Guerlain Guerlain By Emilio Pucci Powder Brush

What it is: An elegant Kabuki-style powder brush. What it does: This brush is designed to work perfectly with the Meteorites Perles d’Azur pigments and to pick up just the right amount of Terra Azzurra Powder. The brush, decked out in chic midnight blue, is stored in a stylish Pucci print pouch. What else you need to know:Guerlain and Emilio Pucci have created an exceptional collaboration between the two prestigious houses that draws inspiration from summertime in Italy. The guiding motif of this second collaboration was inspired by the iconic “Winter Capri” print taken from the archives of the Italian ready-to-wear brand. Exclusively re-colored for this collection, it adds a joyful and elegant Pucci touch to the Guerlain products.

Very sad when my brush arrived. Much smaller than I realized it would be. The bristles were hard and hurt just to test on my face. Needless to say, I returned it. Sephora was awesome about the return and exchange process.

SO CLASSY!
-04.16.13
Quick Take: soft bristles, natural hair
I was skeptical before buying this brush, but it is amazing! It has a very good quality and it seems it is durable. The hairs are natural and soft. I bought the other brush for using Meteorites Perles d’Azur pigments.

Flew for an airline long ago that Emilio designed our uniforms ,luggage and accessories. Gifted design. Easily picked out for his unique designs. I will love the perfection of anything his name is associated with.

Totally nice
-12.26.12
I really liked this because the brush had its own pouch. I keep it in another small makeup bag inmy purse with some powder. My only issue is that I definitely feel like the pouch could have a little more structure. It is half way between no structure at all and totally structured. Maybe they couldn't
Make up their mind. Otherwise love it. I use it with a different brand off powder and of course it works fine.

5 stars only for the météorites
-11.30.12
I only got this for météorites and only use for that. Some may think it's a bit stiff but it needs to be in order to pick up what you need from the little lovely balls. It comes in a fancy case. Quality is unsurpassed as I've been using my brush for months and months daily to lose nary a hair. A must have for the météorites. Would probably apply bronzer/blush or whatever too heavily. It's like a dense hard kabuki brush.

This brush did nothing at all for me. The price and quality don't match up. Bristles were hard and felt too rough on my face it's too bad since it looked nice. I returned it.

Quick Take: natural hair
A woman's personality is reflected in what she carries in her purse. The Pucci case is lovely as well as unique. The brush is excellent quality. I already owned the brush with the regular case but I had to have this! You won't be disappointed!

Eh... Its pretty to look at.

Quick Take: prickly
I am quite disappointed with this brush, I expected better quality from Guerlain. Now the limited edition packaging is pretty to look at & I am a person who collects things like these to keep on my vanity. It works alright with the Meteorites Perles d’Azur pigments, but I have brushes that work much better. The case is very well made, though! And the brush is quite sturdy, just not very soft! :(

I love the Emilio Pucci design! This brush is amazing, especially with the meteorites! It's an ok length, not heavy

Spoil yourself!
-05.24.12
I bought this brush to accompany the Meteorites Perles d'Azur pigments and also because I adore Guerlain's products and Pucci design. Besides, no one can have too many quality Kabuki-style brushes.
The size of the brush is like Goldilocks' favorites, 'just right' and the fabric case with a snap closure is lovely. If you're choosy about brushes, you'll be delighted with this one.

Nice, but not worth the price
-05.23.12
This is a beautifully crafted brush. It is definitely very appealing for the eyes, but that is about it. I tried this brush with regular powders and the Gurlain meteorites, it is definitely a better application with the meteorites. The hair itself is soft, but it can be scratchy. I have used better brushes. I am going to keep this brush for my collection.

I must be honest....I bought the brush because it was a limited edition brush by Pucci. I liked the color so I decided to try it. The bag it comes in is cute, and so is the look of the brush. However, I found it to be stiff and not very soft at all. I prefer the Sephora brushes to this one although this one was more expensive.

Not worth the price!
-05.11.12
While I love the print on the case, the case itself is cheap and flimsy and doesn't seem like it would hold up well. I found the brush too small and rough for my taste. For me, it was not a brush I would be comfortable using and the quality did not seem up to standard (especially compared to the Guerlain Pucci Meteorites pearls I also purchased, which overall seemed much more luxurious and high quality). Not worth the high cost for a mediocre product.

Guerlain Emilio Pucci Powder Brush
-05.10.12
Disappointment! Not the Guerlain quality I'm accustomed to seeing. The brush is pretty to look at (hence the 2 stars), but the handle is short and the Pucci case is poorly constructed. Not worth the high price!

Multi-tasker
-05.04.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair
I use this for my blush, highlighter, finishing/setting powder, and bronzer. i usually end up over-doing my blushes but with this brush, it picks up just the right amount of color and I get the most natural flush of color on my cheeks. This brush makes me want to purchase even more blushes! I took one star off because it is not the softest brush there is.

Really great brush
-04.29.12
This brush really is perfect for the meteorites. It does exactly what it says.. picks up just the right amount of powder and it applies very well. The brush is not too soft and it is not too stiff. The packaging is just adorable, love the pouch! The brush is a beautiful shade of dark blue. This really is worth the money especially if you use the meteorites which are to die for!!

This brush allows for flawless application of the meteorites. The print on the case is exceptional and the quality of the kabuki brush is excellent. It picks up the perfect amount of product.

WOW!! This is so cute. Not only is it the perfect size for touchups but it is the sexiest and most unique case to pull the brush out of. I cant wait to pull this out of my bag when I order it : )
