Quick Take: dreamy
I had tried this scent on several times and would just inhale the intoxicating fragrance - it always made me smile, so I had to have it. That being said, the scent does not stay on nearly as long as other Tocca perfumes I have (Stella & Florence) and I truly wish it had more staying power. Good scent to layer with as well.

Quick Take: fresh, floral
I love the scent of violets, so this lovely scent is perfect for me. It has a clean floral, slightly spicy scent that makes me happy to wear it. I would give it a perfect 5 stars if it lasted just a little longer into the day.

Quick Take: fresh, feminine, light
I am in love with this fragrance! I too first smelled it by receiving a sample with my Sephora order. I tried it a few times, and couldn't get over how much I loved it. Then, i bought the small Tocca sampler around the holidays, and this was still my favorite in the bunch. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I had to order the full size. I would recommend it for someone who tends to like a more fresh, floral, almost girlish smell. I would place it in the same group as fragrances made by the CLEAN fragrance brand. It smells very light, fresh, and feminine. It's not very musky. It is lighter and less long lasting than other Tocca scents, but that also means its less overpowering when you first put it on. Try it in the store and walk around for a while and see if you can forget it!

Usually im one to just buy a b. and body works body mist, but now im saving for a bottle of this stuff. I got it in a sample size with another order, and it smells like some sort of violet-y, feminine version of your boyfriends smell, one that he would go crazy over if he smelled you. I totally and whole-heartedly recommend!

This smells very nice, floral, feminine, and classy. Yet the perfume is so weak, even after putting it over all of my pulse points I could barely smell it. I imagine I would have to use half the bottle to be able to smell it on me. I guess this would be good if you were extremely sensitive to perfumes. But I like my perfumes stronger.

i love this scent.....violets are my favorite & always smell so nice on me......this scent on me is very light & not overpowering......its such a beautiful blend.....very floral but not so floral u get an allergy LOL.....i am new to tocca - i bought this & so this is love (which i'll review separately ) & i cant wait to buy more of the line :)

I got a sample of Tocca Violette with one of my Sephora orders and fell in love with it! It is not too heavy and smells somewhat citrusy and floral on me. Eventually, the citrusy scent wears off and gives way to a sweeter scent with hints of musk.
I got Tocca Violette because it has somewhat similar notes to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but it is much lighter as the Coco can sometimes be a tad overpowering. Both have bergamot in their top notes, include a blend of rose and fruit scents in their middle notes (litchi for Coco and blackcurrant for Violette), and have a musk in their base notes. This combination of bergamot, floral, fruit, and musk just happens to smell really good on my skin so Violette takes first place along with my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle for my favorite perfume!

Sadly, I had to return this. It's very fruity and sweet. At first spray, the current is the only note I can detect. Like other Tocca fragrances, this dries down nicely and morphs into something sexier as it warms on your skin. (I love how Tocca scents do this...) But I just can't stand it for long enough to wait for it to finally smell nice. I don't like to smell like fruit. Reminds me of a cheap smelling body store spray from the mall. Not what I'm going for.

Got this as a sampler and it's basically my ideal perfume. I definitely prefer florals, and this is balanced with some woody smells (which I also love) so it is not TOO flowery. Soft but very sophisticated. Please pick up the rollerball or solid formula!!!

I just got this sample, thank you SEPHORA ! I have been looking for a clean fragrance that was a bit more neutral. I think that I have found it, alas. When I was younger, I wore Tiffany, but they changed it..ugh! For those gals that like woodsy,k but want something neutral and clean, not powdery and sweet, give it a try. I am pleased. For those who say it just does not last on them, try putting some fargrance free lotion on before applying the fragrance. According to my Mother, this will help to anchor the fragrance. She does this with her Chanel Gardenia!

Quick Take: good value
I fell in love with Tocca at first sniff. Cleopatra is my favorite but my husband got me a gift set of three mini's last year and I love them all. I do wish the fragrance lasted longer but the mini's are great because they're small enough to keep in my desk or purse for refreshing through the day. They are amazing scents and I can't wait to try my sample of Violette when it comes. Some of the fragrances do come in solid versions which tend to linger longer on the skin. Rollerballs, or another portable method, or their perfumes would be fantastic. I've found every Tocca fragrance to be totally unique and uplifting. I hope this one stands up to the rest!

I absolutely love the Colette fragrance, but it was a little too heady for summer. This is the perfect warm weather counterpart. It is lighter and fresher but has the same feeling. I will definitely repurchase both the Violette and Colette fragrances. I hope that more options for both of these lines (roller ball, lotion, etc.) are created.

this is a beautiful light, sweet, musky floral scent-very fresh smelling! i will definitely be purchasing this in the future. It is light, but i can still smell it on myself at the end of the day, so i am content. btw, if you are a fan of Pink 'fresh and clean' from victoria's secret, i find them to be slightly similar.

This is a perfect blend of crisp, floral, and beautiful. Usually I am not a fan of floral fragrances (I tend to like more rich and full bodied fragrances) but this one is perfect for a feminine summer scent! I found this to last on the skin just as long as all of the other Tocca fragrances I have purchased, and it develops to an even lovelier scent the longer it is on. It's the perfect spring and summer light scent that makes one feel as beautiful as the blooming blossoms all around. A definite classic and timeless feminine fragrance!

A very gentle and sophisticated light floral scent. I fell in love with this when I first tried it, but unfortunately the lightness of this scent caused it to fade away in a couple of hours. However, this scent is still gorgeous and very wearable. After drying down, it reminds me of the creamy notes in Juicy Couture's "Couture Couture" fragrance, but this is more classic and romantic than playful. I hope they come out with a rollerball version of Violette, because it needs to be refreshed throughout the day.
