Quick Take: fades, washes
Okay .. there are def pro's and con's to this product.
I started out with a large sample, and after the sample I purchased it knowing the pro's and con's of the product.
Pro's: On days between self tanning/spray tanning, it is a great way to keep your color and give yourself that little touch of a sunkissed glow UNDER your makeup. On days where my face is getting paler than my body due to frequent washing, it def helps make my makeup look natural. It gives a sheer tan color that looks natural and does not collect in your hairline/make acne marks darker.
Cons: First of - this is NOT a gradual self-tanner. This is a daily sheer bronzer. Washes off at the end of the day. This product will NEVER build a tan on your face. In a million years. In fact, if I put it on my face when I am pale, if I drink water it will wash off and leave a pale ring around my mouth from it rinsing off. :(
Like it enough, but def. will not purchase again. Will research alternatives.

NOT a self-tanner
-03.11.13
Quick Take: shimmering
This is much more like a makeup-a very thick dark makeup! I sampled in the store and was not impressed at all. I went with the Bare Minerals Faux Tan Face-much better and more natural looking then this stuff.

Not excited about how silvery/glowing
-03.03.13
Quick Take: shimmering, very metqalic
Not thrilled with how I looked as I was applying it. It is very metallic looking. Not like a normal bronzer. I am glad all I got was a sample.

Not a self tanner
-02.07.13
I was very excited to use this product, and honestly it's just not what it claims to be. This is a pretty dark liquid bronzer that comes off with even a sip of water. I put it on four nights in a row and woke up more disappointed each morning. There is no gradual tan it leaves no color on your skin because it washes right off.

I got this as sample; if you consider the "gradual" in the name, it's misleading. The product is rather dark, nothing like moisturizers with a bit of self-tanner that shows after 3 days of use. It made me dark orange after one application...

Natural looking face tanner and it has no weird smell! I doesn't last as long as I would like but I also use a clarisonic everyday so I am likely just taking it off. Some tanners make your pores look clogged after application but not this one!
Great product for some quick natural looking color.

Nice Glow
-11.19.12
Quick Take: long lasting
I like the glow it creates on my skin, there are a few flaws to note. First, the smell is metallic and not pleasant, but luckily fades. Second, it dries very quickly, so just make sure you spread it fast. Third, I would not classify this as a self-tanner - it is more accurately just a liquid bronzer. I like that there's no blinding glitter to it.
Since it has a nice result, I won't return it. But I don't think I will purchase it again.

Fantasastic!
-09.30.12
Quick Take: long lasting, no breakouts, natural-looking
I've tried virtually every self-tanner for face out there...from Jergen's to Dior, Clarins, Lancome, etc. This is the 1st self-tanner for Face that doesn't cause me to break out. Other self-tanners cause me to break out with every application--and before I even see any results. This self-tanner gives my very pale face a beautiful natural looking glow--with only 1 application!

NOT for fair skinned girls!
-09.27.12
Quick Take: shimmering, dark bronzer
I was really excited about this product because it was recommended both by a beauty magazine and by the woman helping me at the store. I wish I had been warned that the color is exceptionally dark. I am naturally blonde and this stuff is not very easy to blend so it's easy to get it stuck in your hairline/eyebrows. It also doesn't seem to have much DHA in it (the ingredient that produces a sunless tan when it reacts with the protein in your skin) so it's more of a cosmetic bronzer than sunless tanner. Again, I was really excited because the woman working raved about it but now I have a full tube that I'll never use bc it's just too dark. Negative points for the bad smell as well.

Not a gradual self tanner, more like a bronzer. Does wipe off. Natural looking but it is pretty dark. You only need a little.

Really nice, natural looking color though it is a little dark. Also, it wipes off if you sweat. It is more like a bronzer than a self tanner.

HORRIBLE
-09.20.12
Quick Take: streaky, not natural, not gradual, horrible
EEW, NO! I am a total product junkie who spends hundreds of dollars a month on this site and I have never once felt the need to write a bad review. But this is quite possibly the worst product, high end, drugstore, or otherwise, that I have EVER tried. I received the ample and decided to give it a try. It claims to be "A bronzing gradual self-tanner for the face" but there is NOTHING GRADUAL about it. The product smears on as a DARK shade of brown and barely blends down to anything resembling a natural color. I used a dime sized amount as the directions specified and when I got done it looked like I had streakily applied bronzer 5 shades too dark for my medium skin tone ALL OVER MY FACE. I did not wait to see if it 'sunk in' and toned down because I was too scared so I washed it right off. You have been warned.

Smells like melted pennies.
-09.17.12
It does have this deep scent. Nonetheless, it goes on strong once you put it on. It's not bad; I enjoyed it. I'd say the only con to this is the scent. Good for temporary use, then it fades after rinsing.

Great instant bronzer
-08.20.12
Quick Take: instant bronzer
This product goes on strong, so less is more. It gives a great instant bronze, but needs to be toned a bit with foundation, and for me, pressed powder. It is definitely not a gradual self tanner -- its effects wash away when you wash your face. But for an instant bronzer, it's great. Just be sure to start with a small pea sized amount, and blend it well into hairline and down jaw feathering down neckline to avoid a mask look. Also, it has has a slight metallic odor, which doesn't linger but may be off-putting.

This gives me such an amazing glow! I have oily skin so I have been using this as my moisturizer too and it work super well! I don't get super shining and it covers up any blemishes I have too! I normally have to use my benefit concealer on my spots but now their is no need! I love this product so much!
P.S. I love how tan it makes me! I get so many compliments! :)

this product is great. it started as a sample packet from a previous order, then i had to get the full size. you only need to use a tiny amount to blend in on your face. gives it a healthy glow, so you don't really need to use too much makeup with it. perfect for any season

-07.31.12
Quick Take: shimmering
You really only need a little bit...a really little but. But if you over do it just keep blending it in with your moisturizer. I use it first, and it is a little crazy looking, then add my moisturizer on top to blend it out and it looks amazing! Without it I am as white as the background of this page and with it I get so many compliments on my beautiful glow.

Love it but...
-07.30.12
I love this product. It gives you such a beautiful color! I have medium skin. It evens out my skin tone and just makes me look like I spent a day at the beach.
The silly thing is that the reviews aren't good for a couple reasons--first, it's not a self tanner! It's a temporary bronzer. It washes away at night. I don't have a problem with that.
The second thing is the directions saying "use a dime sized amount"--no!!!! You will look bright orange. You use not even a pea sized amount. Blend it well with a damp sponge or with your fingers.
It really gives you a more natural tanned look than anything I've tried. It's just a shame that Lorac included these bad instructions and name. I think people would love it otherwise.
