Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Florale Gift Set
L'Eau d'Issey Florale is the pure expression of a flower. Its top notes smell of the breath of a barely opened rose. Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly, addicting scent, amazing, perfect summer scent
I was looking for a new scent so I went to Sephora to smell a bunch. As soon as I sprayed L'Eau d'Issey Florale, I knew I found my new signature perfume. I can not explain how wonderful this scent is... but I'll try.
The top notes are flowery-- rose is the strongest to me, and the rose scent stays in the air and on clothes or whatever it's sprayed on, while on skin the scent fades more to a lily scent. The rose and lily are fresh-smelling, not powdery, fake, or old lady-smelling. The middle note is slightly woody-- very pleasant and reminiscent of summer. The base note is very very faintly musky-- not a "manly" musky, but almost "tangy", to round off the fragrance with some "bite", so it's neither too sweet or too flowery. It made the back of my scalp tingle nicely the first few times I smelled it, whatever that response is called!
I find that this perfume is very complex with a definite beginning, middle, and end to it, which makes it quite addicting! I sprayed some of this on my wrists and on my purse at the store to try it out, and I couldn't stop smelling them on the way home. Then I kept getting whiffs of it from my purse for the next day or two (it lasts long!) and I had to buy this gift set. I'm so glad I did. The size of the perfume bottle is adequate (1.6 oz - about the length of one and a half DROID Razr phones, if that helps you out at all), and for the price of the same 1.6 oz bottle, the gift set gives you a travel size shower wash and body lotion for free. The wash and lotion won't last too long, but they're free, and they smell great, so it's just a bonus for me.

I love this fragrance. I get so many compliments from both men and women all the time.
It's a subtle, fresh scent and never overpowering.
