Great color but....
-05.18.13
Quick Take: fantastic color
I purchased the Sand Dune which is gold. I guess the correct color would be a sandy gold. The color is not too gold or green so it's looks like it's pewter or silver BUT I found the consistency a little bit gunky. It got sticky quick when I was applying it Soo it's going back.

Love!!

I got the strawberry milkshake color-it is phenomenal! I normally don't write reviews but I love it so much I had to! The strawberry milkshake color isn't sheer and doesn't require many coats, plus it is really shiny and makes my hands look tanner! Absolutely love it!

best!
-05.09.13
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying, chip resistent
I bought the oil slick and fashionista sista. The oil slick is the best nail polish I have ever used. Both of the colours are great but the oil slick lasts for days without chipping, as well as looking amazing! Fashionista Sista is also a really good colour but chipped after about 5 days.

I wish I could like you :(

Quick Take: fast-drying
Ok, so I will admit that I only purchased this because of the packaging. I am a nail polish addict so I figured why not. Ordered the color MISTRESS. First coat was..thin, very sheer. Second coat...Getting a little better, but still not the opaque red I wanted. Third coat, starting to look OK. It took all of 7 hours at work for this to start chipping! Even with a base & top coat.
L'Oreal "Rendezvous" is a great dupe, better formula, more opaque, and longer lasting and it's $10 less. I probably won't be buying another Ciate polish and I'll just stick to OPI, China Glaze, and Essie which all seem to be A LOT better.
Two stars for drying fast and adorable packaging! That's about it. Save your money if you're thinking about buying MISTRESS

Beautiful polish
-03.20.13
Quick Take: fast-drying, chip resistent, colors are to die for
I bought tweed and tails, It is gorgeous. But I cannot use base coat. NO BASE COAT. Otherwise it chips off immediately. At least it did on me. So I put on 2 coats of pollish only. I change polish every 2 or 3 days, but it stays lovely for this amount of time.

I love the vibrant colors and the easy application. The brush is thick and holds onto the polish very well. I don't think the polish is too thick, you just need to wipe off the extra polish on the inside neck of the bottle, like usual. I got a set of these polishes for Christmas, and now Ciate is the only brand I will use.

I like the color. But the brush is hard to use. And the polish is too thick.

Love This Brand
-02.16.13
Quick Take: chip resistent, vibrant color
I tried ciate nail polish in cupcake queen and I absolutely loved it. 2 moderately thin coats of polish gave me a totally opaque finish. It also lasted for 5 days without a single chip. As for the color, it was a very Valentine's Day-worthy bright pink.

Gorgeous . . . while it lasts
-02.04.13
I got this in Spending Spree, which is a beautiful light brown/gold color. It's just right for my skin tone, and looks fantastic--while it lasts. But that's the thing.
Whenever I've used this polish, I use a base coat (Sephora's strengthener/base coat), two coats of the Spending Spree, and a quick-dry topcoat. By the next morning, it's always cracked. By the evening of the next day, it's almost always gone. All gone. It just chips right off the nails, along the cracks.
If I could find a way to make this stay on my nails, I'd use it constantly. It's that beautiful a color. But as it stands, I'm going to have to test out some different topcoats with it before giving it all five stars.

Oil Slick
-02.03.13
Quick Take: fast-drying
This is a very unique nail polish, and the color oil slick is very on trend right now. It goes opaque in one coat which is very nice if you like to do your nails in a hurry. It dries very quickly and does not chip easily, but I would not say that it lasts longer than other brands that I have used. Overall, I think that this is a good brand with very trendy colors.

Great Color - Dries Quick!
-01.25.13
Quick Take: chip resistent, fast-drying
I got the "Oil Slick" greenish-gold iridescent color and it looks beautiful on. It dries quickly too. :)
Bit expensive tho so I probably won't buy any other shades.

Too Runny
-01.19.13
I bought this in Strawberry Milkshake, expecting great things from a $15 nail polish with an awesome color. I even used the tester in-store on one hand and loved it! The tester must have been dried out considerably. It gave full coverage in two coats, whereas the one I purchased was very runny and had low pigmentation. I had to return it.

Chips In a Day
-01.18.13
I bought a set of the Ciate at Christmas. I was so excited to get all of the colors and play with the Caviar. The polish is very thing, so the colors are pale. The Caviar actually works pretty good and helps the polish not to chip, but I do not have time to use the Caviar all the time, plus I wanted to use it on just a copy nails - all ten is pretty overwhelming. I will never buy this brand again. I plan to use the Caviar with other brands of polish that don't chip in one day.

Beautiful color
-01.12.13
Quick Take: not fast-drying-not chip resistent, not long wearing
I bought Tweeds and Tails. It is gorgeious while it lasts. Which is about 2 hours. I have tried different base coats, I have tried roughing my nails with a file. No difference, I am going to try without base coat. If no difference, I will then discard a $15 nail polish. Wish me luck.

Simply a wonderful product line
-01.12.13
I am very particular about my nail polish & typically when I do my own mani-pedi it lasts at least 7-10 days. This polish lives up to my high standards. It has a great brush for easy/full application. It is true to color and this is truly a unique color - people will ask you where you got this color because it looks so amazing.
