I am now turned on to tan towelettes!

Quick Take: long lasting
I can't express how happy I was to find that tan towelettes really are STREAK-FREE. I was so nervous about the lack of a color guide, and the application technique seemed riddled with problems! However, I was proven very wrong. Despite my uneasiness while applying it, it's seems impossible to streak yourself with this great product!
The tan also lasts much longer than tans from other products I have used - it really sinks deep into your skin. I also LOVE that you are meant to use moisturizer afterwards. I always want to use cream after applying tanner at night since I have dry skin, but I feel like it usually compromises my color. With this product, you are supposed to do it.
Enough color for me after one generous application. Not too dark, but definitely a good difference in my skin color. I would not call this product gradual unless lightly applicated.
Only downside is that my skin seemed dryer the next morning. I'm not 100% sure that is from this product, but I do really think it is. One star knocked off for that.

Quick Take: gradual, long lasting
I had used another brand of tanning towels for several years, but decided to try this one after reading a review. The first time I didn't follow the instructions to moisturize immediately after using it. The second time I did it correctly and had great results.

I LOVE these, the color it leaves is SO natural. The self tanner smell isnt bad. its VERY easy to blend in and not miss any spots, and I absolutely LOVE that there is no color guide!! I hate self tanners with bronzers because they are just so messy and I find them to smell so much worse then without bronzers. I will purchase this product again and again and I absolutely love it! I also LOVE that it has great skincare in it!

Quick Take: effective, easy, fool proof
Went in for another product I'd seen on TV and the manager brought this out. I gave it a try. Best self tanner I've ever used. Great color, not spotty or streaky, very easy to use. Lasted several days. Love it!

Quick Take: long lasting
Over the years, I have tried countless tanning products. However, they always seem to have some problem. I love Dr. Dennis Gross and knew this would be a winner. The toilette application is not sticky at all and is quick drying. The color is pretty and natural. I found it easy to blend. It's a bit pricey given I needed two towels for whole body, but towlette products are commonly known to be a less cost effective solution in general so I knew that going in.

One of the BEST tanning products

Quick Take: gradual, long lasting
I live in Miami. Tans are important business, Therefore, I've tried nearly every product on the market. By far, in terms of quality, color, + ease of use, this one of the best + very unique in terms of how it works. I must say I would probably have never bought the product because I've tried "tan towel" products in the past + wasn't a fan. But this one came as a free sample (not sure if from Sephora or somewhere else).
First of all, it is idiot proof to use. I was at first a little intimidated that since it wasn't coming from a can, how was it going to deposit the color evenly? But as long as you #1 EXFOLIATE + just make sure you go over your body evenly, all is perfect! Also be sure to wash your hands!
There are many things I love about this product:
1) The funky self-tan odor is minimal + non-offensive

2) You can apply moisturizer 5 minutes afterward, unlike other products, so skin looks supple + fabulous!
3) Dries very quickly, no stickiness
4) Color begins to develop in 1 hour but seems to continue to develop over 3 days
5) LONG long lasting!
6) If any areas are overdeveloped, streaky or spotty such as around ankles, it is easy to use an exfoliator or warm wash cloth to buff it out
7) The color is nice, a BELIEVABLE tan...not too orange. That being said, my natural complexion is fair olive (light yellow undertones). I don't think this product would compliment ultra-fair complexions, red-heads, anyone with a lot of pink in their skin.
8) There is an exfoliating element in the product, which keeps skin smooth - I don't notice this as much since I always keep my skin exfoliated via other means.
Needless to say I have stocked up on this product + use it intermittently with Tan for all Seasons by Bliss (my other reigning favorite).

I tried these tanning towels first and fell in LOVE with the ease, streak-free, TAN I got. As long as you are really good at going over every inch thoroughly and keeping in mind to exfoliate dry skin beforehand THIS PRODUCT IS A NO BRAINER. I even use on my face. I look like I just went on a cruise every time I use these. I was disappointed to find out my local Sephora does not carry these in stock during winter months so I was forced to try the Kate Sommerville wipes. I WAS SO SAD they barely gave any color at all. Barely anything. I will never stray from these again. A MILLION TIMES WORTH IT to get the giant box of 50 on Sephora.com. TRY THIS PRODUCT so much easier than a lotion or mousse!

This product was very nice. It deposited a lot of color on my light/olive skin, as desired. My only complaint is that the color settled into my hair follicles, despite prior exfoliation - but other similar products have had the same effect on my skin. I would definitely recommend!

Quick Take: gradual, long lasting, nice color
I was very impressed at how nicely this color came out. And it lasted almost an entire week. Which was great, except I used it prior to a warm-weather vacation and I wished it hadn't lasted so long because my ankles and knees looked awful. I'd imagine with some practice this can be rectified. But since you can't see the color as it is going on, it may be difficult. And at this price I wouldn't want to waste money trying to figure out how to get it right.

Best sunless tanner for novices

I am new to sunless tanner, but I have found the cloths to be very easy to use. Just be sure to moisturize hands and feet before using and it comes out great. Much easier than the sprays that inevitably give you streaks. Plus it makes skin soft and smooth.

Quick Take: easy to use
My search for the perfect self tanner is over! It gives me even coverage, and really makes my skin glow. I had only planned on using these during the summer months, but they make my skin look and feel so nice, I'm going to use them year round. The color doesn't rub off on clothing or sheets either... Gotta love that!

These towelletes deliver a great color, but it looks blotchy on hands and feet. The exfoliation is not that amazing but otherwise this is a great tanning product. The color lasts for about a week. It says that you can see the results within an hour, but you see the full results the next day.

Quick Take: very light in color
I'm a very fair skinned person and have experience with all sorts of self tanning products. First time trying a towel and barely no color showed up on me. It was so light and to me so not worth it. It says it helps with bumps and exfoliating on legs, but it seemed to make me much more bumpy than i've ever been. It was weird, like I had a reaction to the product. It may work for you if you want about a tone darker than your skin tone, but that's all your gonna get.

This product is very hard to control when apply and it's terribly blotchy. I am very embarrassed by the outcome and have to cover up my arms and legs when possible. It also smells like corn chip. What a disaster. Wish I had never tried it.

I'm fair and was never able to find a self-tanner that looked like a real tan. Dr. Gross' Alpha Beta Glow Pads look like a real tan and the "tan" looks even, though I wasn't really sure that I was applying it evenly. I did get too much around my ankles and feet, and the color does get blotchy as it begins to fade if you don't continue to apply it. It lasts a long time, however. I like that it also exfoliates. I'm usually covered in sunscreen and everyone was surprised to see me with a tan. No one guessed that it wasn't real. It does have an odor, but it's not as disagreeable as other self-tanners.

I tried these after using the Kate Somerville version and I hands down like the KS tanner better. These left me looking orange and unnatural. I was also much darker on my legs which is where I started, compared to my upper body and arms. Even after exfoliating, I was still left with blotchy areas particularly around my feet. It is clear so you can't see where you covered, and these also left my hands very orange even though I washed them thouroughly afterwards. I also felt very sticky after applying the tanner. The KS tanner did not do any of these things. Even though the KS tanner is a more gradual tan, it is more natural looking and still pretty easy for an inexperienced self tanner to use despite applying clear.

These were recommended to me b/c the tanning towelettes I wanted were not available in store, only online. Because it goes on colorless, it is extremely difficult to make sure you are applying evenly- although the other brand I prefer are the same way and I had no problems. My tan came out blotchy/ streaky and it really has a potent smell until you shower

Quick Take: easy to use
This is the first self tanner that I've used that has not left streaks or uneven tone. I had to have my husband do my back, which is a hard spot to reach and i started putting cream on my knees, ankles and elbows first so it does not leave too much pigment here. Other than that, I've enjoyed by safely tanned skin!
