I am so glad I purchased this set. The lip colors compliment the blush which works well when getting ready for work. Not much to think about. As a WOC, the lip color compliments my complexion very well. The lip gloss and lip tint pencil can be worn together. Neither product is drying on the lips. They both of very moisterizing. The blush is pigmented and is a subtle color on my complexion. It did not come off as powdery. I had looked at this set several times and finally purchased it. I am so glad that I did!

Quick Take: good value
I love Tarte and this set is a great collection of some of their best products! I'm pretty fair with blonde hair and blues eyes as well as a generally rosy complexion which is why I haven't really bothered with blush that much but this color worked great for me! I also really loved the lip tint which although a little glittery is not overwhelming at all. I wasn't really a huge fan of the gloss though. It's pretty sticky and gooey but still very pretty. My lip gloss pet peeve is texture and this one was just too thick for me. Overall I'd say go for it, the colors are universally flattering and two out of the three products are excellent!

Quick Take: good value, travel size, great color!, long lasting
Not only is this color the perfect shade for spring and summer, but this set is an awesome deal! The gloss is a little difficult to get started since its similar to a chalk pen, but once you get it to wick you're all set and the brush is nice. This is definitely a MUST HAVE!

I bought this trio a while back and I should really review. I love love love the blush and wear it nearly everyday. I should mention I have medium Asian skin that tends toward light/medium when I'm winter pale and tans to quite golden during the summer months. I also use the lip stain stick and gloss often. I own another lip stain from Tarte & layer the products in different combinations. I love that their lip stains come in an easy to apply "lipstick" that is long wearing, especially the matte shades. The Amazonian clay blush can go on sheer or layer quite vibrantly. I'm really into the bright blush and neutral lip/ blush lip look lately (with less eyeshadow). I have skin that can get oily during the day. This product is neither too dry for drier skin types nor will it wear off quickly on oilier skin.

I am really pleased with the Achiote Color Collection. The coral -pink blush is great in the spring /summer & I use the Lip Luster & Shine Lip Gloss all the time. Right amount of color and it doesn't show those lines around the lip area. Love Tarte's gift sets!!!!

Quick Take: gloss and lip color has too much glitter, great matte blush, lip products are good quality, lip products have smooth consistency
Was excited to try out this set! Really loved the blush! Great versatile flushed pink and very pigmented. The blush is a matte color with no shimmer or glitter. So I was confused at why the gloss and the lip pencil are filled with glitter.....chunky, thick feeling glitter. And i guess the color is too peachy for the color of my lips which are more rosy mauve. The lip pencil has a great consistency. It goes on really smooth and feels really soft on the lips....but the glitter : ( And the same with the gloss.....the color is off for my lip color and way too much glitter. Think I would like to try these two in another color instead. The quality of Tarte's products are great and I will keep trying/ buying their products!

I bought this set because I wanted the lip luster. I kept the blush and gave the gloss to my mother. My mother loves the gloss so much that she is going to order the entire set for herself. The blush is a stunning coral color that really compliments my fair skin. The lip luster one of my favorite colors ever, I do wish that Tarte would make this color in a lip tint since I'm not in love with the glitter that is found in all of their lip lusters (including this one). Please Tarte, make this a permanent color in your collections!

Universally flattering indeed

Quick Take: good value, natural-looking, soft color
I had never sampled any of these items before buying this kit. I took a risk and bought it anyway but I'm glad I did! I wasn't expecting the gloss to be that great but it surprisingly is my favorite of the three. It is very similar to my other favorite, Buxom, except for the applicator. I was a little disappointed in the lip tint, it didn't last very long on my lips but it did feel moisturizing. Like a tinted lip balm. I like the blush a lot. Blushes are all kind of the same to me, but this one does seem to have great staying power and it makes my cheeks soft after wearing. Altogether, this color is very natural looking. I was thinking it would pop more than it does but I still really like how it looks. If you are wanting a bright pink like I was thinking it would be, you may be disappointed. I am still pleased with it because it is very pretty and gives a nice natural flush, like, is she wearing makeup or isn't she? The swatches I saw on other people looked different than it did on me, but still very pretty. So even though it's not advertised as one of those "personal shades" type of makeup I feel like it kind of is! If you want an every-day natural look, this is for you.

The set is worth the price. The blush gives a very natural pink hue to my skin...like a healthy flush.
The lip luster has to be reapplied after eating and such, but it's moisturizing and adds to a natural look. I do like the slight shimmer in the gloss. It's subtle and feminine.
The gloss itself has minimal colour, but when paired with the lip luster, it really pops the shade. I actually like pairing it with other shades of lip luster like pouty and swank.
It's definitely worth the price, provided you utilize/ need all 3 items.

I purchased this Tarte set for a gift exchange for my friends. The woman who got it is fair skinned, brunette, but has a little color in her cheeks. The colors suit her perfectly. The lip luster stands out wonderfully against her skin while the blush blends in very well.

I wanted this set for the blush and the lip surgence lipstick. The lip gloss is cute but i feel that the applicator is a tad clumsy. Gloss is a tad sticky for my taste but the case is too cute not to flaunt. I will use it until its gone but will not go out of my way to purchase any of tartes glosses with this form of applicator. Only reason I am not giving it a five is because with a case so cute... the application isn't up to snuff. Doe foot would have been better,

It's a beautiful, easy to wear color. The blush looks like a natural flush and lasts all day. The gloss is a pretty shimmering coral pink, but the minty smell is a little too strong for me. It doesn't stop me because I love the color. But, it is noticeable every time I apply it. The Lip Luster is smooth and nondrying on my lips. A very happy purchase.

Quick Take: okay
The lipsurgence "lip luster" translates to lipsurgence with glitter particles in it. I gave that to my 10 year old daughter. The maracuja lip gloss is sheer with little pigmentation, which is fine. The blush is completely matte and a beautiful color. The real standout in the set was this blush.
