A nice palette
-01.18.13
Quick Take: good value
A variety of shimmery and matte, colorful and neutral shadows, that all work together, which makes it a nice overall palette. The shimmery ones are shimmery but not gritty or glittery. The only drawback is that a few of the lighter colors aren't as pigmented as the rest but Berwick street (unique) and Carnaby street (uber pigmented) definitely make this palette worthwhile. The supposed bronzer Parliament Square is way too pink (definitely more of a blush). is also not super pigmented but does show up on my deeper skintone.(nc44/mufe 173)

Fun Little Palette
-12.24.12
Quick Take: great gift, good selection of colors, fun, good for everyday wear
I have had good luck with all the tokidoki series. I originally just bought them for the packaging, but the coverage is actually really good and I wear it everyday. Each pallet has good neutrals for everyday and a couple added fun colors. I love the tones and think they work for almost any skin color. The added little keychain is fun, but it makes the pallet packaging quite thick...sorta excessive. Overall a great value though!

Fun and Quirky for the Young at Heart
-11.30.12
Quick Take: good value, fun, cute, beautiful packaging, collectible
The longer this item remains in stock online, the more I am surprised given the quality and just fun packaging of this palette! If you're a fan of Tokidoki or are looking for a fun and "different" type of holiday present for the cute-loving friend or family member in your life, this is a high recommend.
8 Eyeshadows, 1 Bronzer/Blush and a cute little collectable Mozzarella character keycharm comes tucked inside this stylized British phone booth styled palette covered with various Tokidoki characters. It's true that this palette is not purse-friendly sized (roughly 8.5x4x1 inches but neither is the UD Vice palette purse-friendly but I wouldn't dock that bad boy points for size either) BUT it was meant more to be sitting (or standing upright) on your makeup counter.
I always use a primer with all my eyeshadows and it is recommended with these shades as some of them can get sheer otherwise. Regardless, the eyeshadows are a delight but vary in quality across the color board. King's Road, Berwick Street, and Saville are buttery soft and pigmented trio of sparkly gold/browns that are easy to blend. Saville is slotted as my favorite because it is such a pigmented and rich bronzy gold that I can get amazingly strong swatches without primer. The Strand and Carnaby Street are fun blues with some fine sparkle and although they LOOK scary (the Carnaby may look too blue for the faint of heart in the pan) they swatch out to a softer shade and are easy to blend out as they are to build up with a few layers if you really wanted a richer blue. Sloane Park, Baker Street, and Park Lane end up being my highlighters with the first two being a matte finish and the third a shimmer. They are surprisingly soft and buttery but the color pigmentation may come off as "chalky" looking on some skin tones if used as a an all-over shade. Better leaving those as highlighters in my book.
Finally the "Bronzer" I actually use as a blush on my medium skin and I love it. It's a soft and shimmery coral.
Overall, I wouldn't say that this palette is worth dishing out at the original $42 but at $25 it's actually a good deal. I docked off a star for the 3 colors that are too pale to use for anything but a highlight out of the 8 shades. 1 highlight is fine and good, 2 is stretching, but 3 is just way too many or in the least make them a darker, richer shade to use as an all-over color. It's a moot suggestion to add on to a discontinued brand but I'd have wished they swapped out that yellow Park Lane for even just a third blue to tie in The Strand and Caranby Street better.
Regardless of the negatives, the color pigmentation of the rest of the palette is good and given how Tokidoki palettes can be hit or miss on being amazingly pigmented to downright chalky and hard to work with, this one is still a fine and fun palette at its current price and the packaging certainly makes it more memorable in your makeup collection.

The Pinnacle of my Tokidoki Collection
-11.09.12
Quick Take: good value, pigmented, cute, chalky, easy to wear, collectible
Since Tokidoki is being discontinued, I have been taking full advantage of the great deals!
I am a sucker for cute or fun packaging, so I imagine I am what Tokidoki is geared toward
That being said, this palette is sturdy and adorable. The colors are well-pigmented (but a little chalky). It's not the best make up I've ever used, but it is definitely my favorite!
It is a little bulky, so it won't be able to be slipped into your purse, but it is a great addition to a make up collection.

So good you can eat it!
-11.03.12
Quick Take: travel size, excellent value, very natural ingredients, too much glitter/shimmer
I haven't tried this palette but have the Tokidoki Lion Pappa and Tokidoki Vegas palettes and I have to say two things. First the ingredients (except for Phenoxyethanol) are so natural I can wear without worry about long-term effects. Second, the colour is actually more pigmented than I expected from a dinky palette; a little primer helps make it better. On a less positive note, I only wish they made the palettes without any glitter or just one eyeshadow with giltter and definitely non-glitter blushes because it's too glittery for office-wear. Tokidoki please make the same palettes pearlized but without glitter and you'll have a whole new clientele! Love the portability!

Nice collection item
-10.20.12
Quick Take: unique, awesome blush, gives natural and dramatic looks
I really feel that anyone who gives Tokidoki a bad review is because they are not into what Tokidoki stands for, I am sad because Tokidoki is being discontinued but I also admit that I wouldn't have purchased any of their products at the original price. Now I have a lot of stuff and couldn't be happier!
LOVE FROM LONDON is in a special category, while some might say is bulky I like that aspect because it can remain standing and it gives the feeling of a phonebooth rather than a picture of one, only 3 of the eyeshadows could be categorized as chalky these are the pink, mocca and light yellow all at the upper of the packaging, the other 5 are remarkable pigmented, easy to blend and quite longwearing.
The "blush" works well like so, my complexion is light to medium and gives a nice radiance that complements all the dramatic and fun eye looks you can achieve with this palette, therefore is a nice companion, although if you remain on the theory that a blush is meant to be pink and quite bright then go ahead and use it as a bronzer, if your skintone is dark I recommend using it as highlighter, the pearlized effect is pretty and just as I say could multitask, jeez, what other blush can do those three??

Good Shadows
-10.15.12
At the sale price, I was happy to get this palette. Tokidoki shadows are overall a good quality and value, though some of the colors are hit and miss. The packaging is a little bulky but sturdy, as are most Tokidoki products. This is not meant to go in your purse. The little character is cute, but I could do without in favor of less packaging.

Love London
-09.01.12
Quick Take: good value, travel size, pretty colors
I purchased this palette because I love London, and its cute and the Olympics was in London this year! Whoot Whoot! I love the eyeshadow colors, some of the colors are pretty sheer like the pink, but if you put eyeshadow primer you should be fine. The bronzer however, I felt it was more like a blush than a bronzer.

I bought this mainly for the tardis blue color and because it was just too cute to pass up, but the quality is actually really great, especially for the price! I was especially impressed with the shimmery brown(right next to the blue). It is SUPER pigmented, and one of the creamiest eye shadows I own. The size of each shadow is actually pretty big so they'll last a long time. There are a couple in there that are more on the chalky side, but still not bad. For the price, I'd say it's definitely worth it!

Love!
-08.04.12
when I heard that Sephora was no longer going to carry the tokidoki makeup line, I knew I had to buy one last thing, and I'm so glad it was this palette! I love the mix of neutrals and brights! They blend so easily and last for hours! I also love having the bronzer as well. It coordinates nicely with both sides of the palette! Love from London reminds me how much I'm going to miss tokidoki!

Totally worth it!
-07.21.12
Quick Take: good value
I just picked up this adorable palette from Sephora because they're having that 40% off all Tokidoki merchandise. Truthfully, I bought it because I fell in love with that packaging as most people have.
I was actually a bit iffy before purchasing it because the colors didn't seem to be THAT pigminted on my skin when I swatched them at the store.
Luckily, the Urban Decay section was right next to the Tokidoki section. I put some Primer Potion on my hand and put the pink and yellow shadows over it and I was impressed! Many people complain about the lack of pigmintation, but it would be good to go if you apply a decent primer underneath before applying the shadows.
I wore the shadows for the first time when I went to work. I worked an 8 hour shift and at the end of the night, the colors were looking fantastic! I used the bronzer as a blush and it held up pretty good as well.
Would I have paid $42 bucks for it had it be at the original price? Probably not. I got it for $24 and I must say that it's quite the bargain.

Cute packaging!
-07.19.12
Quick Take: good value, cute
First and foremost, I'm giving this palette 4 stars because I found that some of the shadows aren't as pigmented as I'd like. They also don't feel as smooth and buttery as others I own. However, at the sale price, it's a decent deal. The packaging, while slightly inconvenient given the size, is absolutely adorable! I also LOVE the names they've given the shadows/bronzer. It adds a nice touch.
The shadows I wasn't impressed with are the lighter colored ones. I found that they don't show up on my skin at all. I also think they are a little chalky and there is a bit of fall out. However, the bottom 4 shadows are much better (though I with the royal blue were slightly more pigmented), and the bronzer is really pretty and actually reminds me a lot of my HG blush!
All in all I would say it's a cute fun palette, but I wouldn't recommend spending the money if you're strapped for cash and are being strategic with your spending. This is not a must-have for me.

As far as palettes go, this one is great! It has a good mix of everyday colors and fun colors, and you can really create some great looks. For me, the bronzer is pretty and doesn't look muddy like some bronzers do. I think it's a fun package for a very wearable mix of eye colors.

worse than other palettes
-07.01.12
Quick Take: chalky
I swatched this in store today (was considering buying) and it absolutely doesn't compare to other Tokidoki palettes, even at the sale price. I have the Soda Shop palette, which I think is of fine quality. Comparatively speaking the shadows in this are extremely chalky. Though the color of the swatch seems fairly pigmented, it doesn't last at all. Maybe you can make it work alright with some primer, but I don't see why this is worse quality than other stuff in the Tokidoki line. I was rather disappointed with the product and opted to buy several Arte palettes instead, which are of far better quality.

LOVE Love from London
-06.30.12
Quick Take: good value, travel size, beautiful packaging, fun
I am very bummed to see that Sephora is no longer going to carry Tokidoki. It is so Fun and Cute! It took me awhile to finally buy their makeup because I just thought I wasn't going to like their quality but I was so wrong. I love this palette! It's easy to travel with and you can easily do a day or night look. The eyeshadow has good pigmentation and lasts for hours with primer on. Very little fallout and overall just a very good product with incredibly beautiful packaging. Goodbye Tokidoki. You will be missed!!!
