Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, elegant results
First of all, let me admit that I keep buying the same eye shadows over and over again. They may say Urban Decay, Dior, Benefit, Sephora or Hourglass but, for the most part, I just keep falling for and buying the same sorts of colours - taupes, cool browns, more taupes, champagnes, grey tones and various other neutrals. So, once again, I caved and bought this eye shadow quartet in "Les Fumes", knowing full well that I probably have dupes of very colour. But I couldn't resist. This palette looked so irresistible and Guerlain's quality speaks for itself. I SO enjoy using these shadows. They work together beautifully and blend effortlessly. Whether I use just 1 or 2 colours or do a somewhat more involved look using all 4 shadows, the results are always perfect and the finished look is elegant. I don't know what it is about these shadows but they are really something special. The packaging is lovely also - very heavy, luxurious and it whispers "quality". I feel a bit special and spoiled just taking it out to use it.

I own every colors except Les Cuirs and Les Fauves (but I'm planning to buy those soon). These shadows are magnificent - the colors are versatile and usable (i.e. there isn't a color in the palette that you won't use, like many other brands who like to throw in one or two that are left unused because they're too bright, odd, etc.). I have a very light olive complexion and every single palette I own works well with my skin tone. My favorite are Les Perles and the green palette - both have shimmery, unique colors and have staying power and are very pigmented. They last all day and I'm very impressed. A+ for Guerlain, once again.

I bought Les Bois de Rose almost half a year ago and it has become my go-to eyeshadow palette for day and evening. The colors are well-pigmented and mix and match well. There is a good quantity of product and though I have a lot left (and I wear makeup EVERY day), I just ordered Les Perles. Le Bois de Rose really compliments hazel or green eyes; I have gotten so many compliments on how my eyes "pop" and how they look greener when wearing this palette. And that is with about 4 hours sleep and a light touch in the daytime :)

not the same as before

i bought about 3 years a very nice set of eyeshadows from Guerlain and used it every day almost. Since it was about to finish I thought about investing in a new set, but was very disappointed and I returned it. The colors included in this set are way to shimmery and also are sheer in the same time, you put it on and the glitter overcomes the color pigment.

I have Les Verts, Les Gris, and Les Perles, and I might even get number 4 and 7 as well! the quality is really amazing, its wonderfully pigmented, easy to work with, lasts over 12 hours, and as you can tell, I have quite the experience with them, and they have never failed me! what I really like about them is their versatility, taking you from day to night, from using one color to two, three, and even four, while blending wonderfully together and creating quite a pretty eye look! I think that every woman should own at least one of these, I wish I could get them all!

My sister has been trying to get me to try guerlain for years. I can say as a devote Nars fan, this is the first eyeshadow that has even approached the quality I expect. The Les vertes palette is a nice set of jades that gives a wonderful array of options from daytime to nighttime for these hazel eyes. The application is smooth and blendable. the staying power is all day even without a primer. If they came in more fashion forward colors, guerlain would have a full convert. But as it is, what I see so far is a quality classic set of eyeshadows that everyone should give a try.

This is such a beautiful palette. The smokey shimmery colours of Les Fumes really enhance my pale skin, dark hair and eyes. You can go super shimmery and smokey to a natural eye.

I love Guerlain, and have always wanted to try the eyeshadow palettes, I just have never gotten around to it.
I finally decided too after seeing a lovely review online, and she loved it and it looked great with her very similar blue eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.
I bought the quad in 08 les perles. All four shades are shimmery and look almost metallic, there is a grey, silver, taupe color, a shimmer white, a light pink, thats a beautiful lid color, and a dark purple with moderate sheen.
These shades are all nicely pigmented, and last all day with no creasing and no base. I love the buttery-ness of these shades. The compact is golden and features a nice large mirror, is a nice hefty weight, and included a nice double edged sponge applicator, there is also a velvet pouch for the compact.
I am very impressed with my purchase and I am thinking about picking up 06 Les Fumes. If you want quality, please try these out! They are expensive, but I highly recommend.

One of my all time favourite brands for eyeshadow. I agree that this surpasses Dior. The shadows are long lasting and so natural looking. I love this shade of reddish pink... I've tried searching for similar colours in other brands but can hardly find an equivalent that is just as pigmented!

I bought this palette for creating my smoky eye look and I love it. I can go soft smoky and hard smoky with this product and it delivers the effect I want beautifully. I love the colors, how it stays long, and is highly pigmented.

This is an absolutely gorgeous quartet of shadows! The mix of colors really is unlike any other quad I've seen. The deep teal shade is so beautiful and the four shades and textures will combine in endless ways. Lovely! And definitely not the same-old-same-old. I am checking out Les Perles in store soon...I've seen some swatches on beauty blogs that make it looks like a "must have" too.

I have this quad in les fauves and was very hesitant to buy it for the price. However, these colors are amazing on me! They are a neutral coral, which I thought would make me look weird (I am an NC40), however, they have proven to be a wonderful neutral palette that I now wear every day.

The Les Pearles are dark purple, light pink, bright white, and a light gray and all have shimmer/frost. I have been wearing everyday and love them! Can add a damp sponge for a darker look.

I bought the palette no. 4 Les Bois De Rose. At first I was hesitant because of the price. I've now used it several times and I don't regret buying it. The shadows are so smooth, blendable, pigmented, and crease resistant. This palette is perfect. You can create several different looks perfect for day or night that look so beautiful and sofisticated. Definitely worth the price!

Purchased Les Gris because I loved the deep blue color in the set--it is a beautiful shade. The quality of this eyeshadow is 5 star--better than Dior. Blends beautifully. I'm in front of a computer all day long--these shadows last--even under the eye. Please use brushes, not sponge tip applicators. I want another color set and am trying to decide between Les Cuirs or Les Fumes. Tres cher, but worth it.
