top. No more digging around for the right pot and having a ton littering the counter… so they get knocked into the sink or the floor or the toilet… yeah, ruined a shadow doing that. The price seems steep to fill it if you’re just starting to collect shadows, but the shadows do go on sale. I picked up two for $9 a piece recently and am so glad I snagged the case to store them (and all my other shades).

Excellent palette

I bought this palette to go along with a few of the redesigned shadows from UD, and I adore it! It's a sturdy metal case with a big beautiful mirror and a decent enough brush. It closes tightly and is heavy enough to sit open and lie flat easily I use loose pigments almost exclusively (Sugarpill is my favourite brand).. but when I want the convenience of a pressed shadow, this palette full of my favourite UD shades is what I go to!
The shadows are easy to remove so this palette really is endlessly customisable!

Quick Take: good value
I love the new UD shadows. I accumulated quite a few of them by the time this palette became available so I purchased it to hold my faves. It's a great idea but the palette is really bigger than it needs to be - it's a bit clunky. I'm hoping for something a bit more refined in the future but will gladly use this in the meantime.

SO worth the investment
-07.28.12
Quick Take: good value, customizable
As many have noted, filling up this customizable palette is a bit on the pricy side. However, I find it completely worth the price tag to own a tailor-made UD palette which is sturdy and tight-sealing with a massive mirror AND fully stocked with all my favorite UD shades (and none that will go to waste as with many of my previous palettes). Walk of Shame is a decent enough shadow, and I've decided to leave it in its spot as a highlight/blender shade alongside Snatch, Mushroom, Half Baked, Smog, and Midnight Cowboy. This is an incredible case for the most incredible shadows, and the free Good Karma brush isn't too shabby either (and is much preferred to another mini Zero pencil).

Finally!
-07.22.12
Quick Take: travel size
I am obsessed with palettes. I own so many in general, not to mention almost the entirety of UD's palettes. Unfortunately, while I love UD, these palettes are bulky, difficult to travel with, not to mention to carry in a purse. This is a great solution. I own 3 custom palettes, and I broke up my eye looks into sections of 3 pans. So each palette, for me, holds 2 eye looks. I find this to be a super convenient way to organize my makeup. Great for travel and great to throw in my purse. A drawback, however, is that I do find it hard to pop the eyeshadows in and out. I personally can't do it, I have to have my husband change them. So this is why I just have 3 palettes so I don't have to pop them in or out. Also these are far from economical. One palette with eyeshadows will set you back well over a hundred bucks. For me I don't mind due to the added convenience, but this might be a deterrent for others.

I am a palette fiend. I had a hard time digging my UD shadows out of the bottom of my shadow basket but I don't have to worry anymore. You get a neutral shade with the box so that justifies the price. For anyone who is wondering how to get your shadows in the case, they pop out of the individual cases by pressing on the bottom.

The new way to custom
-07.19.12
Quick Take: easy to open and close, perfect for travel
this is a grate product for travling. It's also a grate way to make you own paltte where you can pick your own style. I haven't been able to fit any of my old eyeshadow but the new ones fit perfectly fine, the brush does it's work but it could be better. I would recomend this product to anyone, plus the price is grate. P.s it does add up if you buy it all at the same time.

A Beauty Must-Have
-07.13.12
Quick Take: good value, convenient, customizable, easy to use, amazing
I purchased this palette along with Baked, Busted, Blackout, Mushroom, and Psychedelic Sister. I have never been happier! The eye shadows were amazingly simple to pop out and install into the palette pan. The eye shadows themselves are incredible. I had never tried Urban Decay before so I was surprised by how creamy and pigmented they were. This palette is so convenient, definitely worth the price tag. The matte shadow it comes with is a decent highlight, I plan to replace it with vanilla. The large mirror in the palette is nice as well as the brush. I would not use the brush for normal application, only in an emergency if I forgot my brush kit. I have been applying these with my Sephora+Pantone Strokes of Nature eye brush set and couldn't be happier! This palette is amazing! I think it would even be a great gift since who ever you give it to can customize is as they like. I feel like the case is travel friendly since it's tin. I could go on and on about this product! My favorite purchase to date! Everyone should have one of these...INCREDIBLE!

This is not actually 18.00. It is actually 25.00, and I ended up paying 27.00 with tax. Only the eyeshadows are 18, and this palette is 25! I like the matte eyeshadow, and I'd give it five stars if it weren't misleading with the price.

Build it yourself and love it!
-07.04.12
Quick Take: perfect size, sturdy metal case, good brush, economcial depending on pov, easy pop outs, secure pop ins
I personally love this! Some have said expensive, but if you are already buying single shadows you are already paying the $17 bucks, it is like the case is free!
I love the BIG mirror, sturdy metal case , the brush is great, but you still may want to make some blenders and crease brushes, and it is slim enough to travel in your average sized purse/bag.
I really like having the ability to change out colors to suit my needs or wants. I do have Naked and Naked2 both of which I love! I have bought some doubles from those palettes and added some colors-brights not in those palettes and added a few more mattes--becoming a bit of a collector.
So really if you already spending the moola on the shadows get this palette to create looks to suit your every whim!

custom UD palette
-06.30.12
Quick Take: portable, easy to use, a tad on the bulky side, "free shadow" just ok
I have actually bought 2 of these now, to house a bunch of single shadows that I bought right after UD re-formulated and re-launched the shadows. It drives me nuts having the shadows single in my make-up bag or drawers at home, so these totally solve that issue. They are a little chunky, size wise, as others have said, but that doesn't really bug me as I am usually carrying around one or both of the Naked palettes in my bag, which aren't exactly small either. The shadow that comes with is ok, but nothing to write home about.. I really don't think it shows up on me, so I took it out to make space for a different color and popped it back into one of the other shadow's original case. I am kind of addicted to "Vanilla" as a highlighter anyhow..
Overall, the new (packaging) shadows pop in and out easily (I haven't tried any of my old token ones, see other reviews for that.) and I traveled with these in my checked suitcase just last week, and they were just fine on the receiving end. As long as they protect the shadows, I don't mind the cases being a bit heavy and bulky.
It would be super awesome, if in the future, UD lets you choose your first shadow that comes with it, so people who buy multiple palettes don't get stuck with 2 or more "Walk of Shame" shadows. But overall no real complaints..
On a quick side note, I wanted to thank Sephora, once again, for their excellent customer service..! My palette arrived just fine, however within 10 minutes of playing with it at home, I managed to break off one of the little black plastic pieces, used to keep the palette closed. I called sephora and they shipped me out a replacement that same day, before i had even got my broken one back into the box to send back. Some people complain about Sephora's prices..but there is not a beauty company out there that tops their return policy and customer service (in my mind), so I don't mind paying a little extra for complete satisfaction everytime. :)

Great value!!

Quick Take: good value, travel size
This build your own palette is amazing! I had several UD eyeshadows that I already owned and wanted to put in the palette. I used my points and managed to get it for four dollars. The palette comes with Walk of Shame, which is my everyday lid color! It is so buttery soft and glides on your lid to create the perfect cream color. The palette comes with a small brush which is perfect for on the go or travelling. If you already own several UD eyeshadows, get this! The ones I put in my pallete were Walk of Shame, Freelove, Half-Baked, and Flash.

Not Impressed With Color Intensity
-06.27.12
I bought the pallet. The neutral color is so neutral that it doesn't even show up on my skin. I also bought Bordello which shows up a muddy light color on the skin. No intensity at all. I think I'll try deeper colors next time I buy.
