I really like the texture of this and it feels lovely going on but definitely balls up under foundation. You can only use if you wear it alone.

Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural, feels like a treatment serum, no filmy spf texture
After trying several highly-rated SPF's that each gave me at least one breakout and all felt like.... sunblock... I sucked it up and bought this one because I'd gotten a sample of it when I purchased the Ceramic cleanser. This SPF is AMAZING. It's actually SPF 54 but is marked as 30+. The texture is fabulous, a little tacky (but not in a bad way), it feels like a slightly creamy treatment serum. And it basically IS a treatment serum. It is so much more than an SPF, it actually makes my skin feel smoother and protected each time I use it. Never before have I used an SPF and felt DECADENT while putting it on my skin. This does NOT feel like sunblock and yet it offers great protection and a great base for makeup. No breakouts, just clear, protected skin that feels delicious. It is SHOCKINGLY expensive, yes, but I don't believe in rating a product on price since we can all see that info. The rating is based on quality and performance.

love other sunday riley products, (especially good genes) but this sunscreen flaked off in little white bits when i tried to put any make-up over it. almost like it had a waxy finish that rubbed off. will return, sadly because i had high hopes! any other suggestions for sunscreens that are supposed to be good for your face?

I am a stickler for good sunscreen, and I have tried nearly all of the offerings from the upscale brands. This one is my favourite so far – and also the most expensive one to boot. I wish it were cheaper, but I think you get what you pay for: a non-greasy, nearly unscented product that seeps into the skin evenly, leaving a healthy glow to the skin. You don't have to worry about 'the sunblock scent' because this doesn't have it. You also needn't worry about having a white-cast on your face. This works perfectly under your makeup and is a beautiful edition to your skincare routine.

Fantastic product. Skin is like velvet (or cashmere), doesn't make you greasy, foudation goes on like a dream. Sunscreen is great.. everything about this product is fantastic. Her line is WORTH THE MONEY, trust me.

Sunday Riley has found a way to make us like sunscreen. No small feat! How many bottles do you own that you pushed to the back of your counter because they felt awful or worse, they caused your pores to revolt on the first hot day?
This sunscreen is beautiful on its own. I don't know how she does it, but Sunday's formulations each do remarkable things for the health and the looks of your skin. This is no exception. Each of her products are designed to work beneficially in combination. Imagine wearing a sunscreen that doesn't show up except to enhance your skin. There is no tell tale sunscreen stain. And you will be well protected.
