Holy grail product
-05.03.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, acne-clearing, rock star!!!
This product does everything it says it does and MORE. I've been using this serum for 3 weeks now and it has completely turned around my skin. I have highly sensitive, acne-prone and eczema-prone skin, with an oily T-zone that tends to react to almost everything. So needless to say, I'm always combating a blotch of "something." After using this product, not only has the redness on my face died down, but so has my acne! And the perennially clogged pores on my chin and nose have decreased in size by at least 50%, probably more. Plus, I CANNOT recall a time in my life when my skin has been this soft and smooth. It has also decreased the amount of oil-production in my T-zone area. I've tried just about every skincare line here on Sephora, and none of them come close to providing the results that I get from using this product alone.
This is how I recommend using the product. The Juno Transformative Lipid Serum is more like a dry oil than an actual serum. And a little bit goes a long way (1/2 a pump is more than enough for my entire face and throat area). I squirt it on my hand, then use two fingers to dot it evenly ALL over my face. Then I massage it into my skin, and I think this is the most crucial step to achieving optimal results: really work the product into the skin by giving yourself a 1-minute facial massage. When I first started using this serum, I didn't do that, and I wasn't seeing any benefits from using this product. I almost ended up returning it, but thank God I didn't! So don't forget to REALLY massage this product into your skin. It will make a world of difference!
This serum does have an herbally odor, but that's because it is all natural, and made with various types of beneficial oils. The fragrance does go away after a short while once you apply the serum onto your face. And like some other reviewers mentioned, this bottle does leak. But I noticed that it only happens if I shake the bottle. Any excess that does leak out is pretty minimal, and I just end up rubbing that excess into my hands.

Great serum but...
-03.28.13
Quick Take: moisturizing
Great moisturizing lipid based serum, especially helpful during drier winter months. One thing that I found particularly annoying was the leaking bottle. Had to return because I hated the idea of wasting it and every time it would leave oily marks on my night stand. For an expensive product like this, leaky bottle is unacceptable!

Great for Hydration
-03.04.13
Quick Take: hydrating
I think this product is excellent for skin that doesn't absorb other moisturizers well. However, the smell is not agreeing with me! It has a very strong wheat-grassy/oily smell....best I can describe it, and I think it takes about an hour to go away. If you can stand the smell, it is a great product and will bring back the luster to your skin.

this oil is truly the holy grail of all skin products. I have tried it all expensive and inexpensive. This oil completely plumps and evens out my skin. when you use it you can feel the luxury behind the brand. i couldnt recommend this product more- the scent i happen to love (it smells like olive oil) but not all do

Quick Take: moisturizing, heavy scent
This oil is very good. I'm on my second or third bottle. I have very dry, sensitive skin that is also very acne prone (kind of a nightmare) and this oil gives me the kind of intense moisturizing that I was missing out on from creams but doesn't make me break out. It does have an intense herbal scent - not unpleasant to me, but very strong - but it does fade.

Probably too pricey
-12.31.12
Quick Take: nice bu too expensive
This is a lovely oil but I am not sure it is extra-special enough to justify the price - I mean, really, it's awfully expensive. Anyway, absorbs well and keeps skin very soft. Does smell like Italian dressing but that fades quickly. I am going through it VERY quickly (super dry skin) which is another strike against repurchase for me.

Smells quite strong. Not that amazing but seems potent enough. I am still not sure what it was supposed to do, maybe it is for more mature skin. I did not see any change in anything after 4 weeks of use.

Instant glow
-12.01.12
I like to put one pump of the serum on my palm, rub them together to evenly distribute on my palms, raise my hands to my face and inhale for the wonderful green aroma. Then I gently pat all over my face to apply. It gives me an instant glow, and is not oily this way.

Healthy Glow
-11.13.12
Quick Take: hydrating, glow
I love Sunday Riley, they are my only skincare providers. Juno is the only oil I trust, I complain alot about oils on my face and I find oil helps me control my natural oil production somehow- IT IS BEYOND AMAZING! It gives me a healthy, natural glow.
It does look a bit shiny at first but two minutes later it looks beautiful and just right for a good 10 hours. I wish they would make a travel version so I could put it in my purse. I am afraid to break the glass.

Amazing!
-10.16.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, a must have, never greasy
I use many of the Sunday Riley products. In order to achieve maximum results and benefits, you must determine which products work best for your skin type and then layer the skin care treatments. The Sunday Riley website will assist you in matching the products for maximum efficiency. I use Good Genes at night, along with the Juno. In the a.m. I use the Skin Adrenaline. As far as the price is concerned, the benefits far outweigh the price tag. I personally will not put a price tag on look-in good! Enjoy!

THE BEST!!!!!!!!
-09.26.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, wrinkle softening
I just ordered my second bottle and still can't believe the difference it has made in my skin! Lines and wrinkles softened considerably. I have tried 2 other popular oils and this is the BEST because it does what it says!

Holy Grail of Cosmetic OIls...
-09.13.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
This is my HG of face oils. It's really a dry oil so it sinks in and then doesn't sit on top of the skin. My skin is literally radiant and glowing but not oily. I use this morning (just a bit) and night - I've never seen such a difference with any single product! It smells like berries and something leafy (I like the smell!), and then the scent leaves after about 30 seconds - but the effects last all day!

Great Product...NOT reformulating!
-08.12.12
Quick Take: moisturizing
After reading the below review, I was concerned to try the Sunday Riley products but before I gave up on them I wanted to check the facts. I emailed Sunday Riley's customer service (customerservice@sundayriley.com) and was shocked when I received an email back from Sunday herself! She informed me the vicious rumors of reformulating with cheaper ingredients are entirely false and have not even a small shred of truth to them.
Having Sunday Riley herself take my questions so seriously as well as her kind and fast response have definitely convinced me to become a customer and I have a feeling I will be for life!
I ordered Juno as well as Good Genes and Ceramic Slip and am so excited to try the products!

Smells odd, but seems to work okay
-07.26.12
Quick Take: oily, smells weird
The first thing I noticed was the peculiar aroma-it sort of smells like wet oak leaves. It has a nice texture, however, and is very moisturizing. I found it best to use 1 pump and rub it between my palms prior to patting it on, rather than the 2 pumps recommended. If you have oily skin, this product is not for you. The price is also somewhat off-putting, as it seems functionally similar to other products that are much less expensive and that smell better. Sort of a let-down after using the Ceramic Slip Cleanser and the Good Genes treatment, in my opinion.

Not Your Best Luxury Dry Oil Option
-06.26.12
I love the theory behind this Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum -- I like that it has antioxidant properties, it's in a lightweight dry oil form, and it's unlike many serums on the market right now that are very drying. I wanted something that makes my skin better overall.
This serum does a fairly good job in that regard, but one thing you have to consider with this serum is layering. If you use vitamin C, retinol, salicylic acid, etc., you might want to forego this particular serum because it already contains so many other ingredients (including natural retinol, vitamin c, etc.). Applying too much of these can be irritating, and if you have certain issues with your skin that require certain ingredients, it might be difficult for you to determine just when to use this serum.
Another problem I had with this product was the smell. It fades somewhat quickly, and I usually have a pretty high tolerance, but my goodness is it unpleasant. Personally, I smell savory, herb-y cooking oil that has been left to sit out for too long (not the best thing to wake up to in the morning!).
My personal feeling is that if you're going to purchase an expensive luxury skincare product, it should be a joy and a pleasure to use (or at least have an odor that fades instantaneously). I believe that this can be a good product if it's exactly what you're looking for, but I prefer using another oil with great ingredients and a fantastic smell for a hydrating glow.

I love the natural ingredients in Sunday Riley's products. They worked well for my skin, but the product is too pricey!
Get rid of the fancy packaging and lower the cost!

Moisturizing!
-05.18.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I absolutely adore this serum. My skin is normal to dry, that unfortunately flakes on the very top of my forehead, near my hairline. I was looking for a serum that I could layer underneath my moisturizer. Also, I tend to have fine wrinkles between my eyebrows along with smile lines.
This serum has the perfect consistency. Upon pumping, it is very runny, almost like olive oil. It might sound a little off-putting, but as you massage it into your skin, it dries and does not leave an oily feeling. It also plumps up my lines for the time being. I truly believe most lines and wrinkles come from dehydration, so, if you're looking for hydration, this is IT.
Overall, it has not broken me out. It gives my skin a great glow (I have been blessed with sensitive, but very non-problematic skin.) I don't think it will give you any life changing results - for example, getting rid of your acne. It is just meant for a burst of moisture. At night, I use my eye cream, layer on Juno, and pat on an Algenist night cream. During the day, I use about half as much, and layer on Hourglass' Mineral Primer SPF 15. I then top with a light powder.
One negative, however, is the smell of oregano. It is pretty strong as you're layering it on, but, it quickly fades. I'm glad SR didn't decide to put in massive loads of fragances to mask the smell - otherwise it wouldn't be deemed as natural. It is quite expensive, but, I love the formulation.

God-send
-04.24.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I've been using Juno for over a year now (first started purchasing SR products from Barneys) and I can't live without it. It quenches my dry skin and gives me a lovely glow, especially when used in conjunction with Skin Adrenaline. I keep hoping I can find a less expensive oil to replace Juno (the expensive price is the one downside) but so far nothing else compares!
