perfect diameter for the cheeks. makes on the go application easy (don't even need a mirror). The colours go very well with the skin. Wish the colours would stay longer though. Not very hydrating as a lip balm, but i'd buy it again just for cheek colour. The argan oil might cause tingly sensation for the eyes though...

Quick Take: moisturizing, cute
I picked these up somewhat impulsively on my last trip into a Sephora store. I'd tried an argan stick before with a sampler, and though I loved the color I found it ended up greasy on my cheeks and was somewhat tricky to blend. This set looked so cute I decided to give it one more try.
I'm so glad I did! The colors in this kit go on a little more sheer than the one I had tried before, making them easier to blend for a natural look, and the colors look great on their own or added over another shade of blush to give an extra pop on the apples of your cheeks. I'm quite fair, and I'm not sure how much these colors would show up on more pigmented skin tones. For me they also show up on my lips really nicely and again the look is a nice, sheer pop of color that's not sticky and smells great!
The one I've been using the most so far though is the clear stick - its so hydrating on my lips, and I've been using a little under my eyes before bed since I ran out of eye cream. I wake up with super soft lips and the skin under my eyes looks refreshed.
Overall, I really love this little set. Its so versatile and moisturizing, definitely recommend.

I bought these because I had a mini one that I had received in another set. I love the colors for cheeks, but they dry out my lips badly! I thought the clear one would be great to put on before I went to bed or throughout the day to keep my lips moist and instead it dried my lips out to the point where they started flaking. While the colors are great, unless you plan on using them just for your cheeks I would not purchase this set if you have plans on using them on your lips.

Disappointed

Quick Take: not for lips
I usually love most of Josie's products. I've always generally found the quality to be top-notch, but not these color sticks. They are disappointing. The color is not pigmented enough & worst of all they're drying if applied on the lips! I initially thought that hydration wouldn't be an issue because of the argan oil, but I was wrong. There is also a very unpleasant aroma & taste to these mini cheekers. The price is way too high for such an unimpressive set. I'd recommend this item be skipped.

I was originally going to pick up the single bottle of "Rosey" Lip and Cheek Color until I saw this little 4 pack for just a few dollars more. I love trying a new color everyday. The Summer Lovin is very similar to Nars Orgasm, Poppy is a bright pink colour great for daytime brightness, and Rosey is a very classic natural looking colour for evening. I love love love the smell, it reminds me of Aveda products. My only complaint is that I didn't find they were great for lip color. They aren't as moist as your usual lip chap and kind of cake off. Also the blush itself isn't an all day wear, but during the summer months, I'm ok with that. I don't want it to look heavy and last all day/night. Overall, love this kit!

I started using the clear stick every night around my lips and now cannot live without it. I love the poppy pink & dusty rose sticks for lips and cheeks. Goes on kinda greasy but mostly absorbs and gives a youthful glow. So fast & easy - one product and you are good to go. Love it.

Quick Take: moisturizing, smells great
I find this set a great value. The products are almost a combo of NARS multiple and the TARTE cheek stain sticks, both of which I love. A little goes a long way, and I know for me the products will last a long time. The colors are very different, and you of course can use them together. The POPPY is my favorite, very bright but natural. Summer Lovin is shimmery and is very similar to NARS orgasm color. Rosey is very sultry. I love the way they smell, a clean almost lemmony smell. I bought this kit because I love color sticks but also because Josie Maran products have always been good for my skin. I have gotten several Aragan oil vials as samples and have loved using them everywhere. Most importantly I bought this to try out the clear moisturizing stick. I recently had surgery and am looking for products to help with the scar healing. I use the clear stick on the scar, it makes for super easy application and is great for when I massage the scar. I use it daily. Since I slather that one all over my scar many times a day, the clear one is starting to run low. I have had it for a few weeks and its almost halfway gone. Lucky for me, there is a full size of this clear moisturizing stick, which I will be buying soon!

I really love all of these. They go on so smooth and soft. Dont tug at all on the skin. They look great either on the lips or on the cheeks.
Have the clear next to my bed. :)

Nice set, I especially love the clear as a lip balm. really moisturizes chapped lips. The colors are nice, but don't last very long, especially on cheeks, just absorbs to quickly.

Quick Take: great for cheeks and lips and even your hair.
I purchased this because my daughter had lost her lip balm from fresh and for almost the same price I got 4 products. But they work on your lips and cheeks and even on your hair. The product is really good and smells great. I look forward to trying new Josie Maran products.

Quick Take: josie maran summer lovin gift set
First off the smell is kinda funky. Second, you have to really press hard in order to get the cheek colour to go on. It's very light.However, once you figure out how to do this adequately, the colours are lovely.The good news is you can wear this alone or with other face products.I wouldn't say this is Summer lovin' but, it's still pretty nice.

I like almost everything about this set. The product is versatile (can wear on lips or on cheeks), it's buildable, and all the colors look great. The only thing that I do not like about this is that it has a very strong smell. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it smells like ginger. If you don't mind the smell, then I highly recommend that you try these out!

Although the sticks are small, they will last forever - a little goes a long way. All the colors are cute, but my favorite is "summer lovin'" - it gives such a nice glow. I have pale skin and feel like all the colors compliment my skin well. I haven't really tried them on my lips, but like that they can be worn that way too. Not really sure how I'll use the clear stick, but I like that it is so versatile.

Love the color sticks - gives a nice natural glow. Already have color Summer Lovin in larger size and now I have smaller size for on the go. Love all colors minus the poppy; a little too birght for me. But still a good deal. The clear is great as a balm for day or night and awesome on the cuticles.
