Love!
-03.07.13
Very rarely do I love everything that comes in a kit. The colors are great! The blush is absolutely amazing. The eyeliner is awesome too. Almost black but hint of plum. The gloss goes perfect w blush. Primer is a natural gray silver. The shadow is matte smoke. Love love love. I have fair skin and dark hair.

Simple and glowing, great for glasses
-01.19.13
Quick Take: good value
I had been looking for a simple kit to help brighten up my look. I leave early for work each morning and needed a routine that would be easy to do and give me the results I wanted. I don't like to look like I have a lot of make-up on and I needed something to help brighten my eyes and wouldn't make my eyes look dark and shadowy once I put my glasses on.
I was uneasy about the grey eyeshadow with my brown eyes. I'm very fair skinned and have dark brown hair and didn't want to look dead. To my surprise the grey paired with the purple liner really brightened my eyes. I used to get a lot of compliments on my eyes, but when I started wearing glasses the compliments went away. I started using this kit 2 weeks ago and have received compliments on my eyes every day.
I have been wearing glasses for 5 years now and feel like no matter what the shape or size of my frames, they cast dark shadows over my eyes. I used to experiment with all the latest make-up fashions and most of the don't work well with glasses.
After a while I seldom wore make up. I've been recommending this set to all of my friends who wear make-up and have fair, cool toned skin. The blush is highly pigmented and a bit bright for my taste. I've been experimenting with the right about to use and have gotten there yet. In the mean time I've been using a tissue to wipe the excess blush off and tone it down. That has worked well and has helped me achieve a natural looking nice blush look.

That's Some Lip Color!
-08.28.12
Quick Take: good value, travel size
This is a good collection of colors for someone who wants to take their makeup skills to the next level. The Lipgloss is a little fussy looking on my skintone, but the Primer Shadow, Eye Shadow, and Eye Liner are definite wins!

Great all around kit
-08.04.12
Quick Take: good value
My favorite part of the kit is the shadow primer. It is subtle enough to use during the day, as long as you only use a little. The eye shadow is great too, for a night time look (I'm fair skinned). I like the blush, not my favorite but it's pretty. The lip glass is awesome. It's more pink and less purple than it looks in the bottle. Finally, the brush is awesome!

Mix and match for day or night
-07.03.12
Great kit that will take you from day to play to night. Included are instructions for a day/work appropriate look, a playful weekend look, and a sultry, evening look. The colors are buildable and go on somewhat sheer, so there's something for everyone. Fairer skin tones can wear them light, while medium to darker skin tones can build up the color.
Prime Time Primer Shadow in Polished Pewter : Love the primer shadows! Expected this shade to be more silver based on the name, but it's actually more grey with a slight tint of taupe. Very subtle and faint shimmer, just some tiny specks of sparkle here and there. Goes on sheer as a light grey and can be layered on for a darker one.
Velvet Charcoal Eyecolor: A medium grey that can be built up to a darker charcoal. Works well as a crease color or over the lid too if you want deeper shadow coverage.
Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 4 PM: This is a deep eggplant purple, so might not work as well for lighter skin tones. This will definitely show up on darker skin tones. The pencil glided smoothly with no tugging.
Rarest Rose Blush: This is a nice shade that doesn't go on nearly as bright as it looks in the pot. It's a neutral rose pink, that like the other colors in the kit, can be built up to darker coverage if you need it.
Plumtini: One of my favorite lip colors of all time! This doesn't go on as bright as it looks in the tube. A beautiful shade that's almost a cross between magenta and fuchsia with a hint of purple undertone to it. Absolutely lovely and definitely my favorite from the kit along with the primer shadow.

simple beauty

Great shade of grey for subtle color yet dramatic smokey color when you want it! Haven't used the lip color yet because I am not really a lip color wearer.

Good collection
-04.18.12
Quick Take: classic, wearable
This is one of those kits that can stand on its own. Add a mascara and you could get by using only whats in this kit. Downside being that for my fair skin tone, I was not able to use either the eye shadow or the primer in my crease. Too dark gray for my coloring.
The primer is great for the lid, not too shimmery. The charcoal shadow is a classic and was surprised that I didn't have anything comparable in my own vast BE collection. The lip gloss looked scary in the tube but actually worked with my skin tone, pleasantly surprised. It is not at all purple, just a nice wearable fuchsia. Always love having another RTC eyeliner. I think I'm up to 5 so far and every one has performed consistently well. Work fast if you smudge/blend them. They do set up fast. BE blush as always, very nice, would work well on all skin tones.
I believe that the picture for the Warm collection shows the same brush as the Cool collection picture, but you do get a different brush in each collection. I don't remember which one came from which, but they are both very nice brushes.
