Quick Take: ok could be better
I am having a hard time with these, because they get tangled alot! These are 2", should come in 3" or even 4" for longer hair. I find these too small. I will keep practicing, to see if I get better with these. If anyone has any tips, please post!

great with practice
-02.04.13
As another reviewer stated, with practice these rollers are great. I'm getting better at finding the proper dampness that my long, thick, curly hair needs to be to get the smooth, bouncy curls I'm after when I use these rollers after washing. However, using these on day two (or even three if I prime) is easier. My hair is quite thick and long, and as long as I take my time, I get all my hair on the rollers. I just let them cool while putting on my makeup. Definitely a time saver for me!

Quick Take: great
Before I purchased the blow out brush kit I read the reviews. A lot of ladies got the brushes tangled in their hair. Not me, I guess I'm just a pro at blow outs. Not even my hair chick can blow out my hair like I can. The only reason why I gave the kit a 4 star is because I need more than 6 brushes and I even went on the Calista website to purchase more brushes and they're just not available.

I Like These!
-12.01.12
Quick Take: nice addition to styling arsenal
I read alot of reviews prior to ordering these and despite the very mixed reviews I decided to give them a try. I've now used them 3 days straght and I'm getting better results with each attempt. My hair is wavy, fine and mid back length. I have to dry my hair almost completely (99%) or my hair WILL tangle when removing brushes. I prefer to dry my hair, flat iron and then use the brushes on the top of my head to add volume - and they give me a good bit of volume. I lightly spray with hairspray after brushes are all in. Also, only unroll straight up to minimize tangling. Like many others I also wish the brushes were larger and i could use twice as many.

Too much work - and not for volumizing
-11.19.12
I think if these were bigger they would work better for volumizing - which is what I need. This was more work than my big round brush, and it gave me more curl than volume. It takes me a lot less time to use the round brush than dry each of these and then take them out and then style. Used them 4 times before returning.

not a fan
-10.27.12
Quick Take: not worth it, doesn't work
Despite other reviews, I thought I'd give this a try. To give it a fair go, I attempted using this 3 times before making my final decision. The first attempt gave me some nice volume... less than I wanted, but my husband thought it was a lot. (it wasn't!) From styling before bed to the morning, the volume did not stay at all. I was hoping at least for a little leftover volume. The second and third time I used this, I barely got any curl OR volume. In fact, I think both times I ended up just putting my hair back.
Finally, these are not easy to use, AND the quality seems very, very cheap. I returned them, and I will look for other ways to achieve a blowout look.

Takes some practice..but great once you have it down. Has the benefit of a round brush and roller in one!

NOT for long fine hair
-09.09.12
I have fine hair, and a lot of it. This product's bristles tore my hair and by the time I was able to free them from my hair, it looked like a rat's nest. Stick to Velcro rollers if you have my kind of hair. I could see it working on shorter, less fine hair.

Nice
-09.07.12
Quick Take: will travel
I will have to grow another foot of hair for these huge rollers. I don't like throwing that severe a heat on my bleached, thin, fine hair. I would be nice if there was a 1-1/2" roller to go with this set.

Such a great styling tool!
-09.02.12
Quick Take: time saving
Such a great idea...to get the best result, run brush through section of hair, then start from bottom and roll straight up & clip. What's great about these brushes is that you roll your hair, clip & detach & your hair is set. (After I set w/ brushes, I put on makeup & finish getting ready, pull out the brushes & go!) Glad they finally came up with these!!

Salon hair !!!

Quick Take: time saving
I can never get my hair as bouncy and smooth as they do at the salon . These are like I took my stylist home with me ! They are easy to use with little practice . I have long hair and if I take the proper sized sections it's very easy .

LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT
-08.27.12
Quick Take: time saving, heats quickly, amazing, easy to use
These blowout brushes have made my life easier!! I hate spending so much time on my hair, these have saved me a whole lot of time! I quickly blowdry my entire head then roll these brushes into hair. The handles makes it super easy to get the root lifted for more volume. I heat the brushes very quickly with my blow dryer while they cool I do my make up then take them out. I normally have to round brush each section of hair and it takes forever.
I read one of the reviews above and have a quick suggestion for her... when taking the brushes out make sure to lift up and roll out. I have long frizzy stringy hair and I never get them caught. I have learned from experience that if you pull the brush down it will get caught, so just remember up and roll out the same way you put in.
Thank you Calista Tools for this great time saver!!!

Good but takes practice, wish they were bigger
-07.24.12
Quick Take: interesting
I have hair that is just past shoulder length and my hair is almost too long for these - it is easy to get them tangled in your hair. I really wish they were fatter. When you think blowout, you think BIG brush heads that will smooth out the hair rather than curl it. That said, after some practice, they are good. The handle is easy to detach from the brush head part when you need to with just a press of your thumb. I wish the company read these reviews because these could be improved in three ways: denser bristles to grab the hair better, fatter brush heads to smooth rather than curl, more brush heads (8 would be awesome). Great idea that is not quite there yet - but it is less expensive and awkward than buying and using 6 round brushes.

Nice idea
-07.03.12
This sounds like a great idea but I don't recommend this product for shoulder length or longer hair. Even though the model advertising this product has long hair, these brushes will get caught in your hair and you'll find yourself literally damaging your hair just to get the barrels out. This would be a great product if they made larger barrels.
