Dull
-05.05.13
Quick Take: ineffective
This is a horrible cuticle clipper. The pointed ends are dull and do not clip the cuticle. So basically it doesn't work. Returning!

Not the same as the old ones!
-04.06.13
Quick Take: disappointing, don't work properly, poor quality blade
I purchased these as a replacement for my old sephora cuticle nippers (Sadly they were confiscated in airport security when I forgot they were in my bag). These new ones are not a shred on the old ones. You have to really press hard to get them to cut through, and when you do they take off quite a thick amount of cuticle- the blade is not as fine or sharp as the old ones. And you have to kind of pull to remove what you are trimming too! Also you cannot rotate the center hinge, only a small thing I know but I miss this about the old ones.
I would not waste my money on these! Search around for some other ones at a nail supply store. I wish I had listened to the other bad reviews on here before I bought them! I'm going to try and return them!

Average?

Quick Take: ok
I take my own tools to my manicurist. She pulled it out of the box and upon using them, wasn't feeling it. Said they should be sharper.

It's ok...

Quick Take: nothing special
I would not recomend. it is quite dull for the price. I should have stuck with my drug store brand and saved 5-6 dollars.

Poor design
-03.06.13
The top part of the blades did not meet. Also, they weren't very sharp, so when cutting hangnails and cuticles, I had to pull the skin a bit. Poorly designed. I returned it.

-03.05.13
This simply does not do the job. The blades are just not sharp enough, period. Spend the money and get the real thing.

a little disappointed
-03.01.13
I purchased these based on a recommendation from Real Simple magazine. I love the rubber-covered handle, and the plastic cover is a great addition. However, the nippers are not very sharp. They are fine for an occasional hangnail, but for a complete manicure, I found that they "chewed" my cuticles.

I purchased this after reading a good review. I like the handle but the cutting part seems to be not fine enough for my fingers. I had to return it.

Really bad
-02.09.13
Quick Take: bad
Unlike most sephora products, this item is a complete piece of junk. It flat out doesn't work, blades are not sharp enough to cut anything

Dull
-12.28.12
Quick Take: dull, disappointing, waste of money
Do not waste your money. I have used the drugstore brand cuticle trimmers for decades and decided on this cute pink one to maybe keep my husband from using it. It is HORRIBLE. It tears your skin because it is not sharp enough to cut the cuticle skin. Cute, yes. Waste of money, yes. Basically, it doesn't work because it's too dull to snip. Don't bother.

Not sharp
-12.24.12
Really disapointed. Not sharp at all and because of this you can actually pull and tear the skin.
