Quick Take: fine
the case is very effective and the file leaves nails very smooth. leaves nails VERY fine and smooth, but takes a lot of patience & time in filing as the smooth texture means that filing can take a very long time. do it while watching something!

When my manicurist reprimanded me for misshapen nails and recommended using a (glass) file, I found this one in store! I love the color of the file and case (and the case for that matter). It's easy on my nails, and I like that I can wash it before/after each use.

Quick Take: great!
I've never used a glass file before. This one works wonderfully! Makes my nail edges smooth, easy to clean and has a holder to keep it safe. Cheaper than other glass files out there. Next one I will buy is the travel size.

I've had a glass file before, but it broke in my purse. I absolutely love glass files because they are much easier on the nails and leave a smoother finish on the edges. I also love the case it come in. A nice hard plastic case that will keep the file from getting crushed in the bottom of my purse. My only qualm is that my previous file which was from a different company, was also tempered on the edges which helped to file the sides of my nails. This file does not have that. I was disappointed but I still love the file.

i love these! i get them every time i lose the previous one. i was so annoyed one time when my sister sat on it and it cracked in half. now i am loving the case. it prevents my sister from cracking it again. i really love this and recommend buying these cause they last a long time!

Finally won't break

Quick Take: file, nail
I got this because I have 2 other crystal nail files but I can never take them with me on the go. I needed this case so if I have a nail break I can fix it on the spot. My only issue is the case doesn't pull apart easily.

So I've been buying crystal nail files from Sephora for a long time now. I dropped my last one and it broke so I bought another one (this one) but it's not the same as they used to be. This one is much thinner and just different. Seems cheaper. Doesn't seem worth the price compared to the last version.

I usually use the emery boards you get for free, but I received a gift certificate for my birthday so tried this one. Honestly, it is so much better - much cleaner, smoother, and softer on you'd nails. I love that you can sanitize it. Also - it's cute. Will buy another for my office.

Great nail file-I have fragile nails that grow quickly and the usual emery boards etc. leave an edge that no matter how careful I am, I usually snag a nail and it tears. This file is very gentle and I intend to buy another one for my purse.

This file does not wear down like the others. The only downfall is that since it is glass, it is more fragile and can break easier. I do not let my daughters use it.

Decreasing Quality

I had a Sephora brand glass nail file that was at first glance identical to this for over a year before I dropped it and it broke. I replaced it with this one, which shattered in my hand while I was filing my nails the third time I used it! The abrasive part of the file is also much finer grit, making it get clogged up quickly. Overall this product is definitely sub-Sephora standard and definitely not worth the high cost.
