Volumizing Mascara!

So, I've been trying to find a good cruelty-free mascara, which is difficult. However, this mascara is awesome! The brush packs on so much mascara that I can do both eyes without have to dip back into the tube - a first for me! Yet it doesn't clump or get too messy, either. I've tried so many mascaras over the years, cruelty-free and non, and this one is amazing. It really lengthens and volumizes, and doesn't smudge under my eyes during the day (which I normally have a problem with) or when I work out; so I really appreciate that. I don't really feel like I need a waterproof mascara anymore...unless I know I'll be crying at a movie or wedding or something! For the benefits and the fact that a tube lasts forever, it's a great deal.

As a mascara ADDICT, I have tried many...both the pricey and the drug store brands. This mascara is amazing. Of any mascara, I typically apply at least 3 coats. I'm telling you this stuff makes you look like you are wearing false lashes!!! My sister has commented that I look like I have eyelashes reminiscent of the sesame street character, Snuffleupagus (whose lashes are long, thick and gorgeous) while wearing this product! Sometimes I mix it (by alternating coats) with Urban Decay supercurl curling mascara (also LOVE) which helps to separate the lashes better and has a nicer curling property without having to use one of those pinching metal eyelash curlers.
If you are looking for full, luxurious lashes give this product a try, you won't be disappointed! Btw...for you bargain hunters out there...a big fatty full sized duo is available for just $9 more on another well known makeup site as well as the company's site as well.

I love this mascara because it works so well on my very short and sparce lashes. It makes them look so much thicker than they actually are and performs so much better than a drugstore brand. It's a little pricey, but so worth it.

I had used 100 points to receive a sample tube of the Urban Decay "Big Fatty Mascara". I have gone from having long thick eyelashes to having white, short, and very sparse looking lashes. I am 50 years old now and had pretty much given up on finding a mascara that could help me. I thought the name was hysterical and decided to try it just for fun. Oh, my, was I in for a shock!! This mascara is AWESOME!! I was a little shook up about the price of a full size "Big Fatty" but, now that I've got it I am too excited to feel anything but happy. The tube is quite large and it does not take much of the mascara to give me the most beautiful, thick, and luscious lashes I have ever had!! I know this tube will last a while and my lashes are so beautiful that I think it is definitely worth the price. My husband bought both my daughter and I the GLINDA and the THEADORA pallets from Urban Decay and the 24/7 eyeliners that came with these pallets are perfect, I want more!! I guess I will be using more and more and more of the U. D. Products!! My daughter has fallen in love also. Thank you Urban Decay for making a 50 year old mother of teenagers feel young again with my new LARGE LASHES!!

I've been using this for a long time now, and I can truly say that this is the best on the market (in my opinion)! But of course, different mascaras work for different people, so I'll write my lash type and then what I love so much about this mascara.
To begin, I have medium/long, slightly curled lashes that are rather sparse. I love this mascara because it is SO THICKENING! It builds like heaven, with minimal clumps, and holds my curl after I curl my lashes. It also gives me great length and is uber-black. All in all, it's not false advertising, which is one of my pet peeves of makeup. I love this way more than They're Real!, which I tried for a while. It's so much more thickening and builds much better.
However, I do have some warnings. If you're out in humid, hot weather, this will smudge. It doesn't flake, but it smudges a bit. It also takes a while to dry, so if you prefer quick-drying, dry-formula mascaras, this isn't for you. Also, this has a HUGE brush, so if you have small eyes/lashes, you will probably hate this mascara. A lot of people complain that this is super-messy and clumping, but I haven't experienced any of that.
All things considered, I love this mascara, and will continue to use it until I find something better, which may be a LONG time. Try it! You can always return it because of Sephora's great return policy.

I used to love this mascara, but I had to return it after I learned that Urban Decay added oil to their formula. It's now a very different feel. It's very thick and black, which is great to darken the lashes. It's is also virtually smudge proof,...but that comes with a price. It's impossible to get off! I would scrub and scrub using eye makeup remover, and I'd still always wake up with dark black circles around my lash line. The oil made it sit heavy and thick on the lashes...just uncomfortable.

I was excited to try this and was unfortunately greatly disappointed. It is very clumpy and slightly dry. It got all over my face. I have very long eyelashes that tend to touch my face so it was a disaster.

I really wanted to like this stuff.. Very clumpy/paste-like consistency, and smears/creases like you wouldn't believe.. Practically a raccoon within a few hours. I have naturally thick and long eyelashes, so that could contribute to my horrible experience with this one considering it's supposed to be super volumizing and what not. Sorry UD :(

Quick Take: volumizing, lengthening, clumpy, clumps, dries slowly, hard to remove
I am trying SOOO hard to like this mascara, & I'm having trouble for a number of reasons. It's not marketed as being waterproof, but it wears like one, which is a good & bad thing. Good because it stays on really well, but bad because I wasn't looking for a waterproof mascara (they tend to pull my eyelashes out when I try to remove it, no matter how gentle I am with oil-based removers). It doesn't lengthen much, in my opinion, but this is okay (I guess) because my eyelashes are pretty long to begin with. What I sort of hate (but am trying to work with & hopefully love later) is the "Big Fatty" aspect of this mascara. It definitely makes your lashes fatter, but it does so by clumping them all together. Instead of many wonderful, fat, volumized lashes, I end up with 10 fat, clumpy lashes on each eye. I use a lash separater, but it's difficult to use even then. On the upside, they're easy to separate when they're wet, & they take quite a while to dry (not too friendly if time is of the essence), but it leaves so much residual mascara on my lids that I don't use this mascara if I have eyeshadow on. On the downside, the lashes are impossible to separate once they're dry. I just...I don't know...maybe I need to watch a few YouTube videos to figure out how to use it "properly".
I'd give it 1 star but I'm still trying really hard to like it. =/

LOVE this mascara! It's lengthens well and stays on without flaking all day. Comes off well with Origins Clean Energy. I used to use DiorShow but this is WAY better.

very impressed. wet but not clumpy, definitely flake proof and goes on simple/evenly. the small bristles on the tip of the brush work to their design and enhance the tiny lashes that thicker brushes cannot access.

I'm not a fan on spending big money on mascara as I don't see the point or really any difference between different mascara brushes. To me they do all the same things, aka my lashes just end up getting stuck together and aren't evenly separated etc. I tried this mascara and it was so amazing. SO amazing, my lashes didn't clump, they looked full and evenly separated. Loveeee this mascara totally worth the price!!

Quick Take: thick, clumpy
I was highly recommended this product last summer by a Sephora Sales Associate, before it was even released. So with all the hype I was extremely disappointed to find it leaves my eyes a clumpy hot mess. I keep trying to see if it changes, but to no avail. Less is more with this, but definitley not the best mascara out there.
