Before I found out about harmful ingredients, this was my top pick out of ridiculous amounts I"ve tried. Didn't really use it under the eye but loved it for lids! Unfortunately, Tarte, even though they claim natural (like many other companies that claims "natural" or "organic") the ingredients aren't all safe. this has PEG aka Polyethylene Glycol. After doing so much research on every little ingredient that I could ever come across (there is waaaayy too many) PEG is always listed as one of the top harmful ingredients. It strips your skin, and therefore causes dehydration and accelerates the aging process. Nice try Tarte - not so natural after all!

I have tried many primer products, this is the best for eyes
It only takes a tiny dab under and over each eye and my eyeliner/shadow stays put all day and all evening. I am on my second tube and will forever use this great product. Tarte has some other outstanding products as well.

This is actually a really great primer, it keeps things put the whole day,it prevents eyeshadows from creasy, a little goes a long way etc. However, it lost one star, as towards the end of the product, it becomes a oily in consistency which I do not like. But I recommend it overall.

This is great! I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and oily eye lids as well, this is the only product that works to prevent oil on my skin. I even use it on my t-zone because it works better than the other tarte primers. I even used it today for a 3 mile hike, just for my eyebrow make-up as a test and it all stayed put. I have a scar on my eyebrow too, and the skin on a scar rejects more makeup, but this is the only product that helps makeup stay on scarred skin. It's amazing!

I love this primer! I only had to use a very small amount on each eye and had absolutely no fallout of shadow 12 hours later. I received a sample of this and will definitely be purchasing the full sized tube!!

Love the way this keeps my eye make-up looking fresh all day. Time will tell if it holds up to a hot, sticky St. Louis summer -- but so far it works better than anything else I've come across on the market!

I bought the travel size primer trio which it included the eye primer, and I admit I've felt in love with it. I've used other recognizable brands which I am ok, but this Eye Primer IS THE BEST eye primer for my greasy eyelids, I also use it when I put on pencil eyeliner which helps it stay in place. I highly recommend it for ppl that have trouble with oily skin, but also for normal b/c my mom has normal-dry and she also loves it. Its a great product!

This is the first eye primer I have used. I bought it in the trial size, and so far I have liked it. It goes on smooth and dries to a matte finish. It does keep my eyeshadow on throughout most of the day, but I did begin to notice some fall out by 4 p.m. (I put on my makeup at 6 a.m.). This occurred mostly with shimmer eyeshadows...I have not had a problem with matte eyeshadows. I will be trying other primers to see which one I like the best, but so far I have no real complaints about this one!

I was nervous about this one because of some of the reviews, but it works well for me. It squeezes out of the tube with a nice consistency and a little goes a long way. I like that it makes my eye shadow almost look airbrushed on yet still very natural, not too heavy and not fake or artificial looking. It also lasts for me, I've even napped with it on and my shadow stayed in place!

I have pretty oily skin, and have never been able to find a primer that keeps me crease-free all day. I look like my morning make-up in still intact after 12-14 hours after applying. It's a little grainy until it blends it, but that's more of a comment than a complaint. Awesome stuff!

I needed a base to keep my eyeshadow from sliding off my lids, and I was skeptical of just about every product since I have very sensitive skin around my eyes. I was thrilled when not only did Clean Slate work beautifully and made my shadow pop, but it didn't make my eyes itch! I'm hooked.

Quick Take: smooth, easy to use, blendable
I really like this primer. I usually use Urban Decay, but the problem with that is sometimes it will cake or ball up when I put it on and I'll have to spend my time using my fingernail to get it off my lid (urgh!) and then put more on because I've taken it off and...anyway, it's not exactly the most malleable cream, so I was looking for an alternative (and it still creases, especially if I've had a long day and/or it's humid outside). I tried this because the ratings were overall pretty good and I like that it's a lighter cream (not all thick) and easier to put on my eyes (which is important, because the less you rub on your lids, the better the prevention for future wrinkles!). So far, it's performed better than the UD one and I don't have creases! But it's also winter and it's not humid yet, so I'll have to see how it will perform once the weather gets warm.

I've used two-faced primer, urabn decay primer, philosphy primer, stilla primer, bobbi brown primer (and too many more to list) and I can say without question, this is my favorite. It feels a little greasy at first but it takes no time to smooth on eye-lids and it becomes matte. I bought the trial size to use at my wedding and have never turned back. It keeps pigment fresh all day and there's NO CREASING! I work 10+ hours a day and even after my evening work-outs, my make-up looks fresh. Best primer out there!

I have tried several eye primers and this is the best one, hands down. I put my makeup on at about 7:30 this morning, and looking at my eye makeup now (8:45pm) it still looks exactly as it this this morning! Plus a little goes a long way and I love that it doesn't have scary ingredients. Just make sure you have the patience at night to remove your eye makeup, because this stuff really keeps it on!

I have extremely oily lids, and as a primer on its own, it did not hold up well at all. I applied a cream base on top and it stood put for as long as a regular primer would have allowed it to (for me that's about 7hrs and then it began to crease).
