LOVE

I don't know what I ever did without this product. You may think I am exaggerating, but the lines in my forehead are almost gone and the lines around my eyes have softened. I'm almost done with my first bottle and already ordered a second. I don't want to go a day without this product. I only use it at night and my skin looks fabulous!

Nice glow and dew look

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
On my second bottle. I have learned to use less and have the bottle last longer. Use instead of moisturizer on warm days. Smells divine.

Awesome Natural Product!!!
-05.11.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing, brightening, reduces uneven tone
This stuff is amazing. The ingredients are top grade and proven to work. Putting all these ingredients together is sheer genius. Immediate results. Great feeling and texture. Only a pea sized amount needed. I received this as a sample. I will not be purchasing due to the high price for the amount of product. If you can afford it it's worth the price.

Loved it
-05.11.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing
I received a sample of this and decided to apply it as a mask before bed and sleep in it. At first it was very tingly and a bit uncomfortable. I was worried my skin was having a bad reaction to it and was debating on removing it. So glad I didn't! The tingling went away within ten minutes and I woke up with very soft clear skin! I was so excited that I ran to the computer to order some. Then disappointment hit when I saw how much it cost! While I really like it, this just isn't in my budget right now. Bummer, but if it is yours I would order!

Truly delivers
-05.09.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing
This serum truly does what it says. My skin has improved. It now is luminous and radiant, the tone is more even. I use it every night and follow it with either Marula or Argan oils. My skin is less stressed since using this serum. My skin is very sensitive, so anything harsh will make my skin sting and turn beet red, not attractive, but this product does not do that. Love it.

Quick Take: stinks, burns
I received a sample with an order. I couldn't leave it on my skin longer than 5 minutes because of the smell. It almost reminded me of burnt rubber. It also left my normally dry skin greasy and unpleasant feeling.

Sample sized goodness
-04.27.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing
I received a sample of this in my last order from Sephora. I've been looking for a good mask and thought I would attempt this since the directions say it can be worn as a mask for 20 minutes. My initial reaction was that it smelled funny and tingled a bit on my face. Enough that I wasn't sure I could keep the product on my face for the full 20 minutes. I stuck it out and I'm very happy with the result. As soon as I wiped it off I could feel that my face was softer, but the best part was three open acne marks on my chin were greatly reduced in size and were much less noticeable. I'm going to see if I can get a better sample from the store before committing to a $100 purchase though.

Stinks!!
-04.24.13
I got a large sample of this stuff and just can't handle the "lemon pledge with a hint of self-tanner" smell. Blech! I read the other reviews and agree with the goopy, slimy glue-like substance. Hurray for samples so I don't waste my money! Thumbs DOWN. Algenist serum was a much better match for me.

Good mask
-04.24.13
Quick Take: hydrating
I got this as a sample and used it as a mask since I am on Retin-A(don't have acne but I read that if you start good skin care habits in your 20s, it'll pay off in your 40s) and I like how it makes my skin feel. And if you have company over, they won't get freaked out by the mask.

Way too sticky, like glue
-04.20.13
Quick Take: sticky slimy and gross
I don't know how in the heck people are getting good results, as this was a major FAIL for me. First, I could hardly stand how sticky, slimy, and gross this feels. Who could stand it?? If I was able to leave it on for a few hours, all I saw was that the lesions or acne would dry out. But I can get that same result with a $6 pimple cream from the drugstore. I did see a tiny bit of cleaner pores, however, nothing so extreme as to make me want to keep this. Sephora, this is on its way back to you.

Initial review
-04.17.13
I bought Good Genes along with Ceramic slip cleanser. I have used each only twice so far. However, my results were so immediate and wonderful, I thought I'd write a brief, initial review incase any VIBs wanted to still place an order during chic week. My skin is normally pretty normal, except I have enlarged pores on my nose and the very rare pimple. I have noticed my skin is smoother and even toned. My pores are cleaner and smaller. Truly impressive after 2 washes. I know these items are pricey but, so far, I'm happy I took the chance, listened to the reviews and ordered these items.

refining, exfoliating, plumping goodness!
-04.08.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, line-plumping, pore-refining
I'm always skeptical about products that get as much hype as SR's, but my experiences have only been good. I'll note that I didn't buy the stuff from Sephora as they don't sell it in Canadian stores, but if they start to stock it here I will most certainly buy it from Sephora!
This product does what it says. It definitely gives some instant brightness, and then when worn overnight, it exfoliates and refines. From my first use, I could already tell the next day that my pores were tighter, I had fewer blackheads, my skin was soft, smooth and exfoliated, and I had NO REDNESS! Also, I had a bit of milia from using a previous product (or who knows why) and GG helped to get rid of the milia! I wouldn't say I wake up with radiant skin, but that's ok - because it is making my skin look more perfected and plumping my lines like nothing else!
I only hope the effects continue...I've used it for 5 nights in a row as instructed but I might keep going for a few more just to see how good my skin can get.
If you have dryer skin like me, you might want to use this under moisturizer or face oil. I also use Start Over eye cream and Juno oil and have been enjoying it all. It is definitely pricey but so far worth the money -- of course, I do wish we got a bit more product for the money as I can see myself using this up (and I am such a skincare junkie that I rarely use products up bc I'm always trying new things...).
I will say that while there is no visible irritation, my skin is a bit itchy with continued use. I think this is because of all the natural ingredients...they are good for skin but many natural ingredients can be irritants for sensitive skin. So keep it in mind and request samples of SR stuff before you buy.

Sunday Riley
-04.04.13
Quick Take: smoothing, wrinke reducing, softening
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and so far i really love it. Ive been using this in conjunction with Bionic and honestly felt like it has transformed my skin. I have nice skin in general, but lately i had been feeling like it was looking dull and it seemed like wrinkles were beginning to set in.... I had honestly begun to worry that it might be time for some more aggressive intervention. But right now this Sunday Riley has given me a new lease on my skin... or at least i hope it will help me go longer without having to do anything drastic. I have gotten so many compliments. And the texture of my skin feels softer and smoother.... I gave this 4 stars because i want to see how it works over a longer period of time. If i continue to love the results they will get a 5 from me.

Hydrating
-03.28.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
This stuff makes my skin feel great!! It's very hydrating, moisturizing, and my dull winter skin looks radiant!
The only gripe I have with this product is that it doesn't last very long given the price. My first bottle lasted me about 2 months (use 3/4 of a pump morning and night as a serum).

Brightens and refines skin!
-03.15.13
Quick Take: anti-aging
This is a terrific product. Pricey but, hey, if it helps make my skin look great with purer, safer ingredients I think it is worth it. Within three weeks I have noticed a reduction in fine lines and my skin looks smoother, tighter and more even toned. Will definitely budget to add this to my regular skin care routine.

This is as good as it gets!!!! Love it!!!
-02.08.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, life changing, clears redness & inflamation, use this at night time
This treatment is like a kinda like a serum (but not sticky or oily) and smells great. It is lightweight, non oily, and absorbs into the skin just they way you want it to. I have sensitive, pale, roseacia infected skin and this product has transformed my face in about 2 weeks. I am a normal color now - no redness/ acne/ spots/ peeling. My face looks great.
At first you may think that the price is high but if you decide to try a bottle I guarantee that you will be a devoted user. Definetly worth the price because it shows results.

AMAZING
-02.05.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing
This is hands down the best product I have found in years, maybe ever! I use it 2x a day and my skin is transformed after only 1 month. I no longer have any breakouts and my acne scaring is fading. My skin looks so pretty and smooth, and it feels like silk. I LOVE LOVE this and would not go with out it! It does take about a week or two to get accustomed to it, but after that its amazing.

Good stuff
-01.25.13
Three weeks in, I have clean pores, smooth, brighter skin. This is the best my skin has looked in my adult life. But don't believe that any product can make your pores smaller......what it can do is clean them thoroughly. With this and Boscia's makeup/breakup oil cleanser, I' m in pretty good shape. Oh, and my "driver's spots" on the left side of my neck are quite faded.
If it were cheaper that would be great, but I'm not one to slather stuff on because you get no additional benefit from wasting product, so I'm good. Will repurchase as long as they make this.
